What’s up BB Junkies? I don’t know how Cedric’s hoh week can be both boring and chaotic but that’s whats happening. I’m not complaining because it’s early in the season and most of them start slow. We’ve already had more excitement than we normally have most years. I think it’s boring because the same people keep going on the block. It’s still chaotic and entertaining because people volunteer to go on the block, almost everyone in the house is in at least 3 or 4 alliances, and no one can keep a secret.

I’m just happy because I still like the cast 3 weeks into it. For me, it’s a sign for a good season if i’m entertained and enjoy writing about the players that I don’t like too.

Lets face it, Cedric wasn’t ready to be the hoh. With 3 noms this season and people volunteering to go up, I guess he thought the job would be easy. After Kenny asked to and Angela saying she knew she would be, he spent Thursday night and Friday looking for his last volunteer. He finally took Tucker up on his offer and those were his 3 nominees. I know everyone would like to come out of their HOH week unscathed but what happened to putting up actual targets?

Just before the nom ceremony, Cedric, Kenney and Tucker made an alliance. (Shake it up may be the name?) The hoh putting his new alliance otb to solidify said alliance may be a first in the BB house!

Kenney drifts in and out of wanting to stay or wanting to leave. The days he thinks the guys can join up and take out all the women, he wants to stay. (I guess everyone needs a little motivation) Everyone in the house knows Kenny is spreading there’s a women’s alliance too.

It’s becoming obvious that Tucker is just bored. He wants to make moves, compete in the challenges, etc. (I’m waiting for the week this restlessness bites him in the ass) I don’t know what he’s doing or who he’s loyal to, if anyone. I know some think he went otb so Rubina didn’t have to but I’m not so sure. This was Tucker telling Rubina she wasn’t going otb as the pawn:

He may just be confident in his ability in comps, wants more screen time and like I said, he’s bored. He definitely seems the closest to T’kor and Rubina out of everyone in the house. Maybe he wants to work with them but wants Quinn out of the way first? (Finding out Quinn lied about the power has changed things. I think he’s done with Quinn) Maybe he’s really into the guys alliance? Maybe he doesn’t even know? After all, he’s a recruit and he’s learning as he goes but he’s an entertaining one so far!

I’ve been relunctant to talk about alliance in depth since there are so many and most are fake. I’m going to today because the structure of some of these alliances are what’s causing Cedric problems with his hoh. (Like Quinn, he’s in too many)

Joseph was on a mission to keep the Collective together AND to find out who let Brooklyn in the alliance. He organized a late night meeting with the alliance Friday and did most of the talking.

There was some Kenney vs Angela talk among the others but Joseph ran that shit! (Quinn wants Angela out but Brooklyn is concerned about Kenney) The Collective is Joseph, Cam, Cedric, Chelsie, Quinn, T’Kor and Kimo plus Brooklyn. (I think Chelsie brought her in after Angela was kicked out but I don’t remember) It’s funny that Joseph is worried Brooklyn will realize she was the last one brought into it. I think she was actually brought in because she’s in the smaller alliance (the Pentagon) within the Collective. Joseph may actually be the disposable member, not Brooklyn.

Joseph thinks he’s playing a much better game than he’s playing. His camera talks were kind of amusing tho. (I do think this was partial sarcasm but when Joseph got called to the DR, he said to himself “the star of the show.”)

Theis is the Collective minus Kimo. He was asleep for the meeting:

Lisa liked to claim she “was the vibe” while in the house. I don’t know about that, but to me, this look is a vibe:

Joseph has a couple of side relationships but the Collective is pretty much the only thing he has going thats real. He’s also concerned T’Kor and Kimo are being pulled away from the alliance by Rubina. He thinks they need to start having more meetings in order to keep those two close. (It’s also why he wanted Rubina to be the 3rd nom)

Rubina, Kimo and T’Kor have made a natural bond. Alliances usually can’t compete with how people naturally connect. (That’s why when considering alliances, they should be made of more than just numbers)

Love this image of Kimo:

Within the Collective is the Pentagon. It’s made up of Cam, Cedric, Chelsie, Quinn and Brooklyn. Quinn has never been loyal to it but wants to use it. Brooklyn is loyal to it (for now) but knows she’s at the bottom of it. It’s fairly real for Cam, Cedric and Chelsie but they have internal problems. (The Cam/Leah/Chelsie of it all)

There’s another almost alliance of T’Kor, Kimo, Quinn, Rubina and Tucker. I say almost because it’s been discussed to death, but without actually making it. Too much time was spent debating who they should bring in as a 6th. (Brooklyn, Chelsie, Joseph) It doesn’t help that it’s already been mentioned to all three without actually making it official.

T’kor, Rubina and Kimo are stuck in the planning phase and the game may be passing them by. I think if they could’ve locked this in Thursday or Friday, it could have turned into a power alliance for a while. Unfortunately, they’ve kept waiting until one of them won the hoh to make it official. (you snooze, you lose)

T’kor and Kimo were looking to be in the middle of everything (where Quinn wanted to be) and without making themselves targets. It could still happen for them. But they need to start being more careful. Some combination of T’kor, Kimo and Rubina are always together. They’ve got to branch out a bit more.

Possibly one of the only times MJ and T’kor have talked:

As far as a women’s alliance, it’s been tossed out a few times by a few different people. The problem is, any women’s alliance talk has only been suggested as a way too temporarily keep it from becoming MJ and Leah vs Chelsie, Rubina, T’kor and Brooklyn. (these women don’t really want to work together)

Quinn thinks he has Joseph but so does Tucker. Quinn spent time bonding over being superfans with Joseph. Quinn told him about Brooklyn being a big fan of the show too. (Shut up occasionally Quinn!) Tucker bonded with Joseph by telling him about Quinns power. (Later, Joseph asked Quinn if he had it and Quinn said no) Oopsie!

Quinn enjoying some pasta as his game possibly crumbles around him:

In the Friday recap, I mentioned how Quinn was about to get himself in trouble. He’s still under the impression the only 2 people who know about his power are Angela and Kimo. He’s also fairly confident no one believes Angela. He doesn’t know Kimo confirmed it to Tucker. Since then, Tucker’s told both Joseph and Cam. Cam has also told Cedric. (Kenney knows now too)

Cedric talked with Quinn to see if he would admit it and just like with Joseph, he didn’t. Cam and Cedric are concerned as to why Quinn would tell Kimo but not them. (Yeah, I wonder why? It’s almost as if Quinn wants to work with Kimo over the Pentagon)

Tucker won the veto on Saturday and said he wanted to shake things up with it. (Later, he said he only said that to get people scrambling. Haha) Apparently, he did mean it because yesterday, he told Kenney, Cedric and Cam they should take out Quinn. He got them all pumped up for it but Cedric was hesitant. (Shortly before this, Kenney had asked Quinn if he wanted to be in an alliance with himself, Cedric and Tucker)

Tucker’s idea was to use the veto to take Angela off the block instead of himself. That way, he and Kenney could compete in the AI Arena comp, beat Quinn and send him packing. (Kenney’s already offered to go home if Quinn happened to win it)

Tucker said he was sure they have the votes to do it. (It’s possible but not a guarantee by any means) Cam, Cedric, Tucker and Kenney made another alliance. (I think it’s called the ball players) When they made it official, Kenny said “I think this is the 18th alliance.” (He’s probably close)

After the guys left the room, Cedric did another one of his camera talking sessions. He sees the merit in taking Quinn out but he’s also reluctant to break up the alliance so early. He also couldn’t tell them he has a F2 with Quinn. (Cedric should see it’s not real since Quinn told Kimo about the power instead of him)

Cam and Cedric had a painful game talk last night. They kind of talked in circles. I think they ended up agreeing it was too soon to make the move on Quinn. (It’s hard to know for sure because they were all over the damn place) Leah, MJ and Rubina were all considered as a replacement. (Before and after the veto) I think it’s landed back on MJ but not as the target. Cedric said he was just going to have Tucker use the veto on himself too.

MJ was paranoid she was a backdoor plan. She found it weird Tucker went on the block since Tucker and Cedric are close. She’s debating on whether or not she should use or save her power if she goes up. (I think the entire house may know about her power at this point. It’s possible Kimo and T’kor don’t know but I’m not sure)

Chelsie has pushed hard for Leah to be the target but it doesn’t look like that’s happening unless she spends some time with Cedric this morning and changes his mind. Cedric definitely needed help with this hoh and she hasn’t been around enough. It’s as if she’s content being safe for the week but isn’t trying to push her agenda. It’s been like her hoh week, where she focused on being safe the following week but didn’t really do anything else.

I like Chelsea but she’s spending way too much brain power worrying about Cam and Leah. I get it, she’s working with Cam, Leah could mess that up so Leah needs to go. (If only she’d been hoh last week and could’ve done something about that problem) I agree that it’s definitely a problem. However, Chelsie needs to be doing more game talking than just about that particular situation.

Angela’s continues making the rounds campaigning. She’s tried to start working with Kenney too. They’re finally getting along but no way Kenney wants to work with her! For the moment, Angela would like to work with Kenney, Cedric and Tucker. I did enjoy the weekend Twitter jokes about Angela and Kenney becoming the new showmance:

Kimo and Rubina both admitted they have a crush on Tucker. (I guess we know why Kimo spilled Quinns secret now) Rubina said she’s more open to a shomance but is nervous about becoming a target. She said she’d like Quinn to stop making jokes about it so she doesn’t become a target.

Quinn and Leah talked a bit and it had been a while since theyd talked game. (Don’t forget he has a F2 two with her too. Plus, he’s now also made F2’s with both Joseph and Rubina) They talked about everyone thinking she’s in a shomance with Cam and how its hurting her game.

Cam also got caught giving Leah some game info. I guess when Cedric was considering putting her on the block, Cam told her. When Leah or MJ spoke with Cedric, one of them let it slip they had the info. Later, Cedric told Cam that Leah spilled that Cam was talking game with her. Cam was mad and said he was never talking to her again. (That was probably gonna last about an hour)

Cedric decided to blame MJ going up on “the house.” He told her almost everyone in the house suggested her as the new pawn. MJ wasn’t gonna take it lying down so she went around asking people about it. T’kor and Rubina said they didn’t like Cedric not owning up to his own decisions.

Quinn has already told Kimo, T’kor and Brooklyn about the new proposed alliance with Kenney, Cedric and Tucker. If the plan had still been on to try and take Quinn out, he’d just made it harder for them on accident. They trust Quinn and because he’s spilling his new fake alliances to them, they trust him even more. (They also don’t know he’s lying about his power tho except for Kimo)

I really like Quinn but i’m gonna be honest. I got excited when Tucker was talking about his plan and really wanted it to happen. I’d love to see Angela’s reaction if Tucker took her off the block. The shock of Quinn going up when he’s so comfortable would’ve been hilarious too. Unless Tucker can work a lot of magic this morning, it’s not going to happen, but it would’ve been fun! What would have been even better would be them not having the votes to get Quinn evicted. He’d probably stay and then be the next hoh by using his power.

For some reason, Angela’s started trying to convince people that Lisa told her she had a power. (Quinns power) I don’t know if she’s trying to get back on Quinn’s good side or if she has some other motivation. It’s Angela so who the hell knows?

Cam and Leah made up and are back to sharing game info. Leah even threw Quinn under the bus a bit. (I wasn’t tracking it so I don’t know how many hours Cam lasted)

For some other quick and random tidbits…

Rubina trying to get something off the top of the frig:

Angela and Quinn finally exchanged a few friendly words:

Brooklyn suspects Kenney may be a cop:

Joseph likes to play dead in the pool:

MJ thinks “oh mylanta” is a new phrase she’s bring to the BB house. (Its not):

I have no idea how Joseph can sit this way:

I think Brooklyn would’ve made a way better game partner for Quinn over anyone else he’s working with:

Kenney made it clear, if something goes wrong this week, evict him over Tucker:

Cedric dropped a seed about Rubina to Angela. She asked who she should campaign to and Cedric just said “maybe Rubina.” Within a minute of Cedric leaving, Angela concocted an entire story in her head and now thinks Rubina is after her. (Rubina actually wants Kenney out):

Veto ceremony later today and have a great Monday!
