Yesterday was all about the veto and will she or won’t she? Lauren’s been agonizing over what to do with her veto, and it’s been agonizing for us to listen to and watch. She wants to avoid letting everyone know how close she is to Vince. The problem is, everyone’s already figuring that out because she’s making the decision so long and drawn out.

HOH comp:

For a quick review, Rachel won the hoh and I liked the comp. (I also thought last night was a really good episode over all) I can do without the fake scary movie screams and bad acting, but the comp itself, was pretty cool.

I was a teen in the 80’s and the clothing alone is terrifying enough! Production is killing it with the costumes so far this season.

Not gonna lie, when I first saw Rachel in this dress on the feeds, I just assumed it was one of her own dresses:

Mickey, Morgan and Vince were nominated. Both Mickey and Morgan acted like Rachel had betrayed them. Morgan mistakenly thinks she was put up soley for saying she’d like to have rachel in jury. (Wrong)

Am I the only one who got vibes of Lola from Shark Tale when Rachel wore this dress? She’s still overdressed in a house, in a parking lot, where half the cast is wearing sweatpants but I didn’t hate the dress.

Mickey’s somehow managed to forget all the things coming out of her mouth from the days leading up to the hoh comp. According to Mickey, she’s never said anything to anyone ever about targeting Rachel. She’s convinced herself Rachel’s going overboard to retaliate over Jimmy. (Wrong again) You’d think they could’ve figured out how they ended up otb with the M&M’s, right?)

Lauren won the OTEV veto on Saturday so ‘comp beast Morgan,’ who hasn’t won a comp, may be realizing she isn’t gonna just win everything this season. Morgan’s already asked Lauren if she’d throw the wall comp to her if possible. She’s been trying to bond with Lauren this weekend over their love of Zach. It isn’t going to work because Morgan is the only one obsessed with Zach. Lauren was sad to see him go, but she’s already moved on. Morgan, on the other hand, was pulling Zachs toothbrush out of the trash and saving it.

Morgan gave herself an extra uphill battle with Lauren. It’s not like Lauren would ever use it on Morgan over Vince anyway but Morgan didn’t help the situation. For some unknown reason, Morgan decided to tell Lauren, she’d probably have to use Lauren as a pawn in an upcoming week. Haha (Why would you ever say this to anyone?) I think this was the same conversation when she asked Lauren if she would use a veto on herself? (I’m assuming Morgan was trying to find out if Lauren would be willing to stay otb when Morgan put her up) haha

I guess she got this great idea from Mickey because she’s been doing the same. She talked openly about needing to use Ava for a pawn when she back doored Rachel and it’s gotten back to Ava. I’m pretty sure one of them mentioned using Will as a pawn too but I can’t remember for sure so don’t take that one as fact.

Rachel’s continued to try and school Keanu on the BB streets. She’s tells him he plays messy, talks too much and has a horrible read on the house. (All of these things are true) Rachel will take one step forward and Keanu drags her two steps back. I have to admit, I’m enjoying watching them attempt to work together.

Ashley was the biggest surprise to me over the weekend. I understand she feels the need to continue to work with Mickey for now. (She didn’t know how much Mickey’s talked about getting rid of her) What I didn’t understand was why Ashley lied to Rachel and fought so hard to keep Mickey off the block. She kept trying to convince Rachel that Mickey had never said anything bad about her. She’d just told her the night before that Mickey was going to target her. She’s also the one who told Rachel just last week she couldn’t trust Mickey.

It was weird but apparently short lived. Yesterday, she told Will she regretted trying to go to bat for Mickey. Will, Ashley, Ava and a little bit Morgan, have started comparing notes on Mickey. They’ve started to figure out the game Mickey’s playing and they don’t like it. Even before that happened yesterday, they’d listened to Mickey, talk about targeting Rachel. After that, they listened to Mickey say she’d never talked about targeting Rachel.

Rachel appears to have gotten Ashley back a little bit, but I’m guessing she’s taken note of Ashley’s flip flopping this week. Ava, who’d also been a bit under Mickeys spell, seems to be snapping out of it too. She said, Mickey made this bed, and she’s not lying in it with her. Will said he’s not sharing game info with Mickey anymore. (Will’s the one I believe the least because he just agrees with everyone but who knows?)

Dinner outside:

Lauren had talks with everyone about using the veto. Keanu, Katherine and Rylie told her she shouldn’t use it and promised Vince would be safe. Initially, she was leaning towards not using it. Both Vince and Morgan put on the pressure and laid on the guilt yesterday to get her to change her mind.

Morgan’s tactic is to remind Lauren that if she’s on the block Thursday, she’ll go home. She’s taken back that comment she made about using her as a pawn too. Haha

Vince’s approach has been a bit softer. He’s told her he understands if she doesn’t want to use it but thinks she should. He said people have already figured out they’working together, so it doesn’t matter. Both Lauren and Vince had to talk for hours in order to gather up the courage to have a conversation with Rachel about it.

Normally, I’d say use the veto on your F2 and don’t worry about who gets mad. This one’s a little different because Lauren really wants Mickey to leave this week. She thinks (and I agree) Mickey has the best chance of leaving if the noms don’t change. I also think Mickey leaving is good for Lauren’s game. I agree that if someone like Kelley goes on the block, they could potentially get the votes to go ahead and get rid of her instead. Lauren is working with Kelley and doesn’t want her to go. (I also think this is the correct call)

Both Vince and Lauren have tried to figure out who Rachel would put on the block if she takes him off. Rachel’s not giving up any info as to who the renom would be. Everyone’s assuming it would be Ashley or Kelley.

Rachel shouldn’t put up Rylie or Katherine this week if it can be avoided. There’s only so many battles you can fight at the same time. Unfortunately for Rachel, she had no choice. She had to deal with Mickey and Morgan before she can even think about the other two.

Plus, there’s been more talk about targeting the ‘shomance’ by other people. No one but Rachel and Keanu were planning on targeting Mickey. Rachel is the only one (maybe Ashley) who wants to target Vince. She needed to target the people coming after her and they happen to be the same people everyone else will leave in the game. When Rachel ends up otb is the time to start suggesting Rylie and Katherine be targeted over her.

Rachel needing to put Kelley on the block would be bad for her but only for the reason that she needs a bigger target imo. She’s been trying for weeks to create a working relationship with Kelley. Kelley’s already told people everything Rachel was telling her AND she’s still planning to target Rachel. Losing Kelley would be no big loss to Rachel. However, she NEEDS to take out Mickey, Morgan or Vince this week.

Rachel knows Kelley isn’t a big enough move. She still wouldn’t tell but she insinuated to Keanu she may have to put up Rylie. He argued against it because he thinks ka Rylie ia loyal to him. (He isn’t)

Rachel also said if Lauren used the veto, maybe she’d put someone up who would give Mickey the best chance to stay. She said they already think she wants to blow up the whole house so maybe she will.

Lauren decided to sleep on it again so we’ll know soon enough. It’s a no brainer that if anyone comes off the block, it’s going to be Vince. Lauren doesn’t want to make a decision about anything or have to have conversations about it. She may have decided last night she’s using it and just didn’t want to say it out loud yet. Who knows?

After Lauren’s talk with Rachel about the veto, Lauren met up with Vince and Morgan in the storage room. Rachel followed her in and said she didn’t need to talk to them to make her decision. Lauren left and Rachel told Vince and Morgan “real classy guys.” It seems like an odd thing to say, but hey, it’s Rachel.

Rachel may not have the best one liners but it still works on most of this cast. Vince and Morgan stuttered around, trying to explain. Rachel told them she thought Lauren was about to cry over it and they shouldn’t be pressuring her. (Yeah, they actually should if they want off the block)

Rachel tried to convince Keanu that he can’t trust Rylie, the same way she did about Vince. Keanu’s certain she’s wrong. (She’s right…about both)

Rylie’s in a constant mood. He’s rude, he’s hateful, he’s whiny and I can’t imagine wanting to be around him. Hopefully, his fake exterior is starting to slip away and the rest of the house can begin to see him in a different light. We know Katherine’s seen it and is also having to deal with it. More people than Katherine are going to need to pick up on it though, in order for him to become a target.

Mickey and Morgan had dinner alone. They spent the time mostly shit talking Rachel. Mickey believes Rachel is playing a terrible game…. Rachel is the hoh and Mickey’s ass is on the block, so go figure?

My hope is that someone puts Rylie and Katherine on the block together. Initially, Katherine will probably be the target because that’s been the talk in the house. Rylie may handle going on the block so poorly, hopefully the target will switch. That’s what i’m hoping for anyway.

I have no idea what Lauren will do today. If I had to guess, (which I am) I’d say she’s going to take Vince off the block. Guessing again, either Rylie or Kelley will go up in his place.

Have a great Monday!
