Big Brother 27-Recap for Tuesday, July 22nd

Good morning, This house is turning into the war of the women this week. Last week was Jimmy vs Keanu, with a bit of Rachel thrown into the mix. This week, the women said ‘hold my beer.’ Some of the issues were already simmering but it feels like someone (Ashley, Morgan, Katherine) turned the dial up on the stove.

For an overview, Morgan hates Katherine and likes Ashley. Ashley secretly wants to target both Morgan and Katherine. Katherine hates Ashley and more recently Morgan too, since Morgan stuck up for Ashley when Katherine was talking about her. When talking about the vote and evicting Amy, Katherine said “but Ashley will still be in the house.” Morgan clapped back and said “there’s nothing wrong with Ashley being in the house.”

Rachel led a yoga session:

Most of the women like Lauren but Morgan may want her out too (even tho she’s not saying it) since she likes Zach but Zach likes Lauren. Lauren and Katherine don’t seem to like any of the women, except for Ava and maybe Kelley.

Morgan and Mickey want to work with Rachel but Ashley may be convincing Rachel that Morgan isn’t sincere about it. Meanwhile, Rachel thinks Ashley and Amy are her two closest allies. However, Ashley and Amy spent much of the weekend and Monday shit talking Rachel behind her back.

Amy blamed Rachel for being on the block. Ashley didn’t think Rachel had their backs after Rachel wanted Ashley to help her clean the bathroom.

Rachel scrubbing the floor in heels:

Keep in mind, most of these things are still a secret but it’s starting to ooze out. Alot of that has to do with both Morgan and Ashley talking too much. Morgan’s told anyone who would listen, they need to target Katherine.

Ashley tells everyone everything ALL THE TIME.

After Amy told Rachel, being here friend was why she was on the block, Rachel gave her some space and started gaming with Mickey and Morgan more. They’re already working together but they started talking more game than before. Initially, they were trying to see if they could turn Keanu back around and maybe use him to go after Jimmy for them.

After Rachel and Keanu continued to get into it the other day, she gave up. Morgan tried her hand at it but came back to Rachel and said it won’t work. They laughed and agreed that Keanu simply hates Rachel. For now, they don’t think it would be possible to work with Keanu.

Sorry for all this extra detail but I’m trying to paint the picture of where things were at heading into yesterday. Ashley, who’d just told Amy that Rachel wasn’t on their side, started trying to turn Rachel against Morgan.

Things get a little confusing when talking about Ashley because her strategy so far, has been trying to pit everyone against everyone. (either that or she just likes stirring up shit) It’s too soon to tell if Ashley has a strategic mind or if she just can’t keep her mouth shut.

Something else that may have not been made clear yet is that Morgan, Rachel and Mickey trust Ashley. They think Ashley’s with them. Ashley’s talked about all 3 of them needing to be targeted to a variety of people.

Yesterday, Ashley told Rachel that Morgan said she was leaning towards evicting Amy because Amy would be a vote for Rachel in jury. This has obviously made Rachel think she has to be careful around Morgan.

Morgan is close to Zach and they’ve debated the Amy vs Will vs Adrian vote this week. It was mostly a Will vs Adrian talk becauae most everyone is ok with Amy leaving this week. Zach pushed for Adrian to stay and later, he talked to the cameras. He said he needed to be careful about pushing too hard because he didn’t want Morgan to realize he was close to Adrian. Morgan thinks she can use Adrian to help her game, not realizing he’s not on her side.

Ashley’s been spending time with Adrian too. She and Mickey even gave him campaigning tips. (Good ones too)

In private, Ashley spilled alot of game info to Adrian.

Ashley is one of the people Adrian had said he would nominate if he won the hoh. I don’t know if that’s changed now since she’s been spending more time with him and sharing info. (I doubt it but mainly because of Zach) Adrian talked to the cameras and said Zach was his #1.

Adrian also FINALLY told Kelley they had to separate a little bit this week. Adrian is one of the few people who spends time with Kelley. After going on the block, he was doing it way too much.

A few people told him it could hurt his chances to stay if people thought he was too linked up with Kelley and Keanu. She didnt seem happy about it.

Kelly and Keanu keep being linked together too. They’re not together and Kelley’s even said she would put Keanu on the block. I think they’re fake together for now because they were both against Jimmy after the noms. Vinny is also fake working with Keanu and Kelley does whatever Vinny does.

Adrian finally started campaigning but it was very awkward. Keanu, for maybe the first day, didn’t have alot going on yesterday. His biggest contribution was telling almost anyone who would listen how he’s controlled Jimmy’s hoh. Remember, he believes Will went on the block at his request. (Jimmy already planned to put will on the block but let Keanu think he was doing him a favor)

Rachel and Ashley discussed how it may be harder to get the votes for Amy to stay this week than last week. They also talked about Keanu’s obsession with Rachel and Morgan’s crush on zach.

Rachel also gave Will and Amy and pep talk and said to try to enjoy the week if they could. She also kept trying to motivate Amy to campaign. Amy kept saying later, and Rachel kept saying later is NOW. She knows the odds arn’t looking good for Amy this week but wants her to try.

It was ironic that while Amy was in the backyard talking shit about Rachel, Rachel was in the house looking for clues or advantages or anything that might save Amy this week.

Morgan and Vinny talked about the plan for the week. They also talked about wanting both Jimmy and Rachel to make it to jury. Morgan was also feeling Vinny out a little bit to see if he might be willing to cut Jimmy early.

She’s pissed Jimmy didn’t listen to her this week and she hasn’t let him forget it. Yesterday, Jimmy said he didn’t want Amy or Will to leave and Morgan tols him he shouldn’t have put themm both on the block. Haha

As it headed into the afternoon, Adrian did more campaigning. Morgan told him she wouldn’t keep him over Will, but she might keep him over Amy. (They all act like they HAVE to divulge this info this year and it’s kinda funny) Everyone was more careful last year because two of the three people campaigning are going to stay in the house. Morgan told Adrian he was on the block because he was seen as a trio with Kelley and Keanu.

Rachel gets dressed up for conversations she thinks may be on the episodes:

Rachel tried to do some campaigning for Amy too. She tried to convince people that Adrian was with Keanu so they should keep Amy. Zach pushed back and said Adrian told him that he would put Keanu on the block.

Zach and Vinny discussed Rachel and getting rid of Amy. Vinny thinks if they get rid of Amy, Rachel may work with them. They both agreed they’d like to have her in jury. Have I mentioned yet this cast talks about who they want in jury constantly? Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad thing to think about. Hell, it’s great if you can maneuver things to get a favorable jury. I do think it’s smart to get rid of people early that you think probably wouldn’t vote for you. I just can’t figure out why they discuss it so openly with almost everyone!

Vinny, Zach and Lauren talked about the vote. Lauren agreed with them and said she’d rather keep Adrian.

They had another family dinner, which they seem to have on the days Mickey cooks for them. Amy sat with them even though she’s miserable and complains about being a have not all the time.

Ava’s social skills were working overtime and she was making everyone laugh. There was talk about what if Jimmy shaved his head, Mickey asked if he knew what was underneath the hair and Ava said “probably two horns.” Haha Ava even got applause:

After dinner Ashley made sure everyone knew she refilled Brita pitcher from the frig. Most of them complain about Ashley doing nothing to help and Keanu even joked about nominating the person who kept putting it back in the fridge empty.

Afterwards, she went outside and Katherine and Lauren came over to chat. I don’t know why because it was the most awkward conversation ever.

Of course, Ashley’s very blunt and asked Katherine, who she would nominate. Katherine didn’t want to give her an answer so it mostly turned into chit chat about burping.

Later in the HOH room, Katherine went off to Lauren and said she wasn’t voting with the women this week and wasn’t keeping Amy. (Half the women already arn’t keeping Amy. Katherine’s not exactly the swing vote she thinks she is this week) She said she was going to target them instead. Lauren seemed relieved to hear it and said she was done with the girls thing too.

Ava doing a palm reading:

Katherine said keeping Amy only helps Rachel and said she wants to target Morgan, Mickey and Ashley. She said “these hoes haven’t won anything.” (They haven’t as long as you don’t count Ashley winning a veto, Mickey winning a power and I guess, Rachel winning an entire season of big brother, but sure)

Keanu, Vinny and Rylie mad a F3 called the Unexpendables. (I think that’s the name, but i’m not sure) It doesn’t matter because it’s not going to last any longer than most of these alliances.

Katherine had already told Rylie that Morgan was throwing his name out. He was mad and said he’d put “both those bitches on the block” referring to Morgan and Mickey.

While talking with Keanu and Vinny, he found out Morgan had also dropped his name to them. His response to that was, “I’ll cut her fucking head off.” (Damn dude, chill)

i don’t like Rylie’s game even though it seems to be working for him so far. He’s doing that thing that we occasionally get a player doing that I call the martyr strategy. He says things like ‘I don’t need the money, I’m not trying to win the money, I’m here for the experience and I want to help you win.’

Rylie stewed in the backyard and had a strange game chat with Kelley. She asked if he was good, but then started yelling game info from the balcony. Kelly asked, I mean yelled, asking if Rylie trusted Katherine.

She yelled out that Morgan didn’t trust her at all. (Yes, Morgan even talked to Kelley about Katherine) That’s about the time Morgan came outside. I don’t know if she heard it but honestly, I don’t know how she could have missed it.

Later in the evening, Rylie, Vinny and Katherine were sitting together in the backyard. Will, Ashley, Mickey and Morgan were on the other side of the yard. They said Katherine kept staring at them and Will even said it was creepy.

Morgan was doing her own bit of staring at Katherine. It really did feel like something was simmering. Morgan had popcorn and Katherine made a point to get up, walk over to Morgan, and ask for and I’m not kidding, ONE piece of popcorn. Morgan said yes but also pointed out there was popcorn where Katherine had been sitting. (I think either Vinny or Jimmy had it)

Once Rylie was alone, Ashley made her way over to stir up some more shit. Rylie talked about how he didn’t want to win anything because he didn’t want to put people on the block and so on. They talked about the usual game stuff and Ashley managed to work in something about no one caring or targeting him because he liked Katherine. Ashley said no one else liked Katherine, so it didn’t matter or something like that. Haha

I don’t know if this conversation is what got Rylie in a mood but afterwards, Katherine came over to talk to him. Rylie seemed defensive and said that she didn’t have to worry. He said he wouldn’t do anything to hurt her game, etc.

Katherine said she’d never said anything like that and they had an awkward chat.

Ashley delayed going to bed because I think she was trying to see how long Vinny, Morgan and Zach stayed up. She’s already told people she thinks the three of them are together. Morgan told Vinny and Zach that Rachel made some good points about keeping Amy. Vinny said “yeah, that’s what Rachel does.”Haha

Ashley’s told people she’s good with Zach. Meanwhile, Zach’s kind of moved on from talking about how worthless Amy is and talks alot about Ashley now. He says she’s annoying everyone and he can’t wait to make her a have not. He also told Vinny and Lauren, he believes Mickey has the third power. He told them about how he was standing near her during the comp right before the 3rd one was won.

Okay, I don’t fault Zach for whoever he wants to target, but I’m already a little tired of his “the women are too emotional” shit. Isn’t this the same guy who did this when another guy was evicted that he’d only known for less than two weeks? (Not knocking Zach for that either but hypocrite much?)

I haven’t gotten into alliances very much because I just don’t think they matter at this point. I’ve mentioned before most of them overlap. I’ve lost track of how many alliances Vinny, Morgan and Zach are even in. With it only week two, it makes more sense to talk about individual player positioning in the house.

For now, in my opinion, Zach and Mickey are positioned the best. Before yesterday, I think Will was the only person who’s even mentioned targeting Zach. (Mickey finally said it yesterday)

I’m also surprised Jimmy didn’t perk up and notice something Zach said at the beginning of his hoh week. After Jimmy asked Zach if he could pick him for the veto comp, Zach said he had three different people, asking him to play for them. (Keanu, Jimmy and Adrian) If you have three people supposedly on different sides wanting you to play for them, shouldn’t that tell you something?

Mickey needs to be careful since speculation is starting to spread about her having the 3rd power. Other than that, she may be insulated pretty well. When the Ashley Rachel, Morgan and Mickey group gets targeted, I could see Mickey being the last target. Her biggest blindspot, which is also Rachel and Morgans is Ashley. They really think Ashley’s with them but she isn’t. She also may not be entirely against them but we can’t tell yet. Ashley may just be spreading info to create distrust with everyone.

After Zach and Mickey, I think Vinny and Ava are in the best spots. I’m not saying it’s going to last, but for now, everyone wants to work with Ava, and everyone already thinks they’re working with Vinny. Even after a shit hoh, Vinny came out of it okay, at least for now. I think Rachel would put him on the block but she may be the only one

In a similar way, everyone loves Ava and wants to work with her. Most suggested alliances that come up include Ava. I think she’s too loyal to her Bond alliance and she’s probably the only one loyal to it. She’s going to need to branch out and get some side things going to have real longevity in the game. Otherwise, I could see her going up as a pawn at some point and almost accidentally being evicted because the person she’s against has more connections.

Morgan wants to keep Amy but Mickey’s decided to keep Adrian. I don’t know what she’s thinking with this one because Adrian basically told Mickey, he would target Morgan and Rachel. She thinks she got him turned around, but I wouldn’t believe it if I were her. She and Morgan had a pretty lengthy debate over it yesterday. (Mickey didn’t tell Morgan that Adrian threw out her name)

I think it’s a mistake for the Rachel/women’s group to keep Adrian. He’s definitely not on their side, but they haven’t figured that out. He also came in second to Kaycee in the veto comp and that could be bad for them. I expect the campaigning to ramp up today so have a great waffle Wednesday!
