Big Brother 27 – Quick Saturday Update 8/2

Good morning, everyone!

It’s Saturday in the Big Brother house, which means it is time for the veto competition!

It’s a big competition for anyone on the block as they all have a pretty equal chance of going home this week. Despite what they are telling them, nobody is ‘safe’. They have been preaching to Kelley that she is safe and only want her on the block to beat Keanu in the blockbuster, but they have said the same thing to Kelley over and over so it’s hard to trust them at this point.

In the event that Keanu wins blockbuster, what then? They have been itching to get Kelley out for weeks and they’re going to pass up the opportunity to get her out? Unlikely. Rylie may be the safest one on the block, but that isn’t saying a whole lot. It’s not exactly like he’s Will vs Amy. I’d probably put the odds of people going home at:

Keanu – 40%
Kelley – 35%
Rylie – 25%

Now, things will get really interesting if one of them win POV. They are trying to tell Kelley not to use it to ‘prove’ some loyalty. Mickey and Morgan agree if she wins veto and takes herself off, she isn’t a team player. Completely absurd line. Meanwhile, if Rylie wins, he may know Katherine is a chance of a replacement, so he may fall on his sword and not use it at all.

Basically, this house is at the unserious level where the power is starting to go to the heads of those running the house and they’re all saying and doing ridiculous things. That should stop once the power flips for a week or two and they get some reality checks, but right now things have been super smooth for Mickey’s crew and they are probably starting to feel invulnerable.

But with this group of people on the other side, maybe they are?
