Well, feeds have finally returned and I don’t even know what to think right now.
Did we just witness the all-time blunder of Big Brother? I am trying to think of positives, but every time I go down a path, I can’t see any. And look, this isn’t about Rachel. Well, it is, but it isn’t. This is just a fumble on so many levels.
I’ll go through each of these:
No Sunday Episode
I mean, this is straight up a terrible decision to do such a game move and not have another episode until Tuesday. That’s just insane thinking. This is regardless of who went home. How are you going to evict someone off-camera? I don’t remember this ever happening, and to make it happen without a Sunday episode. Bad.
Yes, people have been kicked off. We’ve seen all that. There have been times where feeds go down and someone isn’t there when they return. Rare, but happens. But this is the first time I can remember they had a planned eviction and didn’t show on CBS first. It’s like killing the main character of a movie off-screen.

Rachel Contract?
Now, this one is pure speculation but people are saying she had a contract until jury. If true, this is absolutely ridiculous to even agree to from a production standpoint. However, she made it very clear that she isn’t going to jury. I know everyone says this, but the way she said it was just weird. Like she knew something we didn’t.
If this is the case, that is so unfair to the house – unless, her contract was simply she is not going to the jury house. Maybe she’s allowed to go home because she’s a veteran and may be able to judge fairly, but that’s like impossible. Right? How can she go home and see all the plotting and scheming and be on the same level as the other jurors?
No Vote Eviction
Now, if she didn’t have that in the contract, that is still brutal to have her go spend her anniversary in the jury house alone after a potentially no-vote eviction. Wouldn’t production think this may have been the worst case scenario? Yea, no-vote evictions are tough to swallow on opening night, but day 58 or so? And to a legend of the game?
This would be regardless of who went home. It’s just brutal. I don’t like it. I really hope they have some way to make it look better than it sounds, but again, we won’t know until Tuesday.

Plan All Along?
Let’s pretend this was the plan. She was set to be the person to leave this competition, meaning she knew well in advance and no other players were ever in danger of the no-vote eviction. Like all part of the twist. She came in as a twist and left as a twist. But, what about the last two months?
You can’t just toss a player in the game for 2 months, have them make alliances, be the driving force behind getting some people out, actually winning HoH and evicting. But I mean, twists have gotten players out before, so I guess it’s not that crazy if it was the plan all along.
We’ve had countless players over the years get evicted over a twist. Technically, anyone who was supposed to go home but got saved by the blockbuster means someone else went home over a twist.
