Big Brother 25 Monday Feed Updates 9/4

Good afternoon, everyone!

Happy Labor Day to everyone. I hope you had a fun and safe weekend. If you’re returning home from vacation, you’ll notice some changes here! Let’s run through what I knocked out this weekend:

• Re-designed the front page feed updates to be smaller, yet highlight the important part of the update – the actual update itself.
• Created a page for each update where you can comment on an update. Also added the ability to make a quick comment to an update from either the front page or feed update.
• On both front and feed update page, the latest supporter comment is displayed.
• Created a voting system for feed updates so you can show which updates you liked / disliked. Right now this does nothing, but when I have time next, I will be creating a sorting feature on the feed updates page where you can see most disliked, most liked, trending, etc. This should be helpful when you’re away for a day or two and want to catch up on the best updates of the last week. (everyone can vote as long as you’re registered and logged in)

The updates above show my commitment to not only bringing features, but making sure you don’t need to pay to enjoy them yet trying to give supporters an extra touch. That’s why I am showing supporter comments on the page. Anyone can make a comment, but the supporters will be highlighted. (That also helps prevent spammers from posting their junk and having it instantly appear on the front page)

Anyway, inside the house it’s veto ceremony day where Jared has to pick the replacement for Cam. Three names went into a blender of madness and only one will come out. America, Bowie, and Jag were the only real options that Jared gave himself and the house has been going back and forth on which one to do. Before the meeting, it ended with Jag, but we won’t know for sure until the feeds return after the meeting.

Last night, Jag was told he was likely going up, but as a pawn. Whether or not that’s the actual case won’t be revealed until probably Wednesday. Right now, he’s actually a target, but once Red has his birthday celebration, the house may quickly just turn back against him and he’ll end up walking out the door.

Slow day on the feeds so I’m out for the night! Will it pick up by the end of the week? Hard to tell right now. This may be one of those slow weeks where both people think they’re safe.
