Good morning, it was a slow day in the house but that’s to be expected. One thing I’ve enjoyed about this season in the end game is how many people are in the house. I didn’t like the way they eliminated instead of evicted Rachel but I do like how they’ve loaded the end with more players. We’ve said for years, they need more players at the end and could do more than one eviction a week. It keeps the last couple of weeks from being as dead in the house.

Morgan and Vince may not be fun to watch but we can’t deny they’ve at least given us something to watch. Usually, the final week has 3 people in the house, all of them doing their own thing with occasional convos when one of them goes to the diary room. At least we’ve avoided that this year.

For a weekend refresher, Vince won the hoh and Morgan won the tiny veto, which they call “mini veto.” The hoh comp was Keanu’s to lose and he did by losing focus. He was using one hand, standing on one leg, etc. This same comp lasted about 10 hours last season and around 1hour this time. It became obvious, the reason was because the mask they were trying to hold up was a lot heavier than when they’ve done this comp in the past. Ashley and Ava never had a chance. If Keanu hadn’t been playing fast and loose with it, neither did Vince.

Ava and Keanu are on the block, Morgan doesn’t plan on using her veto and she told Keanu yesterday. She said if it was reversed, he wouldn’t use it either. He agreed this was true. Ashley’s also told him she’s voting him out.

Morgan celebrated her birthday in the house with wine, cake, cake pops and a steak dinner. Ava worked on the desserts and they got their messages from home. Everyone’s was from their parents, except Ava’s was from her boyfriend and parents. She’d said often,, she wondered if her boyfriend still liked her. At least she’ll know now, he still does.
Ava made cake pops and decided to eat her steak the same way, I guess???

As for Vince, I don’t know what he was thinking since his girlfriend wasn’t included in his mesaage. He seemed a bit off after they saw them and also surprised. He said his parents didn’t want anything to do with making his BB intro package so was surprised they did the video message. (Was it surprise or just uncomfortable confirmation?)
Morgan and Vince are still sleeping head to foot in order to be appropriate. I think they’ve invented the platonic 69:

Look, I don’t know the status of his girlfriend situation and I don’t really care. She’s not on the show so that’s why I haven’t talked about it very much. I do know she’d moved to another state at some point so maybe they were on the verge of splitting anyway. They also could’ve been on the verge of getting married for all I know. Either way, it’s none of my business and there’s plenty of game related things to criticize Vince over.

Most of the weekend was spent either rehashing things that happen this season or spilling some new info amongst themselves. At one point, Ashley got tired of listening to Keanu talk about what a great game he’d played. They argued a bit because she told him he was wrong. Keanu looked over at Vince and said, Ashley didn’t know anything. (Everything she said was true, by the way)

This happened during their dinner and with a bit of alcohol. Ava, who didn’t want her cheese dip spoiled, asked them to stop. Actually, she asked them to leave the table and take their convo into another room. Keanu had said something about Rachel being his #1 and Ashley said he wasn’t. She asked why he tried so hard to get her evicted if Rachel was his #1. Keanu followed that up by announcing to Vince (and everyone else) he couldn’t win the game…again.

This prompted Ava to tell them they didn’t need to talk about people who were already gone and said they should move on. (Ava, who can’t stop talking about Rachel) Somehow Ava, the one person who didn’t really have anything to do with the conversation, managed to be the most obnoxious person in it. I think Ava thinks she’s the only person allowed to talk about anyone else and apparently, you have to do it behind their backs. The only times she’s gotten very upset and “popped off” to someone were times when she really overreacted.

Ava’s mood appears to be getting worse as the season comes to an end. I don’t think it’s entirely about her chances of winning the game. She told Ashley she was dreading seeing Rachel and thought Rachel was going to be really mad at her. We had to listen to another story about Ava’s arm practically being ripped out of the socket. Ashley, not one to ever let an opportunity pass, brought up other things about Ava and Rachel. Ashley said “you know, Kelley’s going into jury and telling Rachel everything you’ve said about her.” (It’s been alot)

Don’t get me wrong, Ava’s no worse than the rest of them. They all talk about each other behind their backs. Ava just likes to pretend she doesn’t and I enjoy the moments their hypocrisy gets called out. Ava’s called Rachel every name you can think of but she got pissed at Ashley because Ashley said Lauren was boring.

We don’t know the details of the “unique eviction” but what we do know is, Keanu is the one who will be leaving. Morgan and Ashley are so tired of the way Ava acts, they said if Keanu wouldn’t dominate in comps, they’d love to get rid of Ava. (Don’t get your hopes up. They’re not, they just said they’d like to do it)

Keanu said he can’t wait to see analysis of his game and I hope he follows through with it. First, he wouldn’t believe Rachel and now he won’t believe Ashley. Normally, I wouldn’t care but I really hope he gets the opportunity to understand how bad of a game he played. It’s only because a day doesn’t go by that he doesn’t call everyone else dumb and say he’s the only one that can play. He doesn’t just say it to the cameras, he says it to the players. He’s also spent the season telling them no one can beat him in the end. Now, he’s saying they’re dumb for wanting to vote him out. (???)

He went into the game the first week wanting a large bro alliance. He tried to put one together by going around telling people what they were going to do it and they were dumb if they didn’t do it. Because of this, he didn’t get off to the best social start. Rachel, who wanted to work with him, put in work with Vince not to nominate him the first week. (He was definitely going to be put up by Vince) She also tried to tell Keanu but he didn’t believe her. In the first week, he already knew everything. Rachel wasn’t a bro so working with her wasn’t going to happen.

He linked up with both Rylie and Vince, who were both lying to him. I remember Keanu telling Rylie, they needed to start thinking about taking out Katherine. Even though he didn’t get the response he wanted, Keanu decided Rylie wanted to do it anyway. Week after week, Vince would make a move that was in direct opposition of them working together. Instead of pivoting away from Vince, he simply tried to force Vince to do what he wanted.

As recent as this week, Ashley tried telling Keanu, Vince was not going to choose him over Morgan. Vince was the least bro-i-est of all the bros, so you’d think Keanu would’ve figured this out for himself. Vince has avoided Keanu as much as he could all season. In recent weeks, Vince has spent almost 24 hours a day with Morgan but sure, he’s getting ready to cut her. I can sympathize with someone who gets blindsided but that’s not what happened to Keanu. Everything he needed was right there for him to see. He simply chose not to see it because he didn’t want it to be that way and he couldn’t be wrong.

He’s not the only one saying stupid stuff and I’m not picking on Keanu. He’s just the one getting ready to leave so I’m bring his game up this morning. I’ll cover everyone else’s idiotic gameplay on Wednesday. (Morgan’s the best player left in the house and she’s definitely going to be a lower tear winner if she wins)

For all the Keanu supporters, I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t win AFP so that”s something at least. (Ava will be shocked when she doesn’t win) From what I can tell, Keanu has some live feeder support but the majority of the tv only viewers. Since the casual viewer makes up of the majority, they usually decide AFP. Keanu’s gotten an amazing edit on the episodes this season so I think he’ll take it. (It’s like how alot of the tv only viewers still love Rylie) There’s a push among live feeders to try to give it to Rachel since she got screwed by the twist. As I said, we’re not the majority tho and alot of the casual viewers don’t like Rachel. (No, I’m not saying all the live feeders do)

Without a twist or surprise that keeps Keanu, the biggest questions remaining are will Morgan win her way to the end? Will she take Vince to the end? Will Vince cut Morgan if he gets the chance? I think at this point, both Vince and Morgan still plan to try to go to the end together. It’s risky for Vince since cutting Morgan may be the only way he wins this game. I think Morgan beats any of them as long as she makes it there.
Ashley studying:

The next hoh could be anyone’s but if tradition holds, I’d be surprised if anyone other than Vince or Morgan wins the next veto. There’s usually a physical component to the F4 veto comp. Even if Morgan doesn”t win the hoh, if she or Vince wins the veto, they’d control who leaves anyway.
Morgan studying:

Ashley and Ava have both been planting seeds to Vince about needing to take out Morgan. Without comp wins, it’s about all they can do. For now, it doesn’t sound like Vince is planning on making that move. When he camera talked, he was psyching himself up saying he still thought there was a way he could beat Morgan in a F2.

As for who should win, I guess that’s for us to debate and the jury to decide. I’ve seen many people online thinking Rachel’s going to have a ton of influence in the jury, but I’m not so sure. We have to remember, even if she does, Rachel’s always put more emphasis on comp wins than strategy. If she doesnt, I see this being a season where they just vote for who they like more. I think they’ll vote for purely personal reasons and justify it with bullshit reasons. With this particular season, do we expect anything else?

If this seasons strategy or lack of it has left you feeling disappointed, you should watch the 3 seasons of the Traitors. It’s everything Big Brother has the potential to be, but isn’t. Yes, it’s a little overly dramatic at times but more in that murder mystery weekend kind of way. If you combine a murder mystery game with comps a bit more similar to Amazing Race comps, get rid of the goo and the fart jokes from BB but add in a lot of strategy, that’s the Traitors. It’s on Peacock and if you don’t have a subscription, you can always just buy one month, binge watch all three seasons and cancel it. Have a great Monday.
