Good morning, I started early today on the recap so I think I finally have one that will get posted early too. I’m trying to take off work early to decorate for my birthday party this weekend. (No, I’m not Jasmine. I’ll only be celebrating for 1 day) I haven’t told people coming it’s a 90’s hip hop/gangsta rap theme. They just know it’s a pool party. I have some relatives who only listen to Country music so I thought it was best to surprise them. I’ve got fake bling, blow up boom boxes and a bunch of other tacky stuff. I should pay my respects to Lisa because I even bought edible gold glitter for the cake. I can’t wait! Anyway, I’ll move on to things you actually WANT to hear about.
I was sad to see Brooklyn go and she was on her way to making a fantastic villain. Oh well, it’s a new week and we have a new hoh. (Spoilers Below)

Here’s a few shots of the live show before I get into the recap.
Chelsie winning the AI comp:

You think production was panicking because it was taking too long? They finally had to just start giving them the answers. (Haha):

They didn’t want a repeat of Kaitlyn’s puzzle:

Two people who really want to stay in the game and some other guy:

Brooklyn campaigning to take out Tucker…in front of Tucker. (I liked her fight to stay)

Tucker’s reaction:

Look at the body language. (Yeah, the CIA trained me too) Brooklyn’s all intense and Cam looks like he’s waiting for his lunch:

I enjoy Joseph’s one liners to Julie. (‘Who’s this?”) It’s better than shout outs:

I hate to break it to Brooklyn but there are plenty of mothers who’ve won comps on past seasons. (She thought she was gonna be a first) It sucks but she missed her chance to be one of them. Also, she’s the 5th person in a row evicted who didn’t vote Ainsly into the house. Ainsley’s revenge??

Ok, I need to get into the recap but just a couple more Brooklyn things. These are some pics of her with her family on Halloween. A while back, Leah mentioned seeing these somewhere online. She said she thought she recognized Brooklyn from her Halloween posts.

I go all out for Halloween too so game recognizes game. Nice job Brooklyn!

Brooklyn brought up knowing Joseph’s brother on the feeds Wednesday. I missed part of the convo so I don’t know when she realized it. It appears she was telling the truth or in Brooklyn style, part of the truth. Apparently, she did go to school with him but she was trying to tell Joseph they were good friends. (Haha, hey it didn’t hurt to try) This is a tweet from Joseph’s brother. He said he didn’t know her:

As for other things from Wednesday, Angela and Tucker made their F2 official. It’s called the Unexpected. (Sorry, they’ll always be MotherTucker to me) Tucker suggested they work with a couple of other people, like maybe Leah and Joseph and Angela agreed. (Of course she did. At this point, she’d probably help him bury a body) Actually, on second thought, I think it would have to be the other way around. I’d peg her for needing that kind of help over him. (Just a huntch)

Tucker, Rubina, Kimo and T’kor also made a F4 called Friendzzzzy. (The names are soooo bad this year) The only two I’ve liked so far was BB Guns (Quinn and Angela) and Quality Control or QC. (Quinn and Cedric)

Friendzzzzy amused me when it formed. The other three we’re actively trying to go against what Tucker wanted WHILE making a F4 with him. They were trying to save Chelsie, took a break to make the F4 and went right back to scheming against him after Tucker left the room.

Angela, who hadn’t been good with Joseph since week 1, bonded with him again during the have not week. It’s why she was open to working with him when Tucker suggested it.

I really thought we’d get a crazier version of Angela while she was a have not but except for her meat and cheese being taken, she didn’t do too bad.

Big Brother is the only show that could get “charcuterie board” trending. (As BB fans, if you’re not one of us, you’ll never understand us)

I mean, where else is this an acceptable thing to say:

Have-nots ended late on Wednesday and Angela, Kimo and Joseph ate everything in sight. I think Kimo’s the only one to have done it twice so far. Angela was so excited, she even danced with Quinn….and dipped him.

They had a couple of cake mixes stashed away to make Angela’s birthday cake. Leah made it for her and this was the result. (Too bad I don’t have Leah here to make my cake):

Leah took a lot of shit online for that masterpiece. It’s ok though, she redeemed herself by making this one too. Except for the jacked up icing on the top, it’s really cute:

MJ and Leah continued monitoring Rubina’s sleep schedule. It was wasted time for them because after Quinn flirted with Rubina a bit, Tucker stopped hiding the shomance.

This was funny to watch on the feeds. Tucker had already made a comment about the way Quinn gets Rubina to laugh. (Haha)

Later, they sat close to each other during dinner and Tucker fed her a cookie in front of everyone. He’s done hiding it folks.

Leah caught them holding hands under a blanket and spread it all over the house.

It went something like “I don’t like care but like did you like see them like holding hands?”

Timo discussed going to the hoh room to talk to Tucker about flipping the vote to keep Chelsie around 4 or 5 am. Luckily they didn’t do it since it was Tucker’s last night in the hoh room. There was some heavy making out going on up there. Rubina also talked to him about wanting to keep Chelsie. He didn’t agree. Rubina said they (Timo and Rubina) didn’t know who Cam would put up but felt ok with Chelsie. Tucker said if Cam left, he’d be the only “physical threat” left in the game. He said it would make the target on him bigger. (True but could it get any bigger?)

Before I move on to Thursday, here’s a couple of things from the Wednesday night episode. Brooklyn saying “little red robin hood” made me laugh. (Her swimsuit was really cute) I don’t really understand what swim suits have to do with hide the veto though.

The way Joseph flings his arms and legs when he runs also cracks me up:

Brooklyn enjoying Angela’s food:

Angela ending up in the floor over it. (Haha):

Tucker at the veto ceremony outing the alliance everyone already knew about. (Ok, it was probably news to MJ):

Oops, my thumb hit the wrong key so here’s a double shot of Cam doing some PT for Kimo:

By Thursday morning, Timo had done enough work to flip the vote. They only needed 5 votes and they had them. They talked with Tucker, along with Rubina. T’kor told Rubina (while alone) they were doing it, period. When she was in the room with Tucker, she didn’t say very much. Rubina told T’kor she needed to speak up about it. FINALLY, someone said it!! She usually sends Kimo to speak for her.

I guess the hoh week was draining for Tucker. Running a cult is hard work y’all. He sort of had a moment yesterday:

Brooklyn, Chelsie and Cam having a last hug. They all agreed whoever stayed would go after Tucker:

Chelsie and Joseph made up. It wasn’t sincere with either of them. (Chelsie’s a good liar)

The flip ended up not mattering but they said they planned to go against Tucker and keep Chelsie over Cam. I guess we’ll never know for sure since Chelsie came off the block. It’s definitely what I wanted to see happen last night. I’m not complaining, though because we’ve had the veto consistently used, flipped votes and outed alliances almost daily this year and all in the first month.

Last night, T’kor won the hoh. She got a letter from her twin sister and some new glasses. (Thank goodness, she doesn’t have enough of those!)

She held 20 minute one on ones with everyone. Naturally, Kimo went first. He said she’d probably have to put up the only people she isn’t in an alliance with and that’s MJ, Leah and Cam. (The alliance is over with Chelsie but they’re trying to rebuild with her) She’d also like to get rid of Joseph, Angela and Tucker but can’t just yet. They said Tucker would probably volunteer since he’d volunteered for everyone else.

MJ was dumb enough to giver her names when T’kor asked. It’s still Quinn and Angela for her. Leah gave up some too but was a bit more evasive. She said the hoh is “a horrible task wrapped up in a pretty package.” (She’s not wrong)

Joseph suggested Chelsie and maybe Quinn toT’kor but she shut that down. You can’t blame a guy for trying since he really wants Chelsie out. He also talked to Rubina about how they’d have the votes to keep Tucker if he was a pawn. (We all need a friend like Joe, right?)

Kimo told Tucker that Joseph told Leah about the Underdog alliance. (Not sure how Kimo knew) Joseph was also too obvious to T’kor over trying to protect Leah. He does need to look out for her because she’s probably his best path to the end but damn dude, don’t be so obvious!

Quinn was supportive and was just happy to be safe. When he heard about MJ still going on about Angela, he said she was stuck in week 2. (He’s also not wrong)

Tucker cried (just a tad) and told her he was proud of her. He said she was amazing and lots of other complimentary things. (He really is her biggest fan) It doesn’t matter, she still wants him gone soon. He told her he’d rather not be a pawn but talked like he would if she needed him to do it.

Rubina was supportive and happy for her too. T’kor told her she won on accident. (I’m glad T’kor won. I want to see how she handles it when she can’t hide behind Kimo)

I don’t blame her for not wanting it because she’d be better off. From conversations, it sounded like everyone went nuts when she won. When the entire house is happy for you and you’re in a good place with everyone, you don’t want to be the hoh. (Her social game is great!) On the other hand, if she makes it to the end, it’s good she has an hoh under her crocheted belt.

Cam asked T’kor if he would’ve gone home if he and Chelsie had stayed on the block. T’kor admitted that he would’ve been evicted. Cam said he’d thought that’s what would’ve happened. I think her honesty in this situation may help her with Cam later on.

Cam and Chelsie talked about the best way to get Tucker out. Chelsie said she’s pretty sure T’kor won’t go after him this week. Cam said he’ll make a F2 with Tucker and try to get info from him. He’s hoping to use the info to get Tucker backdoored to this week. (Look who decided to play BB! I don’t see it working, but I appreciate his effort.)

MJ speculated about the noms to Chelsie. She said she assumed T’kor would put up people she didn’t talk much game with but she didn’t seem to realize she was one of those people. MJ also brought up the Underdog alliance and Chelsie said she assumed that was also blown up. She said Joseph didn’t look happy when T’kor won. (I think MJ talks about this all the time because it’s the only info in the house she’s ever found out)

A couple random tidbits:
Leah asked Joseph why his memory wall pic made him look like a magician. He said “let me show you how to make an alliance disappear.” (I don’t care ya’ll. I like Joseph)

MJ doing a backbend in the bathroom for Quinn and Leah:

For now, it’s sounds like both MJ and Cam may be nominated. T’kor may try to get Tucker to volunteer too. If not, it could be Leah as the 3rd nom. I know some of you want her to go after Tucker but I don’t see it happening yet. (I also don’t think it’s a good idea for her game)

There’s been some frustration over him winning so many comps and I get it. I don’t like to see one person win over and over either but I see it as a trade off. Since BB16, we’ve watched the same game almost every season, just with different faces. I can handle Tucker being a comp beast (for a while) if it means seeing the game played differently.

Tommy from BB21 is an example. He posted a video saying he was frustrated at the way Tucker was playing. He said “there’s a formula” for playing and winning BB and Tucker was going against it. (volunteering for the block, using the veto on someone else, calling out all the alliances in public, etc)

What Tommy doesn’t get is that “the formula” has been the problem for the last decade. (He also lost so what does Tommy know? Then again, I’ve never played so what do I know?) In my opinion, Tucker isn’t breaking the game. It was already broken because Derrick broke it in BB16. Personally, I don’t want Derrick’s BB16 formula anymore. (get in a big alliance, make a smaller one within it, make sure you have the comp people, control the vote until it’s too late)

I’d rather have people play badly but at least be unpredictable and I’m enjoying the season so far. Besides, no one has ever been able to comp out from week 2. Even doing it from the final 6 or 7 is almost impossible so I don’t see Tucker doing it this year. We’re only in week 5 so I’m not worrying about that just yet. For now, I’m entertained and that’s enough for me.

Alrighty, I’m gonna wrap this up and get started on my “go, go, go, go, go, go shorty, its your birthday.” (If you have ‘In Da Club’ stuck in your head today, you’re welcome) Yes, I also know that’s early 2000’s but whatever!) Noms are later today and I hope everyone has a great weekend!
