Good morning everyone, we got through a two hour episode and a double eviction. With just a little over a week left in the game, we’re almost done! Like it or not, we have our final 5.

Lauren tried her hand at campaigning again yesterday. It mostly consisted of crying and saying she didn’t want to go. (None of the people she evicted wanted to go either) For once, they didn’t suspect the double eviction, at least at first. They expected something to happen because like us, they know they have too many people. Lauren had convinced most of them that it would be another elimination, like the way Rachel left. Their lockdown was earlier than usual yesterday and I think they suspected it by the time of the live show.

I’m backtracking for a minute but I forgot to mention Ava’s nomination meeting speech in yesterdays recap. That was one of the most cringeworthy things I’ve seen this season and with the Vince and Morgan saga, thats saying a lot. We all love a tv moment, but I’m so tired of the preplanned ones.

Not only was Vince expecting it, Ava had requested he use the word ‘pawn.’ She’d had the chess pawn piece up her sleeve all morning and needed Vince to give her the assist. Unfortunately, what Ava delivered was NOT a layup. I knew she wanted to give a speech about Vince using her as a pawn. That’s fine, because most of them have stupid things they want to say they think are going to land well with the audience. However, I didn’t know she was going to fake being mad and storm off to the backyard too. (PLEASE stop fabricating ‘real’ TV moments!) I don’t even think it landed with the people in the house because I never heard them talking about it afterwards.
This was Ava yesterday trying to cry for Lauren but couldn’t work up any tears:

Anyway, it annoyed me so I wanted to mention it. We went into the live not fully knowing what was going to happen. At one point during the day, Morgan told Ashley if it was Kelley and Lauren on the block, she was going to go ahead and evict Kelley. Ashley reminded Morgan they may not have the votes to get Lauren out if they didn’t do it now. Morgan started to waver but the feeds went down without us knowing for sure how she’d vote.

It didn’t end up mattering because Lauren won the block buster comp. She didn’t just win it, she’d demolished Keanu and Kelley. Vince cried tears of joy and Morgan tried to look happy for her. Kelley was confident she was staying but was wrong, as usual. Vince broke the tie to evict her by saying he had to do what was best for his own game and deal with the repercussions later. (That was directed to Lauren since he’d promised her he’d keep Kelley. He was NEVER going to keep Kelley)

Kelley left with some warnings to them about not trusting Vince and spilled some of his game. She should’ve spent the time telling them where the dead bugs were hidden because nothing she said made a difference. She didn’t have anything to mention that went beyond week four or five. (No one cared) She was received better once she made it out to talk to Julie. Kelley was enjoying trying to work the audience and to be fair, she didn’t do a bad job. Kelley was more likable in the Julie interview than she was all season.

They hg’s were told about the double and Morgan won the hoh. Ashley was right behind her in the comp so even if Morgan hadn’t won, I think the result would’ve been the same.

Morgan put up Lauren and Keanu and this was risky. If Vince or Ava had won the veto, they could’ve taken Lauren down. She needed Keanu off the block after the veto to have the votes. I don’t know if it was a risk or if it was a mistake but it worked out anyway. Besides, taking out Keanu would’ve been good for her too. Keanu won the veto comp in a tiebreaker with Morgan. (Neither of them were good at it)

I’ll also mention, this may be the dumbest comp I’ve ever seen them create. Maybe it was harder for them because of the size or position of the screen they had to use. From home, a five year old could easily do it.

Morgan replaced Keanu with Ava after he uses the veto, Vince told/asked Morgan he was giving Lauren a sympathy vote and Lauren was evicted. Lauren told Vince this week “if Morgan wants me out so bad, she needs to win an h ojh and do it herself.” Well, she did.

I was fine with whoever left last night but we ended up with the least exciting results. I’ve already said, with this cast of bad players, I root for entertainment this season. It was the least exciting because Lauren and Morgan weren’t going to be in the house to continue targeting each other. Vince also didn’t have to deal with the aftermath of lying to Lauren about voting Kelley out. Just like that, Kelley and Lauren were gone and all drama was avoided.

Lauren’s Interview with Julie was just as rough to listen to as most of her conversations in the house. Fan of the show or not, it’s obvious Lauren was cast as possible showmance material. I’m not being mean, they do it every year. They always cast a significant amount of players for the sole purpose of thinking they think have hook up potential.
This was Lauren mid wink as she came in after winning the block buster:

Lauren reminds me of Hayleigh from BB20. I’m not talking about their personalities but rather their potential. Back in BB20, I said I wouldn’t mind seeing Hayleigh play the game when she was a few years older. She had potential and decent game instincts but was too gullible and naive. I kind of think the same about Lauren. If Lauren wasn’t so timid and could connect with people, she may have been decent at the game. She didn’t have a problem going off on Vince yesterday so she DOES have it in her. She just didn’t talk to half the house and it’s a social game. I laughed when I heard her tell Vince if she left, she’d make sure no one voted for him in jury. How? She’d have to talk to influence anyone. Plus, what was her plan to win the game? She never spoke to half the jury.

Morgan consoled Vince after Lauren left or she was counting his tears, one or the other. I’m guessing there was a maximum amount she’d allow him but anything over that, he’d hear about later.
This is a perfect image of Morgan dog walking Vince all week:

I make comments and jokes about Morgan but honestly, I don’t mind her behavior. Dan put Danielle through something very similar during BB14 and it’s seen as arguably the greatest BB move in the shows history. Why is Morgan a bad person when she manipulates? Sorry, I just don’t get it. She’s not a good player, but she’s easily the most strategic player in the game and has been for a while.

Vince apologized to Ava for Lauren leaving but Ava was ok with it. Basically, she was only gonna be mad if Lauren left on his hoh. It doesn’t matter, she didn’t like Vince before last night and she doesn’t like him now so nothing’s really changed.

Instead of Lauren getting to see her goodbye messages, we got James Gunn instead. Don’t get me wrong, this is probably the biggest ‘get’ this shows ever ‘got.’ They may have only got him because Taylor reached out to him (that was true) but Julie was like hell no! It was dumb to bring him on when he’s going to be on again tonight for BB Unlocked but Julie was going to get her interview first. Besides, she’s still really proud of her BB comic:

I can’t remember which season they made Julies comic. I think the first year they did BB comics was season 14 and the lady they had inside the Zingbot costume passed out from the heat in the backyard. There was a whole story surrounding it that I won’t bore you with today. (Sorry, I love all the nerdy BB trivia and always have)
Morgan counting the tears:

The feeds came back immediately after the show ended and this surprised everyone. It’s sad we’re surprised by this because that’s how they used to do it all the time. They were getting geared up for the next hoh comp. Ava and Ashley talked about Keanu not being able to play the next one if he won this one and how maybe one of Morgan or Vince would leave next.

Keanu was debating on whether or not he even wanted to win this hoh. He said he felt confident no matter who won, he may not be going on the block. (???) He also said he just needed to win a couple more vetos to win the game. Vince and Morgan agreed that Keanu couldn’t win the hoh or feared they’d go otb together.

Ava asked Vince what he would do and he said he had to play the game for himself at this point. They talked about how no one could beat Morgan and Vince said he would like to go to the final two with either Ashley or Ava. He also asked Ava if putting Keanu and Morgan up together would make him look like a bad person. (Here he goes again saying shit he doesn’t need to say. If he doesn’t plan on putting Morgan up, why is he even mentioning it to people?)

Keanu began pushing Vince to target Morgan. He said she has to go next, especially since she took out Lauren. He also told him Ashley and Ava are on board with it too. Vince said he may have to either take her out on his hoh or vote her out. Keanu said it may be the only way he could win over the jury.

The feeds went down and came back to the hoh comp. It was the one where you hold a pole or in this case, a sword up against something. Ava’s said for a while she’d win this comp….she dropped it after about 10 minutes. Ashley followed her about 20 minutes later. In their defense, it sounds like the swords were much heavier than in the past. They said you needed arm strength to do it. Apparently, they had a hard time holding it up from the beginning. (I hate when they do this)

About an hour into the comp, Keanu dropped his sword and Vince won the hoh. This was after Keanu said he was enjoying being able to get some alone time with Vince. (Each player left the comp room after they lost so they were alone for the last half of it) They did the comp in the have not room so they also found out why the have not room had been closed. Kelley managed to escape being a have not all season.

Morgan was excited and said she’d get to spend her birthday in the BB house. Vince hoped him winning 4 hoh’s might get him a little respect but Keanu told him it wouldn’t. He told him “it won’t mean shit” and said he’d need to win a veto to even have a chance at winning the game. (I know he’s some of y’all’s favorite but I can’t help it. I’m so over his arrogance!) Vince tied the record with the most hoh wins in a season last night. Personally, I could care less but I’m pointing it out because Keanu thinks comps are everything.

They talked about it being a short week so they know this will be a sped up eviction. Keanu talked to Ava about how they’re all going to target Morgan this week. (Keanu does the same thing Morgan does by just telling people what they need to do. The difference is, she’s successful at it)

Vince talked to Ava again and said they needed to get Keanu out this week. Ava said she was worried they made a deal when it was just the two of them. Vince said Keanu, kept offering but he didn’t take it. She also tried to convince him he should target Morgan instead of Keanu. Ava said if he was able to put up Lauren, he should be able to put up Morgan. She also thought it might help him with Lauren’s jury vote.

Vince got an hoh letter from his dad this time and they laughed about it being so short. (This is the second hoh his letter was not from his girlfriend) Keanu got Vince alone again and kept pushing Morgan as the target. He said, maybe Vince might have a chance to win the game if he took out Morgan this week. He also said, if Morgan wanted to cry about being nominated, she could do it outside the hoh toom. (haha) Keanu said Morgan has to go on the block first and said “if I go up, I’ll get evicted and I know you don’t want that.” (Yes he does) Vince suggested making her a replacement nom but Keanu kept saying no. (Again, why does Vince get in these conversations if he’s not planning on doing it?) Keanu said as it stands now, Vince couldn’t even beat Ashley or Ava in the end so he needs to do it.

Once alone, Vince said Keanu is definitely his target. He said he hopes if he sticks with Morgan until the end, the jury can respect it. He’s hoping he has a chance at beating her because he was loyal to her and can say he had to do damage control all season. (True but it’s damage he created) He plans to tell Keanu the jury would expect him to put up Keanu. He’ll act like his plan is to take out Morgan, when it’s really Keanu. If Keanu wins the veto, he hopea to take out Ava.

Morgan got a big hoh basket and a letter from her mom. She’d made a comment about being sad she didn’t get the hoh room and Keanu said she had the room all last week. (Haha) For once, Morgan didn’t have to wear Vince down. He told her his plans before she could start pummeling his brain. She’s happy with the plan so maybe they can both finally get some rest.

No matter who won, (other than Keanu) this week was going to be hard. It’s smart for Keanu to want Morgan gone. However, Keanu is a huge comp threat at the end so they need to try to get him out too. Obviously, that helps Ava and Ashley have a better chance. The problem is, Morgan and Vince in the final 4 as a duo is also a huge threat. It doesn’t mean taking out Kelley and Lauren last night was a mistake because they were also comp threats. There’s not too many mistakes to be made anymore, because we’re down to the win or go home part of the game.
Before I go, I saw this pic yesterday:

With this Tweet:

Now, we just wait around to see how many people Vince can piss off today. Luckily for him, there aren’t very many people in the house anymore. That cuts down on how may lies he can tell a day. Have a great weekend!
