Good morning BB Junkies, it was another eventful weekend. This cast may not be good at the game but they stay very busy at it. Before I get into the recap, I wanted to thank Kari for her donation to my coffee fund on Friday. Thank you so much! I should’ve already messaged you privately but I may have been a tad hungover…..ya, it was a good party!
Last nights episode was a little weak but it’s because they’ve been good lately by comparison. They’ve been entertaining and the edits have been accurate for the most part. I feel I complain about that most seasons so I wanted to point out that I’ve been impressed with the episodes this year. Even last night’s included some funny material.
The line of people following T’kor through the house was good. I also like the segment with Kimo singing.

My favorite was Angela coming to the hoh room crying and asking if she was going home this week. (Haha, she’s a mess!)

Angela takes alot of crap for being an emotional and paranoid player but if I’m fair, she IS picking up on some real things. She recently told Tucker she didn’t think Kimo and T’kor liked her. Well? She’s not wrong. They don’t. They don’t want to work with her and she can pick up on that when she talks to them. (Tucker could benefit from a bit of Angela’s paranoia)

T’kor had the right instinct when she didn’t want the hoh. (If the entire house is excited for you and half of them are in tears, you shouldn’t have won it) I think she’s also made a mistake by telling everyone she has good relationships with everyone in the house. She does, but why say that to everyone? It won’t hurt her this week but how much longer until somebody remembers that when they’re trying to figure out who to put on the block?

After Tucker and Angela are gone, I’ll be surprised if Timo arn’t the next targets. They’re the most obvious duo and everyone likes them. With Tucker, gone, Rubina makes them a trio that stands out more too. Since we don’t know how long they’ll continue to do 3 noms, what do they thinks gonna happen?

The AI Instigator made the first appearance in the form of a Quinn hologram. (I thought it was Joseph all weekend) We learned from the episode that it’s Tucker.

Since Rubina cried over it, I’m guessing Tucker realized he didn’t do a great job on the first try at it. I’m just glad America’s vote finally involve something that isn’t super game changing. It’s also obvious, this entire thing is just so they could use the twist Quinn screwed up. They couldn’t have Quinn do it since he told people about his power up.

T’kor nominated Cam, MJ and Tucker volunteered so he was the 3rd nominee. This was the first time he didn’t actually want to go on the block, but volunteered because he’d offered it to other people. He told Kimo he didn’t think she’d put him up.

MJ thought she’d talked her way out of going up to T’kor. MJ clings to whoever the hoh is and it’s possible the house has started seeing it. That’s not really why she went on the block but T’kor has to notice it right? Timo became suspicious of Tucker last week because of the time he spent with Leah and MJ. I thought they might see why once it happened with T’kor too.

MJ was surprised she went up and said she didn’t know why she was a big target. She said she was a lone wolf and didn’t have anyone. She asked “how did I become such a big target?” This is the same MJ who spent all last week telling everyone she and Tucker were the biggest threats in the game. She’s also said she’s the biggest comp threat besides Tucker. (Ya, I don’t know how she ended up on the block, do you?) She camera talked about how Matt hurt her game and complained more about Angela still being there.

Cam decided to finally play the game after surviving the block. He made his fake final 2 with Tucker. He hoped to gain info and use it against Tucker to get him evicted this week. He also told Chelsie she needed to go back to spending time with Leah and said they’d need her. (They will)

The veto comp was the one with prizes and punishments. MJ won a vacation and T’kor got 5k. (Tucker gave the 5k to T’kor and took the punishment) Joseph has 24 hrs of solitary confinement and Tucker has to wear a costume all week and be the AI Assistant.

Angela had an all night punishment, walking back and forth picking stuff up and putting it in a barrel with a grabber and…..Cam won the veto.

Most of them stayed outside to cheer on Angela since her punishment went all through the night. T’kor gave her a pep talk at one point that made her cry.

Angela finally finished.

They even made a hand tunnel for her to run through at the end.

Leah also decided to start playing the game harder this weekend too. After realizing she could be a replacement nom, she woke up a bit. Joseph and Quinn both put in work to keep Leah off the block. They both also wanted to brag to her that they’d succeeded.

Joesph ruined it by also telling her he’d vote her out over Tucker if they were both on the block. (What is wrong with this cast and big mouths?) This lit a fire under her and she woke up still complaining about it. She had two main talking points over the weekend.

First, she thinks the guys are running the house and they’re going to try to take out the women. Second, she thinks she’s T’kor’s best friend and said Kimo and Rubina were influencing T’kor’s decisions. (No clue why she thinks she’s T’kors BFF) She seemed genuinely annoyed and confused as to why they were in the hoh room so much.

MJ and Leah talked game with Chelsie but Chelsie didn’t say too much. She was able to just sit there and take it all in. MJ is still obsessed over the underdog alliance that’s basically not a thing. She’s also still talking about week 1 with Angela bringing her into the argument with Matt. She doesn’t think it’s fair Angela’s being protected by Tucker.

Both MJ and Leah want Rubina out too. Leah’s told people she only wants Rubina to play her own game. (No, Leah’s pissed Rubina had a shomance with Tucker) She’s not admitting this but she has admitted she’s pissed at Tucker for telling her he wasn’t interested in Rubina. (It shouldn’t be lost on anyone that MJ and Leah stopped being misted by Tucker right after they found out tucker liked Rubina) Oh well, that’s bad on Tucker. He knew what those ladies were up to and he knew he needed to keep stringing them along. He didn’t and this is the cost.

Anyway, MJ and Leah spilled all of this and more to Chelsie. MJ also told them she’d put up T’kor, Kimo and Rubina if she won the next hoh. Leah, who’d been mad at Chelsie, is back to trying to work with her again. (Leah found out the mean stuff Chelsie had said about her) Chelsie said maybe they could get rid of Tucker this week and warned Leah that anything she told T’kor would get back to Kimo. ( How is Leah the only person in the house who doesn’t realize Timo are close?)

Leah’s gone back to talking to Cam again too. Both Tucker and T’kor told Cam he would’ve been voted out over Chelsie. They told him this after the live show on Thursday. Leah actually gave him a heads up before the show. She told him she thought people would try to vote him out if he was up there against Chelsie. I think this may have built back a little trust between them.

Last week was all about the Tucker cult. MJ, Leah, Joseph, Kimo, Angela and Rubina were all trying to protect him. This week is turning into the Leah posse. Joseph, Quinn and Cam are falling all over themselves trying to keep her off the block. Quinn camera talked about not wanting Leah on the block and said it HAD to be Angela. Meanwhile, Leah was trying to get Quinn up as the replacement. (Haha)
Angela made herself a meat and cheese plate this weekend. She gave a “cheers to Brooklyn” as she ate it too. (I like these petty moments)

T’kor, Kimo and Rubina agonized over T’kors nom choices. With Cam winning the veto, it started all over again. They spent the first part of the weekend working on who their ‘real alliance’ would be. They want the 3 of them plus Chelsie and Quinn. Kimo & Rubina also wants to keep Tucker longer but T’kor doesn’t. (She may not be saying it but T’kor wants Tucker to ‘accidentally’ go home this week. She just doesn’t want it to be her fault to Rubina or Kimo)

Timo and Rubina are annoyed with all the side deals Tucker’s been making. They said they wanted to get the truth out of him. They want him to understand he can’t “double dip.” T’kor nodded along to all of this talk but I don’t think she cares. I don’t think she cares if he’s loyal to them or not. T’kor wants to work with the people she likes and that’s not Tucker. She just doesn’t like him as much as he likes her and that’s that.

Both MJ and Leah had conversations with Angela about Tucker. Between these convo and Angela being sleep deprived, week 1 Angela came back. She walked into a room with Quinn, Leah and MJ and announced she thinks they should take out Tucker. She said he’s an actor and thinks he’s faking everything with her.

Right before this, Angela was telling Tucker she didn’t want Leah to go up. Tucker said he had Angela’s back if she went up. (I may have missed something, but I didn’t think Tucker was aware that Angela might be a renom at that time) I know Kimo stupidly told Angela it was possible. That may have been where this all started but it doesn’t explain why her anger was directed at Tucker. (You can’t blame Angela for freaking out she might go up if she’s in a 6 person alliance with the HOH)

The backyard was opened up again and Tucker and Rubina took a little nap. I might be a Tucker fan but I can recognize dumb decisions. I guess I get it with Tucker since he’s already a huge target but why make it bigger? I don’t wanna hear any more victim noises out of Rubina either if she ends up targeted over it.

Leah worked on her bestie T’kor some more trying to avoid being the renom. T’kor said Tucker and MJ would be bigger targets than whoever she put up as the replacement nom. (Well, that probably wasn’t very reassuring)
Timo said they feel good about the Viaionaries alliance with Quinn again. Remember, Quinn was trying to show them he was loyal by telling them about all the side alliances he was making. It backfired and it just made him seem sketchy. Getting back in with Quinn is one reason T’kor’s reluctant to use Leah as a renom. She knows Quinn is really against it. (It should be funny after the season when Tucker finds out why they rejected Visionaries as a name for their alliance)

Before the veto was played, T’kor said if Cam or MJ won it, Leah would be the replacement. If Tucker won, she was planning on pawning someone in their alliance. (Angela) I don’t know why but this was the plan. After Cam won the veto, the indecisiveness started all over again.
I’ve gotten annoyed with Timo for not being able to make a decision. At the time I started writing this, they were STILL awake going back and forth between Leah and Angela as the renom. It’s true that it takes them forever but I AM going to cut T’kor a bit of slack this 1 time.

She had a lot of stuff thrown at her this weekend and most of it was comical. You’ve got Joseph, Quinn and Cam fighting to keep Leah off the block. Angela even got in on it and told T’kor she really didn’t want to see Leah up there. MJ is pushing her to put up Angela and Tucker is pushing for it to be Leah. She’s also trying to juggle the alliance she’s in, along with the alliance she WANTS to be in.

Quinn spilled what Angela said about Tucker to T’kor. She’s keeping her feelings to herself but at least she finally knows. (She didn’t think Angela could’ve ever been a vote against Tucker) It’s obvious T’kor wouls prefer to put up Angela but the 6th Avenue alliance is whats holding her back. She may not want the alliance but for right now, she’s in it. Quinn said he’d tell Tucker that Angela had turned against him and then maybe Tucker would be okay with Angela going up.

Kimo pushed back against Angela a bit. He thinks it’s better to keep Angela in the house so MJ has a target. (I agree) They don’t know how important this is because Chelsie lied to T’kor. Chelsie knows both MJ and Cam would put them on the block. When T’kor talked about it to Chelsie, she lied and gave T’kor different names.

MJ told Tucker about Angela saying she wanted to target him. Tucker told Rubina and said he wasn’t convinced it was the truth. Rubina told T’kor and T’kor said she’d heard the same thing from Quinn. Kimo and Rubina wondered when they should tell Tucker that it’s true.

Timo and Rubina finally got their chance to question Tucker. He denied a final 2 with Angela, but told them Cam tried to make one with him. (I’m almost positive he’d already told Kimo about the one with Cam) It seemed they were ready to get rid of Angela but Tucker said he’d like to talk to her first. He plans to do it this morning. (This could be a fun day!)

They disagreed over who was a bigger threat. Kimo thinks Angela should go and Tucker thinks Leah should go. Timo asked about Joseph being loyal while Tucker thinks the 6 of them could make it to the end together. (That’s the problem Tucker, they don’t want you there)

After Timo were alone again, it went round and round forever, as I mentioned before. They’ve gone over every possible scenario and which move could hurt them the least. T’kor doesn’t want to damage her relationship with Leah. Kimo thinks Leah going up will upset the least amount of people. (I agree)

See, this one’s a little tricky because technically, they’re in the 6th Avenue alliance with Angela and Joseph. However, Joseph’s fighting hard to keep Leah off the block. He’s also been in solitary so they haven’t been able to ask him about it. I don’t think they realize Joseph would probably push for Angela to go up just like Quinn’s been doing. Kimo pointed out there might be less hell to pay if Leah goes up and I completely agree with that too.

That’s basically it for the recap but here are a few of my own observations. In spite of Tucker, Kimo and Rubina all offering to go up as pawns for T’kor, this house is selfish. We don’t usually get that in a house full of bad players. They’re all selfish and hypocrites which usually is linked to good players.

I don’t enjoy the kind of hypocrites who are mean-spirited but talk in the DR like they’re innocent. These people are hypocrites over the game and that’s different. Timo wants to have side deals with other people but they’re pissed off Tucker might have the same thing. It’s the same way Tucker wanted to blow up Quinn’s game for having side deals but began almost immediately making his own. (‘Its fine for me but not for you’ is good game play if you can get away with it) I’m good with that kind of selfishness.

It’s ironic that one of the issues Timo has with Tucker is him being unpredictable. I don’t think they see how they may be viewed the same way. Timo wants to blow up every alliance they have as soon as they make it. I get it, T’kor is trying to find ‘her perfect alliance’ but this isn’t the way to go about it. They blew up the Collective, outed the Pentagon and almost lost Quinn with the Visionaries. They want out of 6th Avenue and don’t want the Friendzzz alliance with Tucker and Rubina. Why do they think people will trust them on down the road?

As for more people playing alike that don’t see it, what about Tucker and Angela? Neither of them can keep their mouths shut. They both run with any info they get almost immediately. Angela and Tucker are practically the same person in the game. One is just into charcuterie and the other is into Rubina.

I think it’s important most people in the house take Tucker out as soon as possible. I don’t think that applies to Timo. I think they become big targets as soon as he’s gone. I know they can’t take him to the end because he’ll beat them but they need to get to the end. I think they’d have an easier time getting closer to it with Tucker there to win comps for a bit longer.

They still need to get past Quinn, Cam and Chelsie. Leah and MJ have also done well in comps. If they think all those people are going to be loyal to them and leave them in the house as a duo, I think they’re wrong. I acknowledge it’s tricky and a bit scary to keep Tucker too long. I could just see T’kor regretting choosing her alliance solely based on people she likes. Chelsie isn’t loyal to her. Tucker is but if he can’t convince her of it, that’s on Tucker, I suppose.

Some Random Tidbits:
Kimo thought it was a good idea to study days with Tucker and Cam. He also explained how Otev worked and some other game info they didn’t know. (Sure Kimo, give away any advantage you might have to win comps!)

Joseph and Quinn have gone back to talking more game again. They both have a crush on Leah but so far, I guess they’re both ok with it. They joked around over how bad Tucker is at the game. Joseph said “going on the block as a pawn doesn’t build a resume.” He said “it just makes you stupid.” (In fairness, I’ve never heard Tucker say it did. I’ve heard both Rubina and Cedric say it tho) Joseph also warned Quinn he didn’t think Quinn would be able to get back in good with Tucker. (Joseph should be careful talking about bad players. He thinks he’s got AFP wrapped up, may want to take Tucker to a F2 and even thought he might get Rubina’s vote over Tucker)

The main suspects for being the AI Inatigator round the house are Quinn, Joseph and Angela.
For some reason, the announcement of the AI Investigator prompted Joseph to tell people he thinks he has a good shout at AFP. Tucker was surprised to find out we voted on a favorite player at the end of the season.

Kimo suggested they finally tell Quinn all the mean things Leah said about him. He thought this could change his mind about Quinn not wanting her on the block. Here’s the problem, they let this go on way too long. They should’ve told him way earlier. He and T’kor were both aware of the things Leah was saying. They’re also aware Quinn talked to Leah about it after he found out from someone else. On top of that, they know Leah denied it all and Quinn believed her. (They don’t think Quinn’s gonna wonder why they sat quiet all this time?)

The veto ceremony will be later today and there may some good fallout from it. Either Leah or Angela are gonna be pissed. Tucker’s also planning on confronting Angela this morning about wanting him out. Based on the time right now, it could already be happening as I’m wrapping this up. Ya’ll have a great Monday!
