Big Brother 21 – Saturday Afternoon Feeds Plus Veto Results

Good afternoon, everyone!

It’s veto day in the Big Brother house and it’s a pretty important one for the future of Christie’s game. I know I’ve said it before so I won’t repeat all the scenarios but basically if you’re a fan of Christie’s side of the house, and her two-person alliance especially, it’s best to hope Tommy gets picked and wins veto. Nick winning may end with Tommy on the block while anyone else (but Christie or Sis) winning means noms stay the same and Christie goes to jury.

I had a dream last night that I was in the Big Brother house. Something that unfortunately happens quite often during the season. In the dream, I sat back and said ‘crap, I really need to win the veto today. There is no other option’ and I assume that is what Christie and/or Tommy feel today.

While I am not a huge fan of Christie, I do appreciate people who play the game hard and she is one of them. I don’t want to see her go this week because that severely weakens half the house which makes for a boring remainder of the season. As someone who has to watch the feeds for hours every day, I enjoy good feeds first and that is what Christie brings.

Not much else to talk about so I’m going to jump right in:

10:20 am – Sis is starting to have a breakdown and Christie and Nick are comforting her

Analyse is upset at Holly for turning on them. She claims she could have played harder when Jack was on the block but she didn’t. Sis, that’s on you. If you think you could have kept Jack around (which is unlikely, btw), it’s on you to do it. She was bumping uglies with the dude, she should have fought harder to keep him for the sole reason he was insanely loyal to that group.

Meanwhile, Christie is saying she is fine with being on the block because that’s part of the game. If she won, she would have put him up but he beat her to it. That’s the attitude I respect, but I doubt she’ll have that same attitude all week.

Nick tries to have his own pity party how he’s been dragged through the mud and Christie sets him straight by saying everyone has been dragged this season

Tommy is trying to be diplomatic but they’re not having any of it

He continues to say things like ‘right, but they may have told a lie but what about when you told a white lie’. I don’t know why he’s doing it. I can’t tell if he’s just trying to be SUPER diplomatic for jury votes or he’s really just a neutral person in life and actually means what he says. His laugh is annoying as hell but it’s refreshing to hear someone take this approach.  If it’s for game, great for him. If it’s just the way he is, even better.

11:00 am – Tommy is in the bathroom listening to Christie vent. It’s going to be a long week for him. I’d like to know how he really feels about Christie seeing as she’s the ex of his aunt so it’s like 50/50 they were on bad terms? Either way, getting rid of this dead weight may be best for Tommy’s longterm game. If she goes, she’ll definitely be his #1 cheerleader in jury and will easily sway people if he’s in the final 2.

Christie is talking about Sis how it’s kind of dumb she’s taking it so personally when it’s purely a game move. Everyone but Sis sees this. Tommy sees this but still thinks it’s stupid because it ruins Holly’s game. Tommy says Holly is doing it so she can stand behind Jackson and let him get voted out first. Christie then trashes Holly on female independence but Tommy shrugs that comment off. I don’t see how trying to save your partner in the game has anything to do with independence. Why should Holly sit back and let Jackson go? I’d think Holly stepping in and campaigning for him is more female empowerment rather than letting the men fight it out. Am I wrong?

Update forgot to mention – Cliff, Holly, and Nick were picked to play. Having Cliff and Nick play is probably best case for Christie’s side. Holly hurts because she’s fierce.

11:50 am – People are sitting around getting ready for the veto comp

1:50 pm –  Veto competition time!

3:40 pm – Feeds back!

Jackson won the Power of Veto. Christie is screwed this week

Christie is crying in the havenot room that

Christie is saying ‘Tommy is supposed to be my friend’ to Cliff. I guess they were celebrating which hit her hard.

Don’t forget to donate to Mel and NK!

Christie says she can’t wait to go to jury (she’s alone now)

Tommy comes in and says he fucked up and is sorry.  She says she’s fine but is crying hysterically.

Christie is upset and feels stupid because she is the only person in the house who came in with a friend and their games didn’t align. All Tommy’s friends and allies want her out

Upstairs, Jackson and Holly are talking about it. They are saying how Christie is being a good sport while Analyse is basically being a brat. They’re right. Christie has been great about it considering how passionate she is. Crying is expected, but she respects the move.

Back downstairs, everyone is just kind of sitting around quiet.
