Good morning BB Junkies, There was alot of crying over the weekend and people trying to cover their butts. Jimmy was trying to get back in with Morgan, Mickey, Rachel and Ashley after getting rid of Amy. Vince was trying to disguise his relationship with Lauren and Lauren cried, and she cried and she cried some more.

Sorry in advance because this one may get posted a little late today. I went to a ‘Christmas in July’ pool party this weekend and I’ve been having to play a little catch up. (Shout out Josh and Julie! You always have the best parties)

I also want to plug my brothers show before I get going too. The season premiere airs tomorrow evening on Discovery. (It may also be on HBO Max and Amazon Prime but I’m not sure. It was last season) If you can, help him out and give it a try. It’s called Mud Madness and this will be Season 2.
Season 1 was only 6 episodes but I don’t know how many they have this year. (I do know Amazon Prime has all of Season 1)

I took a couple of screenshots from the trailer and this is just before he turned over upside down in muddy water. (This was real, wasn’t meant to happen and was actually terrifying when I saw the video) There was an issue with the latch on his seat belt, took a little bit for him to get it undone and he almost drown.

(My brother Josh isn’t pool party Josh, different people) The show did well enough last spring to get picked up again this summer. Granted, it’s not for everyone. It’s mud racing, drama and rednecks but my entire family’s had to see my brother wear a mullet for over a year now and I don’t want it to be in vain. (It’s been torture, for me at least! Lets just say a blonde mullet on a 50 year old man could get him good on BB if he was in the house) The show isn’t scripted, but if my brother’s jokes are as corny as last seasons, you’ll swear it has to be. (Love you brother!) He was definitely edited as the villain last season so I’m anxious to see if that will continue. Anyway, give it a watch, let me know what you think and thanks for indulging me the time to plug the show!

Now, back to Big Brother….since that’s why you’re here. I’ll get to the feeds but I also want to mention last nights episode. I was shocked Liz and Julia Nolan were brought back to participate in the comp. For a network that’s never brought back anyone from season 15 because it was “problematic,” the Nolan twins were a choice, to say the least. (I’m not sure how many of you know the career path they chose after BB but if you know, you know. If you don’t know, a quick google search will explain…not around children!)

Last night, I could hear DaVonne calling one of the twins “thickums” after she figured out the twin twist on BB17. She said she could tell they were twins because one was a little bit bigger than the other one. When they would switch and she would enter the house, DaVonne would say “that one is thickums.” (No, neither of them were big for the record)

There was also some talk about Rachel trying to cheat during the hoh comp. I don’t think she necessarily cheated. If it’s true, the most she did was try something production hadn’t said they couldn’t do. Once they realized it, (if its true) they told her she couldn’t. (Yes, ‘Im being generous here because we don’t know the details) Apparently, she was trying to take notes on the whiteboard they give them to use for tiebreakers. I guess there was no need to disqualify her since she didn’t win anyway.

Lauren proves you can’t trust what they say in the diary room. She talked about wanting to make a big move and do her own thing. She said something about wanting to make her mark on the game. Spoiler alert, that’s definitely not what happened with her hoh.

Yesterday’s feeds were mostly just more like the rest of the weekend. Lauren struggled with her nominations on Friday and she struggled to find her replacement nom too. She asked people not to talk game to her Saturday, even tho they saw Vinny doing it all day. I guess she didn’t have a choice yesterday. She mostly had similar conversations with everyone on repeat.

For a catch up….Lauren is the HOH, she nominated Keanu, Kelley and Will. (So much for doing your own thing) Keanu won the Veto on Saturday and also won a movie party. He decided to take Ava, Jimmy and Rachel. I’m assuming he chose Ava, because who wouldn’t? He said he picked Jimmy and Rachel because he’s trying to patch things up with them. Here’s my Monday summary of where the players seem to be at the moment along with the Sunday feeds.

Lauren:
We may as well start with the HOH and I have to ask, WHY is she the hoh? If she was going to struggle this hard and said she wants to stay in the middle, why didn’t she throw it? She’s made a mess of it and it could actually be worse that Vinny’s and Jimmy’s hoh’s by the time its over.

Her problem hasn’t been people trying to take over her HOH. Sure, people have pushed their agendas but they’done it very gently. Vinny for example, didn’t push hard enough in my opinion. She said she wanted to do her own thing, but she’s cried because no one would tell her what she to do. She even walked around the house saying “why won’t anyone just tell me who to put up?”

Initially she told Vinny, she wanted to put up Keanu, Kelley and maybe Ashley, but said she was afraid to put up Ashley. She spent hours talking to Vinny in the hoh room. She didn’t even want him to leave the room when she did her one on ones. (They also think they have people convinced they aren’t close)

She let it drag on too long with too many conversations. By the time she talked to Will, he already knew he was going up. After Keanu won the Veto, Ashley and Adrian already knew they may be the replacement. Let’s just say, Lauren is a ‘peel the band aid off slow’ type person. (I get it, she’s only 22 and very nice but I’m more of a bull in a china shop so I can’t relate)

She also won’t getting the benefits of being the hoh doing it this way. She already has a working relationship with Vinny. She should be using this week to build relationships with other people. If by some chance she makes it to the end, this hoh won’t help her either. Everyone sees her as someone who can’t make a decision and she looks like a weak player….for now. (It’s early)

Keanu:
He won the veto so he won’t be going home this week. He also had a convo with Rachel where once again, she tried to explain that she’d been trying to work with him. She was trying to get him to see he needed to watch out for Vinny without saying it. He wants to work with her now but this isn’t going to last.

He’s telling everyone he won’t lose any physical comps so there’s no point putting him on the block. He’s also said he was the best big brother player…ever! He offered to Lauren that she could blame him for her replacement nom. (She’d already been trying to do that, which didn’t make any sense. If he’s the house target, how could he pressure you on your noms???) He said they could act like they’d made a deal before she put him up that he got to choose the replacement nom if he came off the block. He’s doing this because he’s pushing for Ashley to go up over Adrian. He thinks he’s working with Adrian, but he isn’t.

Kelley:
Vinny told Lauren about Kelley volunteering for the block during his hoh. He said she might do it again and she did. Even though Lauren wants to work with Kelley and knows people want her gone, she still took her up on the offer. (I guess losing an ally makes more sense to her than making a decision)

Kelley did what’s becoming her usual routine. She volunteered for the block and then talk to the cameras to complain about being on the block. She has this new plan to manipulate Rachel and pretend she wants to work with her.

She also spent the weekend going around telling everyone she’s an instigator. After that, she made the rounds again asking why people thought she was instigating things. Haha

After claiming she knew she had the votes against anyone, Rachel tried to give her some advice. She told Kelley she needed to win because she wasn’t sure she had the votes to stay. Kelley twisted this and told everyone that Rachel told her no one liked her and she didn’t have any friends in the house. (I’m with Steve, Kelley may have to stay, this woman is wild!)

Will:
I feel for Will, I really do. He’s 52 and having a hard time getting in with such a young group. He screwed up in my opinion when Lauren talked to him before her nominations. I know people are afraid to make too many waves but keeping yourself off the block is the time for waves. People use you as a pawn when they think you won’t give them a hard time over it. Someone like Lauren especially, was looking for the easy way out. I think if Will had pitched a fit and said if she put him up, they weren’t in an alliance anymore, I don’t think she would’ve done it. Yeah, he bitched and moaned about it but that was to everyone else.

He let Lauren know he wasn’t happy about it but it wasn’t strong enough. This may pull him away from the Bond and bring him closer to Mickeys group. At first, I thought it would. However, Will’s noticed and even mentioned that he sees the difference in how people are jumping through hoops to keep Ashley off the block. He didn’t feel like they did that to keep HIM off the block tho. (The man’s got a point)

Adrian:
He could be the replacement nom today but he’s tried hard with Lauren to keep that from happening. Going on the block last week hurt him because now he’s seen as an easy pawn but it also helped him. He’s finally started playing the game more. He’s tried to distance himself from Kelley since everyone thinks they are working together. I was a little worried about this honesty kick he’s been on but it also makes people believe him. (I was afraid it would keep him from lying too) I’m glad to see he may hate liars but will do it himself.

Keanu thinks they’re close but Adrian can’t stand Keanu. He’s loyal to Zach but he needs to branch out more than Kelley and Zach. He’s also been talking to Mickey which I thought could be good for both of them. The problem is, I’m not sure Adrian is sincere about wanting to work with Mickey. He thinks she lied about having the power and we all know how Adrian feels about liars! There was a funny moment this weekend when he had some game info but wouldn’t tell Kelley. She asked if he trusted her and he said as a person, yes, but not in the game. (He knows she’s got a big mouth)

Ashley:
Like Adrian, Ashley has also fought hard to keep herself off the block. She tried reasoning, she fake cried and made promises too. Rachel, Morgan and Mickey all also tried to help avoid it.

People like Zach, Keanu, Kelly, Katherine and Vinny want her gone. Rachel advised Ashley not to threaten Lauren with anything when she talked to her. She said Lauren was a sweet southern girl, so she needed to use sweetness and sugar.

Ashley tried that approach with some couched warnings thrown in for good measure. Ashley’s just too blunt and direct for the sweet tea approach. Haha

Rachel:
Rachel made her final 2 with Ava official. They decided to call it double the fun. (Lame) I’ve already mentioned she made up with Keanu again, so we’ll see how long that lasts. I really thought Rachel would annoy me but so far, she hasn’t, at least not alot. Sure, she’s got her dumb one liners but blame that on production. She knows what they want from her and the role they want her to play. She gives them what they want…even if we don’t necessarily want it.

She also isn’t getting the Paul treatment. There isn’t any hero worship happening this season and she doesn’t have a cult following like Paul did on BB19. She knows she has to play an entirely different type of game. It’s not like Rachel to play a game that’s strategic and social. I have to admit, I’m interested in seeing if she can pull it off.

She got dressed up for their movie night and I was shocked. I had nothing bad to say about her dress.

Ava:
For the moment, she’s sitting pretty. We can also add her to the list that includes Mickey and Rachel for people who’ve clocked Vinny’s game. She mentioned how much time he was spending in the hoh room. She told Lauren she wasn’t happy to find out Will was going on the block but also told her, it was her hoh and she had to do what she thought best. She was one of the many people who consoled Lauren when she was crying.

She did some camera talking yesterday and sounded genuinely shocked that out of this cast, she actually might be one of the normal people. Haha I don’t know if this F2 with Rachel is real for either of them but time will tell. (She was happy to be chosen for the movie but she didn’t sound thrilled to be spending the time with Keanu, Jimmy and Rachel) Honestly, my only complaint with Ava so far is, sometimes she chews with her mouth open, and it’s really annoying!

Vinny:
He’s either playing a great game or a terrible game. It will be determined by if and when he gets found out. (Looks like he already is by a few) He’s great talking to people one on one. He doesn’t push his opinions very much and just sort of agrees with whatever people are saying. Alot of people in the house trust him.
Here’s Vinny being the first to hug Lauren after she won the hoh. (Real subtle, huh?)

He screwed up this weekend though by spending too much time with Lauren. He spends hours with her in the hoh room, but then wonders why people think he and Lauren are working together.

Rachel said too much to Lauren about Vinny so naturally, this got back to him. Jimmy had been trying to convince him they could work with Rachel for a while but I think thats over. He knows Rachel was saying he was trying to run Lauren’s hoh. (The funny thing is, it’s not even true) He wants Ashley out and if he’d pushed just a little bit, I think she would’ve been an initial nom.

He definitely had to throw the veto since Keanu expected him to use it on him, Kelley expected him to use it on her and Lauren expected him not to use it at all.

Morgan:
Maybe it wasn’t on the feeds but I think Zach may have finally had a chat with Morgan about her crush. Either that or someone else finally got through to her. She talked to Rachel and others about moving on and letting it go. She’s saying she gets that Zach likes Lauren, but let’s just say, I’m not convinced. I thought Morgan was playing one of the best games the first week and she’s very good socially.

The problem is, like Ashley, she talks too much. She tells everyone everything, and she pushes her own agendas way too hard. Mickey, her closest ally, has been worried about the distraction Zach was causing on Morgan. She’s picked up on how much time Morgan spends with Vinny too.

I’m not saying Mickey wants to cut her loose or anything but she does seem to have distanced herself a bit from Morgan. Morgan fought to keep Ashley off the block without realizing that Ashley is trying to destroy her game.

Mickey:
She’s been spending less time with Morgan and more time with people like Ava and Adrian. She was the only one who did a decent job with Lauren trying to keep Ashley off the block. I don’t think it’s going to be enough because she approached it as if Kelley was the target. Mickey doesn’t know that Lauren doesn’t want Kelley to go. Yes, she too consoled Lauren while she cried.

It hasn’t been confirmed, but basically everyone knows Mickey has the power. The only way she can use it successfully is if somehow Morgan can convince people she has it during the hoh interrogation. A couple of people still suspect Rachel could have it. If she decides to use it, they might have to recruit her too. If the three of them could create a little confusion, maybe the hoh would guess Rachel or Morgan. Otherwise, this power is worthless.

Zach:
After Ashley’s big mouth, Zach finally realized (if he didn’t already know) that Morgan had a crush on him. That’s why I said, maybe he talked to her about it. He kind of had a date with Lauren this weekend but it felt really awkward. Zach might like Lauren but I’ll give him this much, he doesn’t push.

He still remains in a great spot and his name rarely comes up as a target. Like Vinny, he wanted Ashley on the block but also like Vinny, he didn’t push very hard for it.

Katherine:
She’s been almost invisible. She talked a little game with Lauren but it was long after decisions had already been made. She’s a have not this week and not dealing with it very well. I’m not saying she was very active before, but it could explain her doing practically nothing this week. She told Lauren if it were her, she would put up Ashley but said Lauren should do whatever was best for her.

The only thing of note I can mention about Katherine was her complaining that Rachel didn’t help enough to make her slop.

Rylie:
He’s another one that does practically nothing. He mostly sounds angry, chimes in and cusses a lot when the name of someone he doesn’t like comes up. Other than that, he gives Katherine compliments. Yeah, that’s all I have to say about Rylie for now.

Jimmy:
He’ll never admit it, but he knows his hoh was a flop. He tried justifying it after Amy called him a snake on her way out. I think he knows it was a waste. Whether they were close or not, he knows he took out someone from his own group. He’s spent the past few days trying to get back in with Mickey, Morgan, Ashley and Rachel.

Other than taking out Amy, his other mistake last week was pushing them away and spending a lot of his time with Katherine and Lauren. In the end, it didn’t help him because they’ve both said they don’t trust him. He doesn’t seem to know this yet because he was also working to try to keep Ashley off the block. He just doesn’t have any influence over Lauren like he thought he would. Ji.mys approach was promising safety to Lauren from Ashley, Morgan, Mickey and maybe Rachel too. (Real subtle who you’re working with my guy)
Morgan doing Rylies hair:

I have no idea who’s going on the block today. Lauren wants it to be Ashley but we’ll have to wait and see. It’s going to be crazy if she doesn’t put up Ashley. We’ll k ow soon enough. Have a great Monday.
