Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin

Coming soon

I have to admit, Mike ‘Boogie’ returning to Big Brother is probably the most exciting player to return.  I didn’t catch season 2, but I did watch the All-Star season where Dr.Will essentially dominated the season all while wearing the fairly annoying Boogie on his back.  Despite being the only winner to return that season, Will Kirby still managed to make it to the final 4 and then completely manipulated the jury to vote for his friend Mike.

Does Boogie deserve some credit?  Yes, of course.  He did his fair share of work in the house, but I remember that season pretty well and only remember how lucky he was to have Will in the house with him.

After winning the All-Star season 7, Boogie tried his hand in a few TV projects from appearing on Seinfeld to Enrique Iglesias’ music videos.  Needless to say, he loved entertainment, so it was no surprise that he was willing to come back for Big Brother 14.

Like any true celebrity, he’s had multiple run-ins with the law being arrested on a few trespassing charges to assault after the 2007 World Series.   I’m also guessing his winnings are probably gone by now, another reason to come back and try again.

    im in love with boogie

For the sake of accuracy – Boogie’s appearance on Seinfeld was 7 years prior to Big Brother being aired and NOT after BB All Stars as you have stated in your bio…

If you remember.. he was perfectly fine being a coach. Even though I am thrilled he is in the game. I don’t think he really wanted to be a player. He really had nothing to prove… he already played a worthy team mate to DR. Will in S02, then proved he could continue to grow and win in BB All Stars. In this season, in my opinion was his opportunity to prove that he is a great over all player and coach.

I can’t stand Mike Boogie. He’s like a two-year-old child — oops, my grandchildren behave better than him. He needs to grow up. Perhaps he should look at his own behaviour before constantly making fun and denigrating all the other people in the house — except Frank. Of course he NEEDS Frank if he wants to make it to the finals. He can’t win any competitions.

I totally agree not that he cant win he doesnt think he needs to…i hope and pray he is out this week but BB in DR’s is trying to get others to have him stay (they have already said DR is on them)….what a reality show!

Please oh Please god of big brother, save boogie from eviction tonight, send jenn home shes probably tired of all the floating shes been doing, and please oh please let the next one to go be IAN!, for rats are pests, and pests are not welcome in the BB house. thank you!…

I’m going to miss Boogie! Him and Frank are my favorite to watch. Too bad Ian was a little rat hiding behind Dan! Sooo glad boogie was able to warn Frank. Lets hope he listens!

For the sake of accuracy, here are some corrections to the above:
-Boogie is a restaurant operator and investor of Will Kilbry’s Dr. Tatoff
-Most of Boogie’s arrests occurred in the 1990’s, before his appearance on Big Brother.
-Seinfeld ended in 1997 and therefore, could have not have appeared on it after staring on All-Stars.
    Thank you.

I guess it was little cold in Chilltown this season> hahaha Boogie.

Wow, whoever wrote this bio is completely uneducated. For a website called “big brother junkies” I would expect you would have done your research. Mike is an extremely successful restaurant group owner and probably co-owns about 65% of the most successful restaurants in the LA area. Honestly some celebs have a hard time getting into some of the clubs and restaurants he owns. He goes on big brother for promotion and to win money, he has already won and knows he’ll never win again but its all about the dough. Man sees a business opportunity and was probably asked after Will Kirby said no. I’d give the man a little more credit than “I think his winnings are probably gone now”.

Mike”Boogie”– what can I say. I have been watching BB since the beginning. I have grown to love this guy over the years. He is one of if not the best player of all time!! You deserve the credit for Ian’s win. Ian “learned from the best”. Boogie displays grace and class.
