Big Brother 26 – Thursday Updates 8/29
Good afternoon, everyone!
It’s Thursday in the Big Brother house and we’re at eviction #6 of the season! I was watching the episode last night and shocked just how few were not playing the veto comp. Usually there are a bunch of people cheering them on, but now we’re down to only a handful. Season is flying!
Anyway, I realized that I completely forgot to do my update thread yesterday. Sorry about that! This week has been something awful where I almost quit my job Monday (hope my boss doesn’t read this). Fortunately, the weekend is approaching but before that, we have an eviction to get to.
Tonight is going to be an interesting night. You have two of the most entertaining people of the season on the block along with MJ (sorry, Mak. You’re nice, just a bit boring – which is a good thing for you after the show). The thing is, what happens in the arena can change the course of the entire season as Tucker will almost certainly be leaving tonight if he loses.
Counting the votes, we have:
- Tucker wins – MJ vs Angela. This is close. You likely have Quinn, Chelsie, Cam, and Leah vs Tucker, Rubina, Kimo, and Joseph. Joseph could flip and create a situation where this isn’t a tie, but if it is based on those lines, T’Kor would just stay with her alliance and vote out MJ.
Prediction: 5-4 MJ Leaves (T’Kor tiebreaker) - MJ wins – Tucker vs Angela. Alright, you almost certainly have Quinn and Chelsie voting out Tucker. Rubina and Kimo voting out Angela. That leaves Cam, Leah, Joseph, and MJ as split votes.
– Cam is closer with Chelsie than Tucker so he likely leans Tucker (out)
– Leah and MJ have kind of bonded a bit with Angela and would likely see her as a number so they may vote out Tucker. Especially why leave a strong player on the block?
– In that situation, Joseph has no choice but to follow Leah and vote out Tucker.
Prediction: 6-2 Tucker Leaves - Angela wins – This will almost certainly end up like Tucker v Angela except more in favor of MJ. Kimo and Rubina would want to keep Tucker. Joe would want to as well, but he’s outnumbered so he’ll flip.

Keep in mind, both of those situations with Tucker on the block, Joe would want to vote for Tucker, but he simply wouldn’t have that fourth tying vote so he’ll likely just flip to Leah.
We’ll see what happens throughout the day, but I think if anything, the only thing that will happen is Joe will learn that he wouldn’t have the numbers to keep Tucker so he’ll confirm that he has to flip against him.
He says he is voting to keep Makensy. He also told Makensy to go up to make a deal with T’Kor to keep her safe if she is kept.
She says Quinn is trusting Tucker, but Tucker told her earlier that he would go for Quinn if he wins HOH.
He knows Angela wouldn’t put them up.
She says, “yes, you gave me the $5,000 and yes, you volunteered to be a pawn, but what’s that got to do with anything?”
She wants Angela and MJ gone back to back, no mater the order. They have to be careful of Leah bc she is in people’s ears. She is sure to tell Quinn that she tells people that Quinn and Joseph are masterminds. She says Angela would be safer for Quinn’s game than Leah. Q says he doesn’t understand Leah.
He compares them to Bowie Jane. He thinks pulling Leah/MJ would be loyal. T’Kor says other people could be doing the same thing with the 2 ladies. Kimo says if they haven’t already.
Q says that is CRAZY!
Quinn thinks that would be a lot of people tonget together on game time decision.
They say Rubina and Tucker are so cute. Rubina asked Chelsie if she should be scared? Chelsie told her she definitely could be considered a threat. T’Kor says she doesn’t feel threatened by Rubina yet.
T’Kor says she told Rubina she needs to tey harder to compartmentalize her game. Chelsie and T’Kor say they want to protect Rubina but she is making it hard.
I guess Leah walked in on a heavy make out sesh. They say maybe they were still buzzed from the alcohol? Chelsie says Rubina is madly in love with Tucker. Chelsie says, “He had her on her back! Y’all couldn’t stand up for this?”
She says she and Tucker are just going to have to fight harder. Rubina says she probably made it easy for others.
Chelsie and T’Kor tell her they will still protect her. Chelsie asks when did they decide to be so public? Rubina says it is just because they got caught. They could hear everyone, so they just did. They were dying inside hiding their love for one another.
But Chelsie says no one is saying anything…Rubina says because they are smart.

It is boys in the bathroom time, I guess. Kimo is shaving, Tucker showering, Quinn and Joseph brushing their teeth, and Cam just sitting on the couch.
Just the sound of Chelsie’s nail file.
Cam is rubbing her neck and Leah brought her a cold towel for her forehead.
He keeps saying he has to win. MJ told him either way he is probably fine. (but then she has side eyes) MJ says a win today is for a bigger cause. “If we don’t do it now, we never will”…meaning get Tucker out.
She says she hates packing and unpacking, but hopefully she gets to unpack this time too.
Chels says they didn’t get any til day 50 last season. MJ says because the ratings are high!
They they need to go back and let Joseph know because he has said he will vote with the majority.
He says he thinks Tucker is good. He is going to talk to Joseph. Quinn says MJ didn’t promise T’Kor safety, but Angela did, so MJ can go.
They are sleeping by the fish. He didn’t bother them.
One of the faucets is running. The camera keeps zooming in on it. T’Kor left. Rubina is doing makeup. Just still running. Angela comes in and clips her toenails on the couch. One time someone asked another HG to run the faucet closest to the toilet so they can poop without people hearing them.
Tucker laying in bed. Gorls aremdoing makeup at the dining table.
…may even be a jumper…can’t tell. He was asking which shoes look best.
I was wondering if he was throwing it! He said he might just to see who is loyal to him.
Meanwhile, Tucker is playing the ‘I want to stay and I’ve done favors for you all’
