Good evening, everyone!
It was a pretty eventful week in the Big Brother house with what seemed like an absolute given turning into a semi-nail biter that very easily could have gone the other way if the house had competent players remaining.
Brittany started the week set on voting out Alyssa, but slowly flipped to wanting to keep her. Meanwhile, Turner started the week slowly working to keeping Alyssa only to bail at the end and vote her out. And that move will almost certainly result in Turner finishing the game in third place with Monte and Taylor making the final 2.
After this week, I’m fine with that. I was always fine with Monte making the final 2, but I felt Turner played a better game than Taylor until this week. He showed off his piss poor jury management skills by lying to Alyssa all week and decided going to the end with a likely showmance was the better decision than a girl who hasn’t won a comp all season.
Brittany didn’t play much better as she spilled her desire for getting out Taylor (who will still be in the house in an hour) and then just having weird conversations with Turner about how she’s going to vote out Alyssa in an attempt to get Turner to give Alyssa a pity vote. Rather than, you know, sitting him down and saying he has a significantly better shot at winning the game if he sticks with Brittany and Alyssa over Taylor and Monte.
That said, given this season and Big Brother as a whole, it’s entirely possible she was worried about the optics of that. While I see Turner having the option between two weak players vs two strong players, Twitter would see it as a black vs white thing and Brittany is already on thin ice when it comes to that. Because let’s be real, even Taylor fans can see she’s a stronger player than Britt and Alyssa, so if you take everything else out, going to the end with weaker players is always better – especially when you had a pretty mediocre game yourself.
So, Alyssa should be gone and then Brittany barring a competition win on her part and then we’ll have the back and forth discussions on who each final 3 member would take to the end if they won on finale night. Spoiler alert – Turner has to win the final round of the HoH if he wants to see the f2 chair.
Ugh I try not to make these too long so you don’t need to scroll all the way down to read the updates, but you can also refresh the home page and see updates there!
