Hello everyone! I wanted to pop on here and do a weekly rundown of the players since I couldn’t fit it in yesterday and a recap of the feeds. It was a pretty slow day mixed with a couple of game moments that could be relevant later.
Recap of live feeds:
There’s been a bit of a push to keep Kelley over Katherine and that’s not where things were at the beginning of the week. Rachel started kicking it around on her own and Morgan’s been fighting for it pretty hard. Morgan thought Mickey might have Katherine as a number if she stayed. (She doesn’t) She found out through Vince, who found out through Lauren that Katherine is only faking with Mickey. After finding that out and a bit of pushback from Will and Ashley, Morgan’s mostly let up on it.

Keanu’s gone fully into redemption overdrive with Rachel. It appears the things Rachel said to him finally sunk in after their argument in the gym. He said he realized he betrayed Rachel the same way he thinks Vince betrayed him. He told her seeing hwr emotional in that conversation was the first time he actually thought Rachel was sincere about wanting to work with him. She told him she still didn’t trust him and he said it was ok. Keanu said he was going to try to earn her trust back. He started by cleaning the shower. Haha

Lauren made her own push for both Katherine and Kelley to stay this week. Of course, she did it in her usual whispering and slow motion conversation style. I almost feel bad for her. She finally decided to branch out and talk to someone about game other than Vince. Since she’s new to talking much game, she made a rookie mistake and didn’t check the room before her conversation. Around the time the episode was ending last night, Lauren was talking to Ashley about possibly evicting Ava. She didn’t know Ava was in one of the bunk beds and overheard the entire conversation. When she realized Ava was there, she ran out of the room. (smooth way to handle it) She ran upstairs to tell Vince she may have really screwed up.

Lauren told Ashley she was closer to Katherine than Ava and it was a hard decision. Ashley said she was a lot closer to Ava than Katherine so she was definitely keeping Ava. (Don’t forget, Ava doesn’t like Ashley and this is important later) So far, this wasn’t the worst thing Lauren could’ve said because she does like them both.

Here’s the problem with this convo. Lauren started wondering if maybe Kelley should stay over Ava too. Lauren didn’t say she wanted to keep Kelley over Ava, but the fact that it’s a question is the problem. I don’t think Ava ever thought Lauren would consider keeping Kelley over her, especially since Ava Katherine and Lauren just talked about making a F3.

This prompted Ava to get her ass out of bed and put a little work in for herself. Katherine’s finally started talking to some people, but Ava and Kelley hadn’t done very much. Kelley STILL isn’t doing very much, other than trash talking Rachel and going over hug-gate with anyone that will listen.

Ava talked to Rachel about the votes and Rachel assured her she was fine. When Rachel named Lauren as a vote, Ava said she wasn’t sure she had Lauren. Rachel said she was still fine and they didn’t need Lauren’s vote.
Mr. B gave them a “stop that” when Ava tried to carry Ashley around:

Ava also talked to Ashley. She’d already heard Ashley say she was closer to Ava and was keeping her but that’s not what brought them together yesterday. They finally had the Mickey talk that so many in their group have been having recently. Ashley told Ava that Mickey told her she can’t trust Ava. Ava finally admitted Mickey had done the same to her about Ashley. Ashley told her about having the same conversation with Morgan and realizing Mickey was doing this to everyone.

Assuming Ava stays, here’s why this could be important. Ava’s in a F3 with Will and Rachel and seems somewhat loyal to it. However, she started pulling away a little bit, especially after Rachel pressured her during the live eviction how about Rylie’s vote. She’s been saying she doesn’t like the “emotional manipulation” and agreeing with Lauren and Katherine. (I thought emotional manipulation was part of the game, but maybe that’s just me) I don’t think Ava would go against Will but I definitely could’ve seen her working more with Lauren and Katherine moving forward over Rachel, Ashley and Morgan.

Ava finding out that Lauren was trying to possibly keep Kelley over her could”ve ended that before it started. Instead of continuing to say she didn’t like the “emotional manipulation,” Ava’s started talking about how Rachel fights hard for her allies to the bitter end. (Same situation, different way of looking at it, based on how you feel about someone)

We went into this week with Ava safe, no matter what, but that might also have changed a bit. Vince told Lauren if he needed to break a tie, he’d do whatever she wanted to make up for the current situation he may have put them in. Of course, Vince is probably lying, but who knows? (It’s not bad for Vince’s game if Ava leaves tho) Assuming Ava doesn’t win the blockbuster, the votes against her could be Keanu, Lauren and whoever comes off the block between Katherine and Kelley. With one more vote, Vince could break the tie to evict Ava. Could they get Mickey since she wants to keep Katherine? Could Vince talk Morgan into it? I don’t think so but anything is possible.

This is Vince we’re talking about and he does some weird shit with his game play. He might make a push for it today if he thinks it could repair things with Lauren, Katherine and Keanu. On the flip side, he said he’s burned Kelley too many times for her to forgive him. He may think he’s better off keeping the Judges happy over Lauren.

They got a late alcohol delivery last night around 11:00. Will was very excited to be eating real food and to get a little booze.

It didn’t go unnoticed that Morgan and Vince stayed in the hoh room instead of running down for the alcohol delivery. (I’m assuming they were sleeping but the internet is assuming something else) I’ll just say, I have no idea what’s going on with them and they seem incredibly close lately.

Thoughts on the Wednesday episode:
The last few episodes have been really good and I like what they’ve been doing lately. Sure, I’ve had some minor criticisms but overall, I’ve been impressed. I wish Morgan, Ashley and Will had gotten some credit for keeping Rachel off the block but otherwise, I was happy with the edit.

I also loved the veto competition. I can do without all the campy acting, but it’s big brother so I deal with it. What I liked was the bluffing aspect of this comp and once again, they killed it with the costumes! (The wardrobe department must’ve got a budget increase this year)

This is also the kind of comp they can easily repeat with a different theme. They all looked beautiful and I enjoyed it.

I didn’t care for the edit last night with Rachel and Kelley tho. If I was only a tv viewer, I would think Rachel was being an asshole for no reason. (Instead, she was an asshole with a reason) I think doing a 45 second to a 1 minute montage of some of the things Kelley’s been up to would’ve told the story better and more fairly.

My weekly rundown of the players:
Vince
Let’s be honest, he made a mistake not taking a shot at Rachel. He keeps making a bigger mistake by not committing to 1 plan. There’s nothing wrong with trying to play both sides, but there comes a point when you simply can’t pull it off anymore. He also over promises people things when he doesn’t have to do it. He spends half his time doing damage control for things that came out of his own mouth.

Having said that, he still may be in a decent position in the game. Rachel might target him but then again, she may not. She may be willing to let this Judge’s alliance ride for a little while. He needs to watch out for Katherine, Mickey and maybe even Kelley this week but one of Katherine or Kelley may leave tonight so thats one less. Vince’s game is confusing to me because he’s either one of the front runners to win the game or he’s likely to be the next one gone.
Katherine
She could win the block buster tonight and have a fresh start in the game. She could lose the block buster and stay anyway because everyone wants Kelley to leave. If she stays, she’s going to have to talk to more people than Lauren moving forward. She’ll also need to find some new allies and quickly.

I get it, her boyfriend left and she’s sad over it. (Get over it, if you still want that hot mess of a relationship, you’ll see him in a month!) Everyone in the game has people they get close to and they have to deal with them being evicted. The fact that she made out with her person doesn’t make it any more sad than when other people’s friends leave. I like Katherine’s spunk and I have from the beginning. I’d just like to see her direct that into the game and a strategy instead of all the personal digs at Rachel.

For example, I liked when she started saying if Rachel made it to the end, she’d vote for her out of spite. (Personally, I don’t think anyone should vote for her out of spite if she manages to make it to the end. If you vote for her, do it because she played the best game) Anyway, my point is, she doesn’t plan on voting for Rachel. That was just a strategy to try to get people to evict Rachel. Now that, I liked!
Kelley
Personally, I’m ready for Kelley to go. The rebel strategy and not knowing the game, mixed with trying to be Tucker was mildly amusing for a couple of weeks, but frankly, (as Ava would say) I’m over it. Her whole game is hating Rachel and it’s gotten old. It was kind of funny at first because Kelley didn’t have a reason to hate Rachel yet and Rachel didn’t know it, which made it amusing. (Those one sided beefs when the other persons not aware are always funny)

It’s lost its humor because nothing is game related with Kelley. It’s all about how Rachel’s husband will be ashamed of her and she’s not a good role model for her daughter. Kelley is the typical shit stirrer who can dish it out but can’t take it when it’s given back. Her only game strategies involve things like winning the veto and using it on someone else or convincing Mickey to use her veto on someone else, etc.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’d crack up if Kelley stayed and won the hoh tonight. Everybody in the house would be terrified and that could be entertaining. Otherwise, there’s just nothing else to say about Kelley
Ava
Ava entertains me personally, but as a game player, she’s just as dull as Lauren and Katherine. I’m glad she overheard Lauren yesterday and maybe that gave her the kick and the ass she needed. What I’ll give Ava over some other players is she’s protected in the game. (for now) Although she doesn’t play hard, she probably has more win equity than some of them too. She’s won an HOH and took out a big athletic guy in Zach.

It would help her if she stopped saying Mickey manipulated her during her hoh week. You can’t take credit for the move if you’re giving someone else credit for it. (I’m looking at you too Vince) However, she’s in multiple alliances and she’s taken the initiative at times. She’s the one who brought up a trio with Lauren and Katherine. If the Judges last even for a while, it probably isn’t good she was excluded from it. I could also see her being used as a pawn again after being otb this week.
Mickey
I think Mickey winning the veto this week was hilarious since most of the house wanted her gone. Maybe she’s been humbled after being on the block two weeks in a row. Maybe she’ll go right back to being the Mick-tator if she wins another hoh. She’s almost in a Rachel position because she’s become a pretty big target.

Like Ava, she isn’t in the Judge’s alliance either. She’s only playing nice with Morgan, Rachel and Vince but she still wants them gone. She also thinks she has a new ally in Katherine, which she doesn’t. You never know though because Katherine’s going to need allies going forward if she stays. I’m actually pretty curious to see what Mickey’s next moves will be.
Morgan
Morgan can get annoying but I like how hard she plays the game. I also like how hard she fights to get what she wants. Most people (including myself) assumed Morgan was turning into someone who was playing the game for Vince and Zach. After this week, I actually think it’s the reverse. She’s had Vince wrapped around her finger to the point of getting Vince to harm his relationship with Lauren. She put in overtime keeping Rachel off the block this week.

She also put in a lot of work to steal Will, Ashley and Rachel away from Mickey. I’m curious to see if she can hold onto this position with the amount of time she’s been spending with Vince lately. She’s in a much better position than she was 2 weeks ago, in my opinion.
Rachel
Rachel’s a target and she’s always going to be a target. She may have bought herself some time with the Judge’s alliance and it sure as hell paid off this week for her! She also has Keanu back on her side for now.

It’s impressive she’s one of only two people who hasn’t been on the block. I said this last week, and I’ll say it again. I can see that changing as soon as tomorrow, depending on who wins the next hoh.
Lauren
Lauren’s game is a mess and all of it can’t be blamed on Vince. She whisper bitches about Rachel behind her back and that’s the most passion I ever see coming from her. During her hoh, Vince was reluctant to create a tie vote to keep Adrian, even when Lauren was saying she’d break it. She didn’t say it with much enthusiasm, though. Last week, Vince voted out Rylie after Lauren used a veto on him. He didn’t even give her the courtesy of telling her ahead of time. This week, he put her best ally on the block. What’s it gonna take for her to realize Vince doesn’t have her best interest in the game?

Lauren’s only response this week was to tell Vince she still trusted him because she “didn’t have a choice.” As the biggest bb fan of the cast, she’s been the biggest disappointment. During her hoh, she could’ve put Ashley on the block instead of Adrian. It’s what she wanted to do anyway and it would have been a good move. She just isn’t vocal enough about anything in the game.

She’s got to create some relationships in the game that don’t revolve around Vince. She’s running out of time but she can win comps and the other side wants to target each other half the time. Maybe she can squeeze herself in somewhere when Mickey, Rachel and Morgan start going after each other. Otherwise, she’ll have to pull a Jag and win out from the final 10.
Ashley
I think Ashley does a lot more in the game than she gets credit for doing. I admit, I didn’t understand parts of her game until her camera talked the other night. The first few weeks, I thought Ashley would be the first of their group to be targeted. Vince, Keanu, Katherine, Lauren and Kelley all wanted her out. Even Ava wanted to target her and some of them would still put her otb.

Between Ashley planting seeds and other people making bigger targets of themselves, she isn’t doing too bad. Even if she goes on the block with some combination of Rachel, Mickey and Morgan, things have changed. I think Ashley would have the best chance of stay at this point.
Keanu
Like Rachel and Mickey, Keanu is a huge target for most of the house. He proposed an alliance with Lauren and Katherine this week. They have no one in the game and even they don’t want to work with Keanu.

I guess for something positive, he stopped telling Vince everything. He’s also realized (probably too late) that Rachel actually wanted to work with him and was telling him the truth.
Will
I don’t know how long it will last but I think Will is doing amazing. He’s no one’s target and everyone trust him. The 3 talks he had with Vince this week played a part in Vince trusting in this Judge’s alliance for a while. He also played a large role in that alliance coming together.

Mickey doesn’t have a clue he doesn’t trust her anymore and he has a final 3 with Rachel and Ava. Can he win the game yet if he gets to the end? Maybe not but he still has time and that could change. I’m rooting for him.

Alright BB Junkies, what do we think is gonna to happen tonight? If Kelley leaves, we can be done with the elementary school level behavior. If Katherine leaves, we could be done with all the ‘I can’t believe she broke up a showmance’ talk. I’ll take either one as a win. On the slim chance Ava leaves, I guess I’ll miss her crazy wardrobe and my best screenshots of the season.

As for thinking ahead, I’ve been trying to figure out what I’m hoping happens tonight with the next hoh. Most of the people I like are on Rachel’s side of the house and they’re playing the game the hardest. If I look at it from that perspective, I’d want one of them to win.

I think another Lauren hoh would be torture. If I could speed up her conversations, it wouldn’t be that bad. Unfortunately, you can’t watch live conversations in 2x speed. Except for dreading listening to Lauren try to make a decision, I may want Lauren, Keanu or Katherine/Kelley to win tonight. It could make for an entertaining week!

If they don’t, I’m not worried about one side steamrolling this season. There’s so much infighting with the Rachel, Mickey, Morgan (and I guess now Vince) group, they may go after each other if they win.
Some random tidbits:
Kelley’s dad has been doing Tik Tok’s and maybe some other socials talking about Kelley. He’s very nice and very accidentally funny. He takes questions from people and was recently asked if Kelley’s family and friends thought she was annoying. Kelly’s dad said he could confirm anyone who knows Kelley would say she is very annoying. Haha

The funniest thing that happened on the feed yesterday, other than Lauren getting caught talking about Ava, was a conversation between Rachel and Ava. When talking about votes and Ava knowing she didn’t have Keanu’s vote, she said: “If the reason I lose 750k is because I didn’t talk to Keanu, enough, then its money well spent.”

Will quote: “Rachel finally broke Keanu because he’s cleaning the shower and I saw him doing the dishes.”

Have a great Thursday!
