Good morning, the past couple of days can only be described as projection and denial. It’s what quite a few of them are suffering from this week. Sorry in advance for another long one. I’m always finding things I want to include and I’ve realized, I may not know the meaning of the word editing. Here’s the recap of the veto meeting, the rest of Monday and the house activity for Tuesday.

Early Monday morning, (after the late night convo with Leah) MJ and Chelsie decided to tell Quinn he’d be going otb before the veto meeting. MJ barely got a chance to speak to him after they woke up. Chelsie talked to him for a few minutes. She told him Leah had been up in the hoh room the night before throwing him under the bus for hours. She also said MJ was using the veto and the renom would either be Rubina, Leah or Quinn. He immediately tried to get her to put up Rubina.

The feeds went down for the veto meeting during their talk and when they came back, MJ had used the veto on Angela and Quinn was otb. (Angela broke a record by having the veto used on her 3 times in one season)
Angela with the Lays:

Remember way back to week 1, right after Matt’s eviction? This was MJ and Leah talking shit in the bathroom as the live show ended. They were talking about how they were going to get revenge on Angela. Fast forward all these weeks and they’ve both used a veto on her in back to back weeks. (Haha)

Sorry folks, Angela’s gonna be around at least 1 more week:

We learned Leah had gone downstairs and given Quinn a warning before going to bed. (After her talk with Chelsie and MJ) Quinn wanting to talk to Chelsie as soon as they got up on Monday wasn’t a coincidence. After the veto meeting, Quinn seemed stunned and Leah was pissed.

I mentioned in the Monday recap that Leah picked up on how weird Chelsie and MJ were acting up in the hoh room. (I can’t remember how Leah worded it but both of them were talking to Leah like she was in a police interrogation. They seemed overly hyped and kept trying to have a gotcha moment with Leah) They said things like “This is what happens when people try to lie to the two people in power this week.”

Chelsie and MJ had already decided to put Quinn on the block but wanted to blame it on Leah and Quinn told Leah that Chelsie was blaming her. (Chelsie told this to everyone except Leah. She’d told Leah it was Angela’s fault) Leah said they’d twisted her words and she called MJ a puppet.

When MJ talked to Leah, (and Quinn later) she said she didn’t know who Chelsie was going to put up and acted like she didn’t know it was going to be Quinn. This made absolutely no sense, but either Leah fell for it or she’s pretending she did. It had only been a few hours since Leah was in the hoh room and BOTH MJ And Chelsie were talking like Quinn had been exposed for some big crime.

Not only that, why would MJ use a veto if she didn’t know whe would go up? Worse, she despises Angela but she chose to use it on Angela??? Chelsie had also told Quinn, Leah may go up so if MJ knew that too, why use the veto? They either wanted to believe her because they’re desperate or they don’t and have to think she’s an idiot. I know MJ did this so she could look innocent but it just made her look like she IS a puppet. (That won’t getcha’ those jury votes MJ)

Rubina, who had just found out her name had was thrown into it, went to console Quinn. (Chelsie told her about Leah saying Rubina was trying to work with Quinn) She told Quinn she was sorry he was otb but couldn’t say much else. He knows she’s voting to keep Kimo. (It didn’t help she used the baby voice) Quinn was polite but wasn’t in the mood. (He’s mistakenly blaming Rubina, in part, for being otb)
Rubina with a trick shot?

He mumbled to himself after their talk about Rubina playing tonsil hockey and how she should go talk to her boyfriend about why his game was in shambles. (Haha) Quinn had a bit of misplaced anger.

You’ve got to look at it from his perspective, even if he’s wrong. He thinks his game was blown up by T’kor and Kimo for the sole purpose of saving Rubina. The 3 of them became the triplets soon after. This meant Quinn was also replaced by Rubina as their 3rd so no more Visionaries. Next, Rubina hooks up with the guy who kept trying to destroy Quinns game and Tucker became their 4th. (That’s not exactly accurate but I think it’s how Quinn sees it) On top of that, he can’t admit Leah hurt his game, not this far into it. He’s otb and she’s all he has left.

Almost as soon as the veto meeting ended, MJ began talking about maybe wanting to keep Quinn. Quinn played dead and did a good job convincing MJ he’d be loyal to the 5 when they spoke. (The 5 he wanted to make last week with Chelsie, Cam, MJ, Leah and T’kor. That’s actually 6 because in some conversations he included Leah and others, he didn’t.)

MJ asked Chelsie about it and she played along. She went through the pros and cons and had to be secretly wondering if MJ had been dropped on her head at some point. Chelsie gets there’s no coming back from it but MJ didn’t.

Later, Chelsie camera talked and said she be fine if Quinn stayed. She said she liked him as a person. Quinn even joined in her “tv show” to the cameras and she talked him up alot.

I’ve been thinking Chelsie lies to the live feeders for a while now but wasn’t sure. (I’m sure now) I don’t think she understands how the live feeds work. A couple days before, she told us all about OTEV and talked as if we didn’t know who won it or their plan for the week. She also told us (before noms) she had no idea who the replacement would be if she needed one. This was right after her comvo with T’kor, when she said she’d put Leah up. (It was when they’d landed on Leah for a few hours) Anyway, I always wonder how a player thinks the live feeds work when they have camera talks and flat out lie to us.
Chelsie and Leah having a serious game talk, Chelsie farted and they both fell over laughing. (This was before veto day):

Chelsie did a good job of poisoning the way people look at Leah on Monday. The T’kor trio already didn’t like the way she’s talked about Quinn in the past. Rubina’s mad after finding out Leah tried to bring her name up Sunday night. It didn’t take much to fully turn them against her. There was a brief time last week when Leah gained some respect from them for playing her own game (when she used the veto on Angela) but that’s over.

I think it’s because of this that everyone wants to punish both Leah and Quinn. They want to punish her for talking about him behind his back. They want to punish him for not believing them when they tried to warn him.(You can barely call it a warning tho since T’kor didn’t say much and Kimo said nothing) It’s not enough that Quinn’s otb and going to jury. Most of the hg’s are annoyed with Quinn because he isn’t mad at Leah.

Rubina was especially weird about it. She had a long chat with Quinn later asking about his feelings towards Leah. She was trying to get him to see he should be mad at her. (It was strange) I think Rubina’s projecting a little too, the way Quinn’s doing with her. She’s mad at Leah but isn’t confrontational so I think she’s trying to get her payback thru Quinn.

Leah continued to hide out in the bedroom for the rest of the day. Quinn on the other hand, socialized and hung out in the backyard. This only gave everyone more fuel against Leah. T’kor, Chelsie, MJ and Rubina all made comments about how Leah made the day about herself instead of Quinn. Leah did the wrong thing by not coming out and faking it but it wouldn’t have mattered.

Chelsie has them convinced Leah caused their friend Quinn to be on the block. You know, their friend, the friend they’d planned to target this week if they’d won the hoh. (They were going to find something to be mad at Leah over no matter what)

Leah finally talked to Angela and she denied throwing Leah under the bus. Angela said she barely mentioned Leah and she’d only said things about Quinn. Leah cried and said she couldn’t believe Angela would do that to her.

Angela, who didn’t like being blamed for something she absolutely started, went to talk to Chelsie. Chelsie tried to blow Angela off at first and said she was over it. Angela kept at it so they went to the hoh room to talk. Chelsie told her she didn’t have anything to do with Quinn going up. She said Leah was up in the hoh all night trying to get Quinn put up and it was Leah’s fault. She also said if Angela and Leah had an issue, it didn’t have anything to do with her.

When Angela and Leah talked again, Leah said she still cared about her but said to stop throwing her under the bus. Angela said she’d only say good things about Leah from now on. (Sure) Leah explained how Chelsie and T’kor had the game locked down and said they needed Quinn. Angela was beginning to be convinced too. (Who knows?) Leah said if she won the next hoh, she’d put Chelsie and T’kor otb together and let all their puppets fight it out. (Not her exact words) Angela agreed to do the same. (This is that long lasting loyalty MJ and Chelsie thought they’d be getting from Angela)

As a way to make it up to Leah or because she’d really been convinced, Angela agreed to vote for Quinn to stay. (You couldn’t write this shit if you were trying to create a story) Angela said Quinn would have to promise not to put her otb but said she could see why they needed to keep him now. Leah said they’d also need Cam and MJ’s votes but thought she had MJ’s. (Oh my dear Leah, get out of those pj’s and get some fresh air)
Side Note:
Leah plans to talk to Chelsie about lying on her to everyone but it’s similar to when Angela confronted Chelsie. Both Leah and Angela have the same problem. Even though Leah wasn’t trying to get Quinn on the block and it IS a lie, she HAS done it in the past. She was even doing it Sunday night until she realized what they were doing. Once she saw they were going to target Quinn, she did try to backtrack. However, she really has trashed Quinn to anyone who would listen for weeks. As for Angela, she DID include Leah when she told Chelsie she overheard Quinn trying to make an alliance. They can only push a convo with Chelsie so far because everyone (including Chelsie) has too much dirt on both of them. It’s why they can’t fully call Chelsie out in my opinion.

With some really bad judgement, Leah talked to MJ about all of this too. Remember, MJ’s pretending she wants to keep Quinn. (Well, she actually did until Chelsie set her straight again) Leah told her about Angela being willing to vote to keep Quinn and how she’d put Chelsie and T’kor on the block. She also told MJ that T’kor was Chelsie’s real number one, not MJ. She practically begged MJ not to say anything to anyone and told her she knew MJ had ratted her out before. She asked her not to do it this time. MJ agreed to keep Quinn and they talked about how to pull Cam away from Chelsie.
Side Note:
MJ’s enjoying finally feeling like she’s got some power. She doesn’t realize and neither does Cam that they’re Kimo and Rubina. They’re Chelsie’s shields, the same way Rubina and Kimo are T’kors. I guess there’s a chance MJ and Cam can just win all the comps from here but this was a terrible move for both of them.

To prove this point, T’kor, Rubina and Kimo began talking about MJ and Cam. T’kor was wondering if they should really go after Leah and Angela next. She knows they may be easier to beat moving forward so maybe MJ and Cam need to go. Obviously, her trio will still protect Chelsie, but the other two, maybe not. (Chelsie did a good job trashing Leah to them so that may be the only thing to prevent it. They don’t like Leah anymore and Rubina really doesn’t)

The only other things to mention from Monday are a few of the fish died. (I think the filter on the tank stopped working during the power outage over the weekend. I bet Tucker’s pissed)
They had a talent show. This is Rubina break dancing:

Cam showed off his singing and dancing:

T’kor and MJ made dinner since Leah hid out in the bedroom. Chelsie, who I’ve never seen cook, was quick to criticize the meal. (Haha) T’kor mentioned how she’d made dinner several times and Rubina kept reminding her that MJ helped. (Maybe it’s my imagination, but I’ve been sensing a little irritation from Rubina towards T’kor. Maybe she’s not that happy to be a shield after all?)

Chelsie slipped up several times with T’kor, MJ and Quinn. She even accidentally told MJ that she was the closest to T’kor. She tried to fix it with a delayed “except for you.” (MJ’s in denial so it went over her head) She just talked too much this week and began contradicting herself alot. So far, no one acts like they’ve picked up on it tho.

Tuesday was more of a chill day. Quinn dressed as a hobo and begged for votes. He took his jar around to everyone, they tossed trinkets into it and it gave all of them a laugh.

My favorite was when he got to Kimo. Kimo asked if he could take a couple of them out to keep for himself. Quinn mentioned Jace in BB5 doing something similar. (He did, he was evicted anyway and was the victim of the first ever backdoor plan. Just a bit of trivia for ya)

I enjoyed it and thought it was cute. In typical Quinn fashion, he carried on with it for way too long. I liked his strategy of keeping everyone laughing and reminding them why they like him. (He said he plans to do serious campaigning today)
Is this the Bible alliance?

Right on schedule, MJ told Chelsie and Cam everything Leah said to her the night before. (No reason to keep a weapon for yourself MJ!) When MJ said the plan was to work on Cam for his vote, he said they couldn’t get it.

MJ said she wasn’t worried about Angela and said “All I have to do is have one conversation with her and I’ll have her back in line.” After thinking about it a bit more, she also said “maybe I’ll let Angela and Leah go ahead and vote for Quinn to say.” (She needs to flatten those curls because I don’t know how she’s fitting her head thru the door this week)

Leah finally came out of the bedroom early in the day to hang out with everyone. They sang some BB songs they’d made up and got a “stop that.” It confused them because they were allowed to sing them Monday night. (People on different shifts have a different tolerance, I suppose)

After feeling ‘unwelcome vibes’ Leah scrambled back to her bedroom hide out. Later, when some of them hung out in the hoh room, Quinn came down and asked her to join. She said she didn’t want to, but she did for him. It was a bad call on Quinns part since Leah monopolized the conversation. (Leah and Angela) After she left, there was a brand new round of what a piece shit Leah is as a person. (For once, Angela was telling an interesting story about an old boyfriend. I actually wanted to hear the end of it but the feeds switched it off)

T’kor was finally allowed to take out her braids so Kimo and Rubina went to work on them. (It’s an hours long process) Leah tried to join in the convs with them by mentioning how T’kors hair was longer than hers. Kimo sort of snapped back with “it’s not a competition.” (T’kor didn’t speak to her at all) Being able to read a room, Leah headed back to her hide out.

Cam and Chelsie got in on the hair project too.

Even Leah tried again and had better success this time around.

Some of them gave group massages:

T’kor side eyed Cam and MJ during theirs.

Cam, Kimo and Rubina performed the New Girl dance. (Cam’s said it was his favorite show. I loved it too!)

They acted out commercials and soap operas:

There was even some time for tin foil hats:

Like I said, it was a chill day.

T’kor mentioned to Rubina that she’sd like Leah to go on the block, even if she’s not the target. T’kor said she wants to be the last one nominated. (Don’t blame her)

Kimo began to worry about going to the F6 with MJ and Cam. In spite of this, they got together in the hoh room and faked it I guess.

T’kor, Rubina and MJ talked about a F4 with them and Chelsie. They said there will only be 2 men left after Thursday. MJ brought up how 2 women have never made the F2 before and they were excited about it. (She’s not the only one who says this, Rubina has too. They would be wrong. Not only has it happened, it’s happened more than once)

Leah cried to Quinn in the bedroom. She said she knew no one liked her and it was hard for her to be around them knowing it. He tried to pep her up and thanked her for working to try and save him this week. He called her “a cool guy.”

It’s ironic how they’ve gotten closer the past couple of weeks. She finally needs and wants him in the game but he’s leaving. She’s also talked a lot about how she shouldn’t have used that veto last week and lost Joseph. (I still say it was the right move. She just needed to be honest with Quinn, tell him she was doing it ahead of time and convince him to put someone else on the block besides Joseph!)

I said last week it was going to be a battle of the trios. With Joseph’s eviction, one of them has been decimated. After Thursday, Leah will be the only one left in hers.

Quinn loves being there and he’s not giving up but he’s cooked. Unless something crazy happens, (and with this cast it could) we finally know ahead of time who is probably being evicted.

Now its gonna be T’kor’s vs Chelsie’s trios. Hopefully it’s going to stay interesting because we’re watching something sort of new. It’s the leaders (for lack of a better word) of two trios working together to keep each other safe. At the same time, they’ll be wanting to take out the other ones shields along the way.

That could be cool to see but what I really want to see is a Leah hoh. It’s only partially because she’s the new underdog. It’s mostly because I think her plan would make for the most interesting game. T’kor vs Chelsie otb could turn into everyone looking out for themselves.
Quinn and Angela are being nice to each other again since they have to for now. Remember them making their F2 the first week? After making the BB Guns alliance, it’s been an up hill struggle for Quinn. You can’t really blame Angela, Leah or even Tucker. Quinn’s made a lot of mistakes in the game and that’s why he’s probably going to jury.

Some Quotes:
Rubina to Cam: “Do you like it with the lights on or off?” Cam: “I don’t care. I’ll do it with the blinds open.”
Cam to Chelsie: ” Shout out to Angela, if that was a move…..it was a hell of a job.”
Angela to herself: “I clear rooms everywhere I go.”
Angela to herself (after the veto meeting): “You can’t kill me, just like you can’t kill those ants.”
Angela to herself (about T’kor): “You don’t win big brother by sandwiching yourself between two people who are protecting you.” (Actually Angela, that’s exactly how you win Big Brother)
I hope these recaps aren’t too confusing on the days some of my images don’t match up to what I’m writing. I do my best but I collect screenshots for a couple of days ahead of writing it. I’m basically trying to guess in advance what I’m going to be talking about and hoping I have images to match. As you can see, it doesn’t always work out. Have a great Wednesday!
