I’m not going to lie, with the way the house had Donny as their target this week, I fully expected to see him face off against Hayden and Nicole to re-enter the house this Thursday night. Derrick nominated him with Christine, as she was the only one willing to throw the BotB competition, and Frankie nominated Caleb and Cody to face off against them. Donny gets an already weak player who is throwing the competition and he has to square off against the self proclaimed ‘beast mode’ of the season. Many were already plotting what they were going to do about the veto competition, but they didn’t see this coming…

When the feeds returned from the battle of the block competition, the ultimate surprise happened. Donny had a smile on his face.  He won. Christine did everything in her power to throw the competition short of sabotaging it (production wouldn’t let her), and Donny still managed to beat both Caleb and Cody.  That is going to make fantastic TV on Sunday night. Not only was Donny thrilled and America happy, but apparently Derrick heard members of production cheering when he won.  Donny may feel alone in the Big Brother house, but he has an entire Big Brother viewership pulling for him.  The guy is becoming a reality show hero.

This is definitely good news, but it has potential to be bad due to who is currently on the block. If the power of veto is not used, Caleb will likely be evicted Thursday night, except he’ll be spun right around and allowed to compete to re-enter.  Considering there has been only one endurance competition this season (if you call it that – on day 1), we are badly due for one. I am fairly confident they will use the BB15 format where the remaining houseguests AND the jury members will compete for the sole HoH in an endurance-based competition. As a fan, I’d much rather have Nicole and Hayden competing alongside Jocasta and Victoria instead of Jocasta and Caleb.

If Victoria competes, the odds of Hayden or Nicole re-entering the house increase to about 95%. If it’s Caleb competing and it’s endurance, I’d say that figure drops to around 40-50% at best. So if you’re a Donny fan, cross your fingers and your toes for Caleb to emerge victorious from the veto competition.  Him winning veto is the best possible scenario to potentially having Donny gain an ally this Thursday night.

The veto this week will be zingbot, and the players have already been drawn. Victoria, Donny and Christine will join Frankie, Caleb and Cody competing in one of the biggest veto challenges of the season.

For those wondering, we won’t see zingbot on the feeds (maybe for a second), but I am sure the house will retell all his painful (some funny) zings.  I wonder if they’re going to zing Caleb with a cross promotion of the new CBS show ‘Stalker’.

I will put up a live feed thread a bit later.  I am sure it will be incredibly slow until after the veto, but if it takes awhile for zingbot to enter, I will create a live feed thread in an hour or two just keeping you updated.  Have a good Saturday!

Go Donny!!! Can’t wait to see it tomorrow. 🙂

  2. Comments (9)

Good for Donny 🙂 he really needed that. I hope that Victoria joins the jury so it increases the chances of Nicole or Hayden getting back in the house. Caleb needs to win the veto so Victoria goes up. Of course that’s best case scenario and it might not actually happen 🙁

    • Comments (1288)

Donny needs a better weapon than Nicole or Hayden. A pissed off Caleb or Zach would help him as much or more than those two who stupidly did not listen to Donny before. Victoria is a non-threat that Donny could perhaps collect to his side during the inevitable break-up of the Detonators (or Bomb Squad as Caleb still calls it).

Hayden and Nicole both shunned Donny in hopes of working with the power group, what will stop them from doing that again? I can see them easily selling Donny out to get “in” with Frankie and Derrick. We know they shouldn’t but do they? Despite his random nature I am thinking Zach could be the most effective in creating house chaos that Donny could use to mask and cover his moves until the end. And it would be suck great TV. Hell hath no fury like a lover scorned.

I’m sorry but I’m not a Donny fan I don’t believe he is playing the game at all. Except winning a few things. He doesn’t try to talk game. He is too nice. Also I’m sure they made the BoB easier for one person to win again!! If these house guess are smart they will back door Derrick! Derrick is one of my favorites and I think he is running the house! We will see if Frankie makes a smart move!

The other thing I’m sick of reading the comments about how boarding and how this is the worst BB ever. You said the same thing last year. If you don’t like it STOP watching!!!

    • Comments (61)

Yeah you’re right, he doesn’t play game at all….except for constantly winning comps! That’s also part of the game if you haven’t noticed.

      • Comments (61)

The guy’s been nominated 8 times and won 5 comps as of today, and he “doesn’t play the game”? Gimmie a break!

      • Comments (4)

OH Donny is playing the game in his own way ~ he knows everything that is going on. He just does not feel the need to broadcast everything he know to the rest of the house!

      • Comments (2)

        Love Donny! Go Donny Go!!!

      • Comments (75)

I didn’t realize he won 5 comps, that’s way more than I thought! Guess he is playing in his own way. I just don’t see why everyone thinks he is so great! Just not a big fan!! I’m would like to see Zack, Frankie and Derrick in the final.

      • Comments (1)

Donny plays a honest game. Derrick sits in the background and call all the shots without getting his hands dirty. He’s been playing a dishonest game since walking in the house. Zach has yet to prove himself. He talks so much garbage about what he’s going to do and who he wants gone but he has yet to win a competition

      • Comments (75)

To me Derrick is playing a great game! No one has figured it out that he is calling the shots. Dishonest I guess but it’s big brother. I like Derrick and I’m not a Donny fan but it will make good Show if Donny calls him out!

      • Comments (843)

Are you kidding? Donny had it figured out week 2. He told Jocasta! He also told Nicole and Hayden then told Nicole again last week. He said the only time he said anything about it, he was put on the block so he’s keeping his mouth shut.

      • Comments (1288)

Zach has won a veto, just saying. As far as an “honest” game, that is relative. Donny has lied to people, hid the truth from people and put himself forward as someone who could be used to do the dirty work for a segment of the power alliance to cull the alliance numbers. It is all game play, Donny is just quiet about it.

      • Comments (1288)

Donny has been playing the game, he just plays a quiet game. He did a wonderful Matlock impression while interrogating Cody and Caleb about the “Skittles Draw Decision”. He quickly became aware it was a smokescreen from the house’s granfalloon meant to blind him.

Currently he is gently questioning Zach about the rest of the house, Zach has identified Frankie as the leader but also said Frankie is not entirely anti-Donny. The biggest anti-Donny people according to Zach are first Christine and the second is less clear but falls among Caleb/Cody/Derrick/Frankie.

Donny is also calling out the power alliance for not using Donny to their benefit, “don’t they know they could use me to target people inside their alliance they don’t want to have to get out? Haven’t they ever watched the show before?” Please BB, that needs to make the CBS show, perhaps in close association to a montage of Christine’s and Cody’s wild paranoid speculations about Donny the schemer..

      • Comments (75)

This is all news to me. I don’t watch the live feed. Looking forward to see how it plays out on TV.

      • Comments (1288)

Fair dinkum. The show really exists on multiple levels depending on how closely you follow it. CBS edits their shows for maximum drama but it is sometimes not very indicative of the actual status of the house. They are trying to cram 168 hours of house activity into 3 measly hours of TV [minus commercial time].

    • Comments (412)

Donny deserves to be in that house more than any other contestant!

    • Comments (1288)

My mental image for Donny is him as Diogenes, carrying a lamp through the house during the day looking for a wise player. Donny wants to play the game but the game has played Donny. The power behind the big alliance saw Donny as a threat because he could not be baffled, buffaloed or bullshiated. So he was isolated among the rejects and cast-offs. Winning comps has been Donny’s only path through the game.

When the big alliance splinters and new ones reform Donny may get the chance to play from the inside. Over night Frankie and Zach were saying their names have never been on Donny’s lips and perhaps he was someone they should start working with. That could be just the poison needed to take Derrick out.

    • Comments (95)

#11…you have GOT to be joking?! How is this man not playing the game at all, yet managed to pull himself off the block ALONE? And he’s won HOH before, and veto comps. If you mean that he isn’t playing the game because he doesn’t lie and backstab, then you’re right. You know, you don’t have to be an a$$hole in order to get places in this game, and Donny is proving that.

    • Comments (1443)

Donnie plays game!! If you notice everyone leaves Donnie alone. They essentially ignore him. Only time they want to talk to him is when they need to use him. Plus he’s only one in house that knows everything going on. He said weeks ago Derrick was running the house

  4. Comments (57)

Hearing production cheer for Donnie and hearing the double cheer for Nicole on her eviction night should tell the Detonators that they are not the fan favorites.

  5. Comments (644)

If Donny or Victoria don’t win the veto, Victoria goes bye bye, unless Derrick convinces them to put Zach up. Derrick will throw the veto because if he wins he will be expected to take Cody or Caleb off so they can put Victoria and evict her. I would love for Cody or Caleb to be evicted, but with a chance of someone coming back, one of them, especially Caleb has a chance of beating Hayden or Nicole. I didn’t mention Jocasta because I don’t think she can win.
Hopefully Donny wins HOH next week and puts up Frankie and Derrick so one of them goes home. If he doesn’t win then he’ll have to win veto to stay in the house.
Does anyone know what’s going on with Zankie? Did they break up or what?

    • Comments (2826)

About Zankie…a few days ago Frankie was bleeding from the butt. To me that suggests three things: Zack was doing him, he was over doing himself with a tool, or he has a serious case of colon cancer.

      • Comments (644)

@AIO_7–I think that had to do with the competition when they were riding the bulls. Frankie said he was sore and had to put some type of medication.

      • Comments (1288)

        Paging Dr AIO_7 … paging Dr AIO_7

Would you consider the possibility of a case of hemorrhoids? Colon cancer is quite a leap. Blood in the stool due to cancer normally presents itself as a black, tar-like substance due to the effect on the blood inside the colon. Fresh, red blood has to be coming from someplace very close to the exit if not in the exit itself.

The HGs have talked about how the comp with the rocking horses was very hard on the player’s “taint” areas and rubbed a few contestants the wrong way so to speak. There certainly is a precedent for consensual sex within the house in previous seasons but from what I can gather this season is sticking with onanism.

      • Comments (692)

        Onanism? What??

      • Comments (469)

        It’s a banking term – early withdrawal.

      • Comments (1288)

        Well played [golf clap] 🙂

    • Comments (1443)

      Derrick not playing in veto

    • Comments (843)

Derrick isn’t playing in the POV. Christine, Donny, and Victoria along with Frankie, Cody, and Caleb. Donny and Victoria don’t want nominations changed. Christine will probably use it on her Cody. Caleb and Cody of course will use it on themselves. Don’t know about Frankie. He’s said he wants Victoria out, but he’s also said he wants Zach out. He is such a liar and conniver, you never know with him. He could put up Derrick.

  6. Comments (120)

People are already on board to get Zach out this week, which is exactly the outcome Derrick wanted. Caleb already told Derrick yesterday that he would want Zach out over Victoria this week, because Zach is of no use to them anymore. There’s some truth to that. Even after Zach has been so close to getting evicted for opening his mouth, he continues to do so. He told Donny yesterday that Donny was the target for the week, and it’s good that he won BOB. He needs to learn to not open his mouth as much.

  7. Comments (2826)

About Zankie…a few days ago Frankie was bleeding from the butt. To me that suggests three things: Zack was doing him, he was over doing himself with a tool, or he has a serious case of colon cancer.

  8. Comments (1288)

Speaking of outside cheers influencing the house, how about the other night when from the backyard the players heard someone calling out “We love you Zach”. Mom, were you in the neighborhood? Boy was Christine pissed off over that.

If the Team America mission casts suspicion on Zach being the Saboteur, that incident may further damn him. If the house thinks he has been collecting money as the TA player they will also probably assume he is a front-runner for the America’s Favorite money and that will turn them against him in a NY minute.

Bad for Zach and not so good for Donny as Zach is one of those he could align with. Then again if Zach goes out this week and then wins the return perhaps he will enter the house “reborn”, free of past alliances and ready to run to the end with Donny.

    • Comments (492)

I am done packing and wasn’t going to write, bit since you are talking about me , I just have to pipe up.
I wish it was me yelling for “My” Zach. , but it wasn’t. Not my neighborhood. Lol.
I leave late tonight, so I am still hooked on reading.

Go Team Zach!!!!!! Go…..( I will be very sad if he goes) I will be back next Sunday night , looking for him as HOH !!!!

      • Comments (1288)

On the upside Donny is firmly in Zach’s corner, so he has that going for him.

      • Comments (492)

Well, that is good to hear. Thanks.
Why is Caleb so against Zach? Is it because. Zach keeps opening up his mouth?

      • Comments (1288)

Part yes and part because Caleb understands someone other than him needs to go. Zach’s style makes him a natural target when a HG thinks “who would be easy to get out to save my sorry azz.”

I love Donny and would love, love to see him at the end. Imo he is playing extremely well considering what he has been given to work with. Weirdly, the outcasts did not try to band together and seemed quite willing to line up and march right out the door. I’ve never seen a season like this, are they all so intimidated by the top dogs that the white flag is their only option? No backbone, no game, just a weak, weak bunch of players. It’s been pretty easy for Frankie and Derrick to control the game. Lasy year’s group, horrible as they were, at least had a clue as to what game they were playing.

    • Comments (469)

Canadian – One of the reasons we are seeing a different game this season is the make up of the house – split directly down the middle – on one side we see a group of trusting – honest – and yes a bit naive HG’s – on the other side a group of people who have brought a different level of lying and deceit to the game – one that exploits the good in people then openly mocks them for their gullibility – so yes the first group should have joined together to protect themselves – but the way the early game played out an alliance of half the house formed in week two (and I will say probably set a BB record for an early large alliance to last this long) – sadly the alliance’ core was this second group – and it was for all practical purposes to late – so yes intimidation was and continues to play a large part in group twos success with an uncanny ability to exploit the one weakness group one possesses – honesty.

  10. Comments (95)

In my opinion, anyone that flat out throws a comp. (like Caleb did) and Christine attempted to do, should not be safe for the week like the winner and person that actually played is. Donny is amazing and I am so happy for him, and proud! He SO better win America’s favorite! I am OK if he doesn’t win the whole thing though because I am sure after this he’ll be America’s sweetheart and have lots of offers for stuff. The rest of them will be kicking themselves in the a$$ when they see how much we love him!! TEAM DONNY!!!

    • Comments (1288)

Very sad that Christine’s attempts to help the other side did not result in a penalty nomination. Having her, Cody and Caleb all on the block would be a delicious conundrum for the house to face.

      • Comments (95)

Yes it would! I am Christine will have her own issues to worry about after this game when she reunites with her husband. I hope he brings to divorce papers to the finale.

      • Comments (95)

        **I am hoping**

      • Comments (1288)

Not enough evidence to support that. Perhaps her husband said “I don’t care if you flirt around if it get’s you closer to $500k that you bring home to share with me”. Or perhaps they practice some form of consensual non-monogamy that allows for sexual relationships outside the marriage. Different strokes for different folks so to speak. In her intro video didn’t she say something about being OK with casual nudity?

Her husband is not saying a lot last I heard so no way to tell if her actions are beyond the pale of perfectly fine for her situation. Not really our business outside of how it effects the game.

      • Comments (95)

True, I just cant imagine how it must make him feel to have to see it and have everyone in the world telling him how bad it is. No matter what they agreed on..

And, yes, she DID mention being OK with casual nudity. Glad it hasn’t happened. That thought makes me ill.

      • Comments (1288)

        Perhaps this is their song:

You can dance every dance with the guy
Who gives you the eye, let him hold you tight
You can smile every smile for the man
Who held your hand ‘neath the pale moonlight

But don’t forget who’s taking you home
And in whose arms you’re gonna be
So darlin’, save the last dance for me, mmm

Oh, I know that the music’s fine
Like sparkling wine go and have your fun
Laugh and sing but while we’re apart
Don’t give your heart to anyone

But don’t forget who’s taking you home
And in whose arms you’re gonna be
So darlin’, save the last dance for me, mmm

Baby, don’t you know I love you so?
Can’t you feel it when we touch?
I will never, never let you go
I love you, oh, so much

You can dance, go and carry on
Till the night is gone and it’s time to go
If he asks, if you’re all alone
Can he take you home, you must tell him, no

‘Cause don’t forget who’s taking you home
And in whose arm’s you’re gonna be
So darlin’, save the last dance for me

‘Cause don’t forget who’s taking you home
And in whose arm’s you’re gonna be
So darlin’, save the last dance for me, mmm

Save the last dance for me, mmm, mmm
Save the last dance for me, mmm
Save the last dance for me

Lastly, perhaps the nudity would distract us from her face, just saying…

OK, I am becoming a Donny fan, why not he seems like a good Christian man, and probably the one who really could use the money the most, considering his age and a being a janitor promises little in advancement.

OK I am a Donny fan, but Derrick is still the best mind player. But Donny has his heart and soul on that life-changing prize for his family. And I hope he gets it.

  12. Comments (5)

If/When Donny is evicted, can you imagine the cheers he will get when he walks out? The remaining house guests will be stunned, and the House itself may tumble to the ground.

    • Comments (1288)

Be great if the crowd started chanting “Bullshiat Bullshiat Bullshiat” like at a football game when the ref makes a bad call. The pucker factor in the house would go straight to 100.

  13. Comments (61)

    A thought for upcoming seasons:

Amongst all the talk about people conspiring to throw comps/making comps favorable to certain players, etc. CBS should release a complete schedule of events when the BB season begins, just like a sports schedule, only us (the viewers)can see it. It should list each event/comp/double eviction, so we know when it’s due to avoid the speculation of foul play from production (no one can say they changed competitions last minute), it would also provide the fans more room to discuss gameplay scenarios in the long term.

    • Comments (1288)

Nice idea, but unlikely to happen. Sometimes events in the house mean they have to change the game mid-season, like when season 2 switched from America voting for the winner to the evicted HGs doing the voting. I feel they do not change the game to help a player chosen before the season ever begins.

However they do change it to make the show more dramatic and entertaining. The big revenue stream for BB is the advertising during the measly 3 hours of show we get on CBS, so that is the dog that will wag the tail.

How about changing it to the losing HoH from the BotB becomes an automatic 3rd nominee for eviction and automatically gets to play in the Veto comp, perhaps replacing the chip the HoH normally draws?

      • Comments (61)

That’s a good idea. I’ve only been watching the last 2 seasons, so I’ve had to school up on what they’ve done in past years.

      • Comments (1288)

If you have time to kill just Google BB1, BB2 or BB16 whatever and look for the Wiki’s. They are fairly a accurate and unbiased recounting of what happened each season. Occasionally people do try messing with them but they are kept up-to-date. This season’s is a good resource for checking back on competition outcomes and what-not.
