Big Brother 26 – Saturday Notes & Updates 10/5
Good afternoon, everyone!
It’s Saturday in the Big Brother house and the season has gone from 50-0 real quick over the last two weeks. I would say 100-0, but the house really hasn’t been at 100 for weeks. However, it was pretty slowly fading until that double eviction when it really just fell off the cliff. And now with 4 people left and veto already done, we have to sit here and wait until Thursday for MJ to make up her mind.
As you saw, MJ won the veto which brings her comp total to:
- 2 HoH
- 5 PoV
- 2 AI Arena
- 1 Special
If she wins the final round of the 3 part comp, that will technically be another HoH. Not bad, however it should be noted that she never actually won a comp with more than 6 opponents. Her first HoH was against 6 people, the vetoes were all a max of 5, AI arena 2 and special was like 3? Still, 10 comp wins is still super impressive and good for her resume.
The problem is, comp wins aren’t everything and even many from the jury are saying Chelsie is playing a great game. Chelsie – who will probably win the final round of the HoH to bring her total to 5 HoH wins – easily played a better game than MJ. She was Derrick to MJ’s Cody and while MJ would probably win in most circumstances, you can’t deny the masterful social / strategic game that Chelsie has played.
But in the end, the biggest question mark will be if MJ and Chelsie are in F2. Either should easily win against Rubina or Cam so that means the winner of next Sunday’s comp (not tomorrow) should win the game (unless it’s Cam then he still loses). Honestly, I think that’s the biggest decision moving forward. Not who MJ will take the final 3, but who wins and decides the F2.
Regarding updates, there probably won’t be a ton over the next week. I mean 95% of the week is going to be them sitting around chatting about the season or just staring off into space. The 5% will come down to Rubina and Cam trying to convince they’re better for MJ’s game, but I think that decision is going to come down to the wire for her. Cam is the better overall option and he’s a guaranteed win (Rubina probably does have at least 2 votes so far), but at the same time, Cam would probably take Chelsie over MJ. However, Chelsie will probably take Cam or Rubina over MJ if she wins the final round, so it will all really boil down to who wins that final HoH.
Reminder how it works, the two people who win the first two rounds of the HoH square off in round 3. As weird as it may sound, MJ may want to think about who can beat Chelsie in either round. Her entire goal should be facing off against Cam or Rubina in that final HoH round because if Chelsie is there, she will win. She has either won or been in the running in virtually every trivia comp and I expect that to be no different in round 3.
The more I think about it, the best possible path for MJ to win would be to take Rubina, hope she’s in a position to throw round 1 to her (Rubina) and then beat Chelsie in round 2. This way MJ can win the final HoH and take Rubina and win the game. Anything else probably results in Chelsie winning the game.

MJ had to put her veto comp outfit back on for the DR. It looked like a Power Ranger outfit or superhero maybe?
Lots of fish WBRB messages, so I assume BB is saying “wakey, wakey!”
Man! This is an exciting afternoon in the BB house!
for DR most likely. She says sorry every so often. She thinks her makeup “is giving clown.” She doesn’t know how to fix it.
