Good morning everyone, I know this week was supposed to be all about Kelley’s birthday, but today is my son’s birthday so Happy Birthday Logan!
There’s a new sheriff in town and the hoh was the old knock out style comp. (my favorite kind) It’s harder to hide who you’re working with for this type of comp. It’s also one of the comps Rachel won on BB12.

After being chosen for every round, (because they were trying to get rid of her) Rachel won the knockout comp. That’s the moment “floaters grab a life vest” was born. Love her or hate her, it’s undeniably one of the most memorable lines from BB.

I’m getting ahead of myself with the new hoh tho because I want to talk about last nights episode first. For such a predictable eviction, it got a little crazy last night! First, I figured Kelley would win the block buster when I saw she was wearing her lucky pants and the brown cardigan. (I’m not superstitious but I did notice she left the cardigan behind when she went to compete, just sayin’)

It wasn’t to be because Rylie walked away with the win.

I liked the comp but mostly I liked the way they filmed it. You could actually see who was ahead and see all three of them at the same time with the overhead shots. (Yeah, I know, this isn’t one of those shots)

Jimmy had given up but Rachel was still trying to get those votes for him.

Next, we saw something that rarely happens and when it does, it’s usually during a double eviction. Rachel changed Ashley’s mind about her vote on live tv in the hallway.

Ashley went in, didn’t know what to do and voted to keep Jimmy.

We had another hallway chat with Will. We couldn’t hear them, but in my mind it went something like this: Ashley-‘”I voted to keep Jimmy. Rachel said you never know. Maybe other people will do it too, just do it.” Will’-“Girl, you’re crazy, you just f*cked up. Mickey’s gonna kill you!” Ashley-‘”Oh, shit, you’re right. What did I just do?”

Ashley ran back into the DR and tried to change her vote but Auntie Julie, Mama J AND Julie Chen Moonves all said “no, no, no, no.” (I don’t think Ashley heard Julie since she was already gone) THAT was a big brother first!

Jimmy was evicted, didn’t give the speech he’d planned out with Rachel and headed out the BB door.
He had his moment with Julie and got to hear a few of his goodbye messages. Jimmy said he would’ve followed Morgan and Mickey into the sun or something like that. In the end, he just played his game too close to the sun, I guess. (Future hg’s: Coming into the house and using pre-planned lines from RuPaul’s Drag Race is NOT a good strategy and it isn’t entertaining for us either)

Meanwhile, back inside, Mickey was standing by Ashley and said “I’m wondering about that second vote.” Haha

This was even more hilarious because Ashley spent two days getting back in Mickey’s good graces. She assured Mickey she was not keeping Jimmy and was going to respect her hoh. All in all, it was a pretty good Thursday episode.

Were the shout outs extra annoying last night or was it just me? You know what’s annoying me worse than the shout outs? It’s the “you look beautiful Julie” or worse, the “Mama J” and “Auntie Julie” crap. She’s not your aunt, she’s not your mom AND you can’t see her when you’re voting so she could look like shit and you wouldn’t even know!!!! (Julie always looks good for the record)
This was Julie last night talking about Ashley’s crazy vote:

This would never happen but just once I wish Julie would do the live show with curlers in her hair, maybe a mask gooped on her face while wearing a ratty old robe. Let these fools get in that little tiny room and tell her how beautiful she looks!
Here’s Ava and Keanu shaving before the live show. Maybe Julie could stand there and do that while people are voting?

Anyway, I need to move on. There isn’t much to talk about from the daytime feeds yesterday. Initially, Jimmy planned to call out Mickey, Morgan and their Triple Threat alliance, along with Vinny, Morgan and Zach being the biggest threats. Instead, he just told Rachel about it before he left. (Yeah, that’s a big game help. Who doesn’t know Morgan and Mickey are working together?)

Morgan was annoyed that Mickey appears to like Ashley again.

Morgan told Jimmy, maybe she should throw the hoh comp so she could compete in the wall comp next week. (We dont know if the wall comp is next week but Morgan does) I don’t know if y’all have heard, but that’s Morgan’s comp and she’s gonna win it! Vinny told her it was a bad idea for any of them to throw the hoh comp since they could be in danger this week.

Rachel and Jimmy ran around the house doing skits, fake commercials and basically annoying about everyone in the house.

We also had Rylie acting like if he let go of Katherine for 1 second, she might disappear out into the universe somewhere. Does he think she’s a bull he can’t let go of?

That was pretty much it before the feeds went down. Let’s move on to when they came back on after the hoh comp… Like I said above, it was a knockout style competition and Ava came out on top. She’s the new HOH.

It sounds like it came down to Ava and Will and they both tried to throw it to each other. Haha

Rachel and Ashley talked about the vote and honestly, I can’t tell if Ashley is lying. She’s denying she voted to keep Jimmy and there’s a chance she thinks she’s telling the truth. Like I said, she didn’t hear Julie say no. Maybe she thinks her vote got switched. She told Rachel she thinks someone was trying to set her up. (She could also be lying to Rachel too) They also talked about needing Keanu to stay this week.

No matter what’s true to Ashley, it sounds like she convinced Mickey it wasn’t her.

Morgan isn’t convinced and isn’t happy Mickey believes Ashley.

Rachel and Vinny had another ‘let’s start over’ chat. I don’t know if he’s terrified of Rachel specifically, or if he just feels like he’s playing a good game except for Rachel being on to him. Either way, he’s wrong. Rachel doesn’t have any more influence than the others this season and a lot of people are on to his game at this point. Vinny targeted Rachel and Ashley in the comp and she asked him about that too when they talked. Rachel told Ashley about their talk and said he cried again. She said he was hard to have a conversation with because he gets so emotional. (Vince is a wreck lately)

Ava got the room and read her letter from her boyfriend Caleb. If you’re interested, he’s done some cleaning, some chores and some clothes shopping because he’s lonely without her. Oh, and apparently he got himself a new kick ass track suit!

There were all the obligatory congratulations and shortly after, Ava kicked them out of her room. (I think Ava’s funny and I don’t care!) She let everyone know her bathroom would NOT be a public restroom this week and she split a bottle of wine only with Will. (I like an old school HOH and this felt like one)

She talked to Rachel and said her noms would be Vinny, Zach and Keanu. This part changed throughout the night, but she also told Rachel if one of them comes down, Katherine would be the renom. She said if anyone has a problem with Katherine going on the block, they can go up in her place.

Ava and Will got a bit tipsy as they finished off her wine. They had the usual high hg’s have when they know they’re at the bottom and then get a little power. Compared to most, the shit talking was tame.

Ava said she was putting up the people that were shaking and nervous when she won. She said Keanu was an easy choice since they’d had an issue this week. She’s not targeting Keanu, he’s just an easy nomination for her.

She and Will rehearsed silly speeches for what she would say to each of them when she put them up. She said Vinny never talked game with her except when he wanted her to vote out Will. She said Zach didnt trust her so he had to go up. She also said Zach was going up to help prevent Vinny from winning the veto.

There was also talk about hoping Keanu was the one who took themselves off the block if anyone did. She also switched to possibly Lauren being the renom instead of Katherine. It ended up changing to Morgan at some point too.

Ava said she’d like to keep Kelley off the block this week in hopes they could bring her over to their side. There was some chit chat about Kelley being crazy. Will said sometimes he wakes up to find Kelley just staring at him while he sleeps. Haha

Ava and Will got drunk before they let Mickey in the room for game talk. She joined for part of the conversation and she’s happy with any of Ava’s choices. Remember, they hung out in the hoh room Wednesday night and had already agreed on this combination of people going on the block. It’s exactly the noms Mickey wanted.

It would have been nice for Mickey to have had to pay a little bit for taking out her own ally but Ava winning helps prevent a possible steamroll later on. (that’s something I guess) Once Mickey started realizing she’d made a mistake, she spent the rest of the week pushing for their group to target Vinny next. (She’ll never admit it but you could tell she knows it’s what she should’ve done) Besides, it’s only Friday morning, there’s still time for Ava to screw up her hoh too.

She’s already making her first mistake in my opinion. She said she doesn’t need to have hour long one on ones with everyone because she already knows what she’s doing. She’s only going to listen to the people she was already rocking with which are Will and Mickey.

Rachel comes in at a distant 3rd and Ashley is below that. She’s already told both Mickey and Will she doesn’t trust Ashley to keep her mouth shut but said she will work with her because Will and Mickey vouch for her. (Neither Mickey or Will know Rachel is her 3rd tho. They don’t know she has a F2 with Rachel) I don’t think it matters because I don’t believe the F2 with Rachel is real to Ava.

I don’t think it’s a mistake to only get advice from her alliance. I think it’s a missed opportunity not to have one on ones with people. You’re finally in a position of power and as long as you do more listening and less talking, you could potentially gain a lot from those one on ones.

This week could get pretty interesting…finally! Don’t get me wrong, this is still a house full of shitty players. I think Ava has the right targets but possibly going about it from the wrong direction. Zach can take himself off the block but they don’t know that so I don’t fault any of them for that one.

I do fault Mickey for not pointing out that Morgan said she will use a veto on Vinny. She’s said this to Mickey (and others) more than once. If Morgan was going on the block instead of Keanu, I think these might be the perfect nominations this week. It also may not matter because Keanu might also use a veto on Vinny if he wasn’t otb. (It just depends on who Keanu wakes up and is working with that day)

It could get interesting because Zach has his 10k to remove himself from the block. Morgan would use a veto on Zach or Vinny imo. Lauren would definitely use it on Vinny. Vinny’s also been throwing comps so he may perform much better than they expect. We know Keanu is capable of taking himself off the block.

There’s going to be a meltdown from someone if Ava has to do a renom. It won’t matter if it’s Lauren, Morgan or Katherine. Both Vinny and Zach will fight to keep Lauren off the block. (I’m not sure if Ava means this one since she has a secret final 2 with Lauren. They both know it isn’t real but it’s good to keep up appearances at least) Morgan will lose her mind if she goes up, especially beside either Vinny or Zach. Rylie has all of them terrified to put up Katherine.

She needs to pick a lane. I wouldn’t put up Katherine unless I was targeting Rylie and Katherine, in which case, I’d put them both up. If Vinny was my target, Morgan would be my nom along with Zach. I’d only put up Lauren if I needed a renom. Basically, why piss off everyone? Rylie and Katherine are free agents when it comes to the real alliances. If you’re going after Vinny and his group, leave them alone…you’re gonna need people to vote the way you want come Thursday Ava.
Some Random Tidbits:
If you remember the screenshot I posted a couple weeks ago of Rachel’s sister Elissa balancing on one foot wearing heels, here’s a new one for ya:

Brooklyn decided to try and outdo her and in my opinion, she did. She balanced herself on something even smaller and she ate charcuterie meat while she did it:

Brendon’s been getting asked a lot of questions about Rachels cleaning habits. They’ve been wanting to know if she cleans this much at home or if she’s doing it so she can go in and out of rooms when people are game talking. This was his response:

There’s another episode of BB Unlocked tonight and I guess that’s when we’ll see Rachel get goo’d.

We’ll find out today if Ava caught hohitis faster than Mickey did or if it was the wine talking. I do believe these will be her noms. I’m just doubting she’ll use some of her zingers she was coming up with last night. Either way, here’s hoping for hoh week #5 to be a fun one! Have a great weekend!
