Big Brother 27 – Feeds Won’t Return Until Midnight 9/5 + Twist Speculation

Good afternoon, everyone!
It’s Friday in the Big Brother house, and we’re not getting feeds all day!
Last night as you all know, Mickey is the last person not in the jury for the season which means we have entered the final phase of the game. When people pretend they’re going to play differently but have waited too long and now are really at the mercy of who wins HoH that week, because numbers don’t lie. You either have them or you don’t.
Alright, so you’re probably wondering what is expected, and so are we. However, I have pieced together some clues and this is what I expect….
The White Lotus is a show that has two storylines that generally seem independent until they start intersecting toward the end of the season. Julie made a tweek saying ‘Sometimes it’s as if people are watching two different shows’, and then announced the ‘White Locust’ twist.
My guess is that the ‘resort’ will require a competition to get into. Either the winner or loser will be the odd man out in a good or bad way. Both can work here, but it’s more likely winner because it’s easier to win a comp than lose one. Winning a comp requires one person to finish it. Finding the loser of the comp requires everyone finishing, and the slowest person is the loser.
Regardless, there will be one person plucked from that comp. It will either be a winner who is safe for the week or a loser who goes straight to jury. Again, either works. They just need an even number of people for the next part. Now, the person who wins/loses will likely pick the two teams (which leads me to think it’s more of a winner reward, but could also be a loser consolation prize)
From there, the two teams will have another split house as we have seen twice in recent seasons where they both basically have a final four situation. HoH is safe, PoV is safe, and the veto winner is the sole vote to evict.
After that, the house merges back with either 6 or 7 people, depending on the route they take. I am going to guess 7 because there are a few two hour episodes looming, and they really can’t afford to evict three this week. However, if they do two, that creates 7 next Friday and the chance of more double evictions or even a two hour triple.
Let’s just break down the calendar….
- Thursday 9/4 – Jury begins down to 9 people
- Tuesday 9/9 – (possible) reveal of evicted person. Down to 8 or 9
- Wednesday 9/10
- Thursday 9/11 – (possible) two evictions. Down to 6 or 7
- Wednesday 9/17 – 2 hour
- Thursday 9/18 – 2 hour (possible) Double or Triple eviction – Down to 4
- Sunday 9/21
- Wednesday 9/24
- Thursday 9/25 – 90 minute (Down to 3)
- Sunday 9/28 Finale
The only problem with my entire theory is the Blockbuster. Nobody said it was over, so if it is not, they really can’t do a split house of 4/4.
What are your thoughts?
