It’s another waffle Wednesday but there isn’t much to waffle over. Everyone already knows what they’re doing tomorrow and yesterday was mostly a bunch of people lying to each other all day. Ava’s the swing vote again this week and she’s already made her decision. Lauren thinks she’s been the swing vote the past few weeks and even said this to Ava. (For the record, Lauren’s never been the swing vote)

Anytime Lauren or Kelley have tried to campaign to Ava for Vince, she shut it down. She’s told them she doesn’t trust Vince, said he put her on the block and said Ashley had her back last week. (True) She’s not voting out Ashley. She’s equally adamant about voting out Mickey over Vince and this is why there’s been some question over Mickey having votes.

Sometimes, this gets hard to decipher because they’re lying all the time. Basically, Rachel, Will and Ashley have lost trust in Mickey. However, they’d still rather keep Mickey over Vince. Morgan is the outlier since she wants to keep Vince ovwr Mickey. She secretly wants to keep Vince over Ashley too and she’s tried to hint at it to Will. (He’s NOT going to keep Vince over Ashley)

Mickey keeps making things worse for herself by telling Vince she’ll keep him over Ashley. This has gotten back to Will, Rachel and Ashley. They’re fairly sure she’s lying to Vince but it’s made them more nervous about her. They already had reasons to get rid of Mickey, but she’s making it worse.

If they can’t keep Mickey, they’re trying to act like they’re all in on the Judges alliance with Vince. They had another meeting and faked it for a while. Like Mickey, Vince and Morgan make it worse for him too. Everyone’s noticed the affection between them and it’s making them not trust Morgan as much either. I think they’re realizing Morgan will choose Vince over them and that’s a good reason to get him out.

Rachel’s been trying to figure out if Vince and Morgan are working with Keanu too. She’s noticed Morgan spending alot of time with Keanu this week when she never has before. She asked Vince about it, he said no but went straight to Keanu to tell him Rachel was asking about it.

Rachel checked in with Ava about the vote. Ava said she was keeping Ashley and they joked about their work being done for the day. Ava’s made it clear she doesn’t want to talk game all day, every day when there’s nothing left to talk about. I think she was even pretending to be sick yesterday to avoid talking Vince and Morgan. Ava told Will she was annoyed with Rachel after the veto meeting but said it wouldn’t change her vote.

As for the other side of the house, they’ve sort of become a group out of necessity. After losing the people they thought were their allies, I think they feel almost forced to work together. Lauren’s never wanted to work with Keanu but she’s ran out of options. Vince is working with him simply because Keanu THINKS they’re the remaining 2 of a F3 with Rylie.

Keanu told Morgan about their F3 early this morning when he was explaining why he put Vince on the block. He wanted Morgan to understand why he’d felt betrayed by Vince. I doubt anything will come of it and I don’t think Morgan will begin to question Vince. She’s still talking about “tearing the house apart” if Vince is evicted.

They briefly got a cornhole game. (I’m assuming leftover from the Labor day party) They played it indoors since they were locked out of the backyard but they’ve already had it taken away from them. (short lived fun) I don’t know if Kelley was deep in thought or just pissed off that Vince and Rachel were having fun together. Either way, while they played, she sat on the couch and

stared at nothing. Living in the house is probably hard enough. I can’t imagine doing it while constantly being in a bad mood.

I get it, she wants Rachel and Ashley gone. Big deal, everyone wants everyone gone. In the meantime, I never see her having any fun. I rarely see anyone from that side of the house having fun very often. Keanu plots, Lauren and Kelley complain and Vince panics and cries. (real fun group)

Mickey and Vince told each other they had each others votes but they were both lying. Mickey even insinuated to Vince, if she was sure she had the votes, she might not try very hard in the BB comp tomorrow. (I’m sure this was another lie)

I’ve listened to a couple of funny conversations that Mickey’s had to sit through too. One was with Vince, Ashley and Mickey. He was talking about keanu putting him on the block while saying he was his ally. Vince was saying “what kind of idiot would put an ally on the block?” Ashley chimed in to agree while Mickey sat there knowing she took out Jimmy. The second was Rachel, Ashley and Mickey. Ashley was saying Rachel had the most successful hoh so far and I don’t think Mickey like that one either. She realized a while back she made a mistake taking Jimmy out but I don’t think she’s realized her Mick-tator week was the start of her downfall with her alliance.

I also think Mickey’s realized her vote from Will isn’t guaranteed. Yesterday, she told Vince that Will was like a dad to her and Ashley was like a little sister. (She may be realizing Will’s favorite is his youngest child!) Morgan’s made the same mistake. Morgan’s trying to make an alliance with Will, Ava, Kelley, Vince and herself. This was when Morgan was telling Vince she thought she could get Will’s vote this week for Vince to stay.

Here’s my take on the players this week:

Obviously, these opinions are only based on this week. With this weird group of players, it changes often.

Keanu

I thought after winning the hoh and putting Vince on the block, he was starting to open his eyes in the game. Nope, he’s still as delusional as ever. He told Morgan early this morning, he’s sure they have Ava’s vote to keep Vince. (They absolutely do not have Ava’s vote) He’s gone back to saying if Rylie threw his name out, he’s sure he didn’t mean it. Keanu sees what he wants to see and he won’t accept anything else. He’s also still talking way too much and sharing too much information. I think he’ll have to comp out to get to the end and even if he does, I don’t think he wins.

Vince

Instead of spending this week trying to flip Ava, he’s whined and pouted. I think his only strategy this week trying to not have to compete at all. First, it was a plan to get Morgan to use the veto on him. When that didn’t work, he spent yesterday hoping Mickey will throw the BB comp to him. He sent Lauren and Kelley to work on Ava but thats about it.

Part of me thinks he’d never win a jury vote after the way he’s portrayed himself as so weak. The other part of me thinks Keanu, Lauren and Kelley would still give him their vote because why not? Vince better hope he or Ashley wins the block buster. He has a chance to stay against Mickey because Ava wants her gone. Even if Rachel and Will decided to keep Mickey, Vince could still get the votes because of Morgan.

Mickey

Her game’s still in the toilet (I finally remembered! It was Red who said “trlet”) She got rid of Jimmy over Vince after Morgan pushed for it. Now, Morgan may evict Mickey to keep Vince. She’s played way too messy and got caught pitting her alliance members against each. For some stupid reason, she told both Ava and Will she’d use them as pawns if she won hoh again. It’s not the only reason but that conversation has a lot to do with why Aca would be the swing vote to get rid of her. She also hasn’t been subtle about trying to work people like Lauren, Kelley and Katherine last week. If she can survive a little longer, I could actually still see her still winning the game. I could see it being an ‘all is forgiven’ kind of thing if she gets to the end. What’s pissing her allies off at the moment could be turned into good game play once they’re in jury. I think it would also depend on if she’s responsible for them being evicted or not though.

Ashley

She’s definitely the safest, even with getting a little sloppy this week. There’s still one remaining way she could lose Ava’s vote this week. Keanu’s told Ava that Ashley and Rachel were both pitching “hard” for her to go on the block. He was stretching the truth because Rachel was mostly pitching for Lauren to go up, although she did finally mention Ava to him. Ashley was careful not to suggest Ava to Keanu but she DID say it to Morgan. Keanu was even trying to get Morgan to tell Ava about it. Depending on how the info is presented, it could make a difference to Ava. Who knows?

I know Ashley’s strategy was to lay low and play dumb until they hit jury. Her strategy is working but it may be working too well. Keanu’a side of the house see her as useless and being carried in the game. That’s actually not true at all. Ashley’s had better reads on the house than most of her allies and for most of the season. I know she and Will want to keep Rachel to use her as a shield. I think that works for Will but it could backfire on Ashley. With her on the block, people like Lauren and Kelley talk about taking out Ashley as a way to weaken Rachel. A shield can be great but sometimes players take the hit when people can’t get a shot at the shield. If she really does plan to step things up, she could change the perception some of them have about her game. Instead of looking at Ashley as being carried, I think people should realize how many people are working hard to protect her.

Rachel

She’s got a little messy this week too. Whenever she and Keanu call a truce, it seems to last hours, not days. She better get him before he gets her and the same goes for Vince. I think she went too hard for Ashley this week and it’s showed people like Ava, she isn’t a priority to Rachel. (Not that Ava isn’t doing her own thing too, but still) The one thing that helps her with Ava was seeing how hard Rachel will go to protect the people she’s working with but even that has a catch. Ava’s mentioned how that makes Rachel an asset but she’s also said she’s realized Rachel may not go as hard for her as she does Ashley. Nothing much has changed for how I see Rachels game. She’s right up there with Keanu, Mickey and Vince as being the biggest targets in the house. Sure, she has Ashley and Will wanting to protect her but she used to have Mickey and Morgan too. She doesn’t have that anymore and so far, Ashley and Will haven’t been winning comps to protect her.

She should’ve never suggested Ava as a renom to Keanu and gave him that ammo to use against her. She also shouldn’t have proposed the alliance with Keanu, Vince and Morgan. It was just an attempt to keep Keanu from making Ashley the renom. When Keanu sees right through you, you know you’re not being very subtle.

Will

His position hasn’t really changed for me either. He’ll have to do something between now and the end to gain a bit of win equity but he’s in a good spot. He has Mickey, Morgan, Ashley and Ava all thinking they’re his #1. Rachel may not think that but she completely trusts him. He must be doing something right. I’d like to see him sharing info with his allies a bit quicker when he gets it, but other than that, he’s doing well.

Morgan

Subtle is not a word you can use to describe Morgan but most of the time she gets her way. She’s been spending a lot more time with Lauren, Kelley and Keanu this week. It may be working too because even though they don’t trust her, she’s at the bottom of their list for targets. They’re way more focused on Rachel, Ashley and Mickey. Unfortunately, everything she’s gaining with that side. She may be losing with her own. It’s not a secret anymore that she’ll choose Vince over them. She’s gotten a bit of a pass for wanting to keep Vince over Mickey since they’re all sick of Mickey anyway and they know Ava wont keep her. The radar started going up when she began hinting at keeping Vince over Ashley though.

They’ve also noticed how she’s started spending a lot of time with Keanu when he was her #1 target before this week. She doesn’t have a problem telling everyone Vince is her #1. At the same time, she told Vince she might could gets Wills vote because he may want to split up Rachel and Ashley. Using that same logic, why she can’t see how Will might prefer to split up Vince and Morgan?

Ava

For several weeks, Ava’s been the deciding vote and this week isn’t any different. (Yeah, I know Lauren thinks it’s her, but it’s Ava) She was irritated with Rachel this week because she felt like Rachel was questioning why Ava was talking to Keanu. Ava told Will that Rachel could talk to him so why couldn’t she? She said she had the right to have a conversation to keep herself off the block. It isn’t going to affect her decision this week and she does like Rachel. However, Rachel plays the game too hard for someone like Ava. I think it’s one of the reasons Ava’s drawn to Lauren. Lauren doesn’t push too hard and didn’t this week with Ava either.

Ava’s the one who suggested the F3 with Lauren and Kelley. She already has a F2 with Lauren and also one with Rachel. She’s also very close to Will. She may spend a lot of time in bed but Ava’s quietly playing the game. My favorite moment from her this week was when Keanu was trying to put in work for Vince to get Ava’s vote. Ava told him if Vince wanted her vote, he needed to come talk to her himself. When Keanu insinuated they needed her vote for him to stay, she reminded Keanu, he was the one who put him on the block. Once again, Ava’s going to roll out of bed on Thursday in time to decide who stays this week.

Lauren

She’s told Kelley and Ava she doesn’t trust Vince anymore but she’s still telling him everything. When she tried to sway Ava’s vote for him to stay, Ava turned it around and started trying to convince her to keep Ashley. When I say “tried to sway,” I’m being very generous. Lauren barely said anything at all and gave up immediately. However, she did go to Vince and tell him Ava didn’t trust him and said he needed to work on that this week. When Vince and Keanu suggested she have another conversation, she told them she thought she’d done enough. That sort of sums up Lauren’s game. She had one strategy conversation with someone she already likes, didn’t get what she wanted and is calling it a week. (Girl must be exhausted!)

She did manage to pick the lock of one of the drawers in the have not room and got it to open. She’s decided that’s her hiding spot if they have hide and go veto and yes, she’s already showed it to Vince. She does well in comps and may not be that easy to take out. If she stays, I can see a world where she wins the game. If she could make it to the end, she could get votes from Keanu, Kelley, Vince and Ava, (assuming they’re in jury) simply because they like her.

Kelley

Kelley’s been a bit quieter since she realized we can hear everything she says. It’s not stopped her from continuing to lie alot in an attempt to make Rachel look bad. For example, she came into the room when Rachel and Lauren were talking. Rachel invited her to stay and moved over to give her a spot on the bed to sit. Kelley even gave Rachel a hug.

Shortly after, Kelley started telling people that Rachel hadn’t spoken to her in 3 weeks. (Haha)

She’s done a lot of talking trying to get them to take Ashley out this week instead of Mickey. She’s told Lauren that Ava isn’t helping their final 3 by voting to keep Ashley. If she can’t get Rachel, she wants Ashley and I think that’s played a part in her bad mood lately. I still don’t see a world where Kelley can win this game.

That’s it for me ya’ll so have a great Wednesday!
