Big Brother 26 – Monday Updates + Veto Meeting 7/22
Good afternoon, everyone!
It’s Monday in the Big Brother house which means it’s time for the veto ceremony!
We also learned a few things about the twists…
- 3 noms per week (until the twist stops).
- AI comp (live?) on Thursday which will remove one of the players so it’s still 2 person voting
- MJ’s power is veto where she replaces a nom at the veto ceremony and America chooses the replacement
- Quinn’s power is secret HoH where he gets to remain anonymous and have full control over the HoH week
- Both powers are only valid the first four weeks
Back to the house. Lisa won the veto and she’s going to save herself. Angela has been debating on who to replace her with, and so far the results seem to be Crazy Eyes. She has been debating on a pawn and wanted T’Kor to volunteer but that never quite happened so she may be stuck with Matt. We’ll find out shortly if that ends up being the case…
(I’m posting now but veto meeting hasn’t taken place. I will update when it does)
Update – Matt is on the block!
Matt is in the flower room talking to Leah, Lisa, and Rubina about having a little ass. They say they are going to do a bootie camp.
Matt and Angela chat. He tells her Tucker VOLUNTEERED to go on the block. (not true)
He couldn’t sleep. Something about it made him want to smoke a cigarette. He says he has never smoked in his life, but last night he wanted to!
Quinn says his mustache is going to turn into “something spicy!” He says he grows like 5 hairs in his beard. He plucks those and the hair between his eyebrows.
Nothing more than surface-level fav types of music, etc.
He feels guilty not being there. Angela tells him not to do that to himself. “We are good parents!”
Announcements that veto ceremony is approaching?
Jokingly…but she says there has just been lots of dumb people, dumb conversations, dumb everything. She thinks one more WAR is going to break out this week.
She thanks him for providing a safe space for her to be herself. She loves to be real with others. Matt says vulnerability produces trust. But he says you have to lie in this game sometimes.
Cedric says, “Oh, I did go upstairs yesterday to look at her picture.”
She really sprays Joseph’s bed and tells Chelsie she doesn’t want it to “smell like boy.”
Cam, Brooklyn and Cedric to come outside with them to talk all together. Rubina asks if MJ is ready for today. (veto and replacement) MJ says if she doesn’t put Matt up, then there is more blood on her hands. MJ thinks putting Tucker up.would be smart.
He says “that if you want a pawn, you have the pawn option.”
She says goodbye to all of them. She calls the bugspray quick “like on-demand!” “I tried to give you guys a chance. I am doing a massacre over here.”
So Lisa just dances in the bathroom mirror.
He says when he uses it, he could nominate himself to avoid suspicion. (nooooo)
Matt tells Lisa he knows she’s working with Angela and he wants Lisa to ask Angela for a better apology to Matt and for her to do it publicly. Lisa denies working with Angela
Matt insisting to Lisa that the entire house thinks she’s working with Angela. Lisa is very upset by this
He is starting to get block paranoia already.
This stems from Matt telling her her thinks she was working with Angela
He feels at peace with being able to play. He feels guilty for missing his daughter’s birthday.
Kenney agrees. Lisa tells Kenney that his family is so proud of him.
Matt says “you are a grown as man! Come on now!”
He tried and he is done doing it. He doesn’t want to talk to her at all!
She says Matt’s actions showed what type of person he was. (pot
…kettle…black…much?
She said Kenney blamed her for him being on the block. She said it sounds like he doesn’t have a fight in him. She thinks he doesn’t want to fight against Matt, because they are “boys.” It disappoints her that he seems to have given up. Kenney told her he has a beautiful life at home.
She says she just needs to know that…”mmmkay.”
If he is HOH next week, he will put Angela up. Quinn tells him if he cries if Kimo goes home, it doesn’t mean he is sad that Matt stayed.
She says she is not committing to anything until the end of the week. She says she likes them…but she is going to wait. She says she doesn’t want to vote for him (Kimo) to go home. She wants Matt or Kimo to take themselves off the block and she will vote Kenney out.
He says he is going outside to get a sunburn so his skin will match the way his heart feels. He says there have been 2 big house fights and he got heartburn both times. (I am guessing Angela shouting at Kenney was anhuge blowup again?)
They are thinking of names…The Trama Boys or The Mr. Andersons. They like that one…the Mr. Andersons. Kimo thinks that if they make it official, Maybe Joseph will be in it too. The Have Nots are over at midnight tonight! Kimo says the only beds open are in that middle room with Matt and MJ.
He says he has some shit going on and he wouldn’t mind going home. He said it will be doing him a favor.
Unlinke you…is what he should have said! LOL
He tells them they need to have an accountability buddy, so when they get paranoid about something not working, they can check in with their buddy. He said they can talk about their alliance with things like “that BS that was thrown at me.” Matt spoke like the leader. Leah and Brooklyn stayed behind as everyone else rushed out and high-fived each other about being included but they say, “we will see!” Brooklyn said she wasn’t going to turn it down!
He says the best place he has parked is at the casino. Cam is asking all about how he gets permits and how much food trucks cost, etc. Kenney really is just answering all their questins! LOL

Similar to hide and seek…but when the werewolf finds you, you have to run to base before getting tagged.
