Only Hours Remain To Save!

I know, I know. If you click on your favorite Big Brother site, you’re likely being hounded today about the final few hours of the savings. You’re probably thinking “Well, I appreciate your concern about how I spend my money, but I’ll save money if I want to” and you’re right. Shit, most of the people reading this have no intention of getting the live feeds, so you’re probably the most tired of seeing the offers.
Here is a rare moment of honesty from a blogger.. The reason you are seeing the spam (for lack of better term), is no different than you walking into a store and seeing the best savings right up front. This is a win-win because you’re saving money, and we’re getting commission for the sale. Every blog you see pushing the live feeds is getting a commission for it. Is that a bad thing? Well, on the surface it will look like it, but deep down it’s the reason why roughly 90%+ of the readers will be able to enjoy the spoilers this summer without paying a cent.
Keep in mind that running a Big Brother site isn’t free. Server costs alone can put a serious strain on the wallet depending on how big the site is, and how fast they want it to run. Then you factor in the best bloggers do this full time during the season, and in order to do that, they need to be able to eat, pay rent, cable (for Internet), etc. On top of that, most completely miss out on their summer months – which if you’re like me and live in the north, are far too short to begin with.
This isn’t a post begging you to sign up, in fact what I’m about to say will probably hurt me personally. If you plan on buying the live feeds, visit your favorite Big Brother blog (hopefully mine!) and click on one of the many banners they have around the site. This not only supports the blogger, but it also supports the show and helps push interest in it so we can have Big Brother for many more seasons.
Today is the last day you’ll save money by signing up, but you can still sign up tomorrow and throughout the summer. I’m not going to give hourly reminders about the sale coming to an end.. instead, I’m going to try and get some rest and prepare for the next few months! It’s going to be a busy summer, and I hope you come along for the ride.
