Big Brother 27 – Saturday Feed Updates 7/19
Good afternoon, everyone!
Happy Saturday! And I was just about to post that this is the first Saturday in the house, but then remembered it’s just the first Saturday of feeds in the house. Then I had to look at the calender to double check and sure enough, we’ve only had the feeds since Sunday night! I feel like I know this cast so well already and it’s been a lot longer than a few days (of feeds).
Today is the veto competition, and Jimmy, Adrian, Kelley, and Keanu will be playing. Two of them already have extra veto powers, and from the sounds of Keanu’s, he has ‘double’ a chance to win. That got my brain going trying to figure out what that means because it’s hard to have a double chance in a comp vs 5 other people. Let me explain.
Let’s say it’s a competition where they are keeping score, you would think ‘double’ chances would mean that Keanu’s score is just doubled. However, I would think that gives more than a double chance to win, depending on the game. An example would be having 5 players all equal skill in a basketball game. One player gets 2x points for every basket. There is virtually a 90%+ chance that player leads in scoring by end of game.
That’s why I am thinking it may be something more in line with ‘attempts’ vs score. Think the slingshot comp where they pull back and aim at targets on the board. Keanu getting 2 attempts with the best score counting does make more sense, so that is the type of comp I am expecting today. Any comp where they take turns – even if it’s just luck like plinko. Keanu will likely just get two attempts to everyone else’s one. Doesn’t guarantee him a win, but does boost his odds a bit.
Wow, I just rambled about odds. I guess I’m trying to piece together the comp based on someone having 2x chance without giving them a 100% chance. Make sense? Good.
Moving on, last night was a bit crazy. Inside the HoH room, a majority of the girls and Jimmy were in the HoH room and holy shit at one point they were literally all talking at the same exact time and I thought I was going crazy. I am so not fit to live in a house like that lol
Other than that, it was a relatively slow day. Plenty of shit talking about Kelley. While Kelley did her own shit talking back – especially against Rachel. The tension is building in the house, and it could get higher if Keanu wins veto today and Kelley also saves herself with her power. Jimmy will not only cry about that, but he’ll mention how he had to nominate 5 people in his week. Yea, definitely not ideal, but that’s the downfall of winning early HoH.
If that situation happens, right now I would expect Rylie and Amy to be replacement noms which would be wild as there is no favorite to go home out of that bunch. Right now they’re picking players, so I’m going to publish this and update in feed updates when it happens
Apparently they were pissed that Keanu used his power and didn’t tell people?
And Amy was pumping her up a bit
Kelley said Amy told her a few things about her (K) and she (A) was right about them all. Basically Amy pegged Kelley exactly what she would have done (votes, etc)
He knows he’ll likely have to replace both Keanu and Kelley
But when she wants to use it during the veto ceremony she will have to win a little comp and if she wins, she will take herself off the block.
and they called her in and got on to her bc she isn’t allowed to lie about her power.
She told Zach he has to know why the 2 of them were casted. Zach told Kelley that he KNOWS and he even told Lauren that she is exactly his type.
Duh…Jimmy has no other choice. Keanu wants will otb. Jimmy says if he does put Will up, will Keanu promise not to put him (J) up if he (K) wins HoH next week? Yes…they agree.
Kelley is like ‘As long as we keep up our mean girl bullshit’. … Rachel was like ‘well, I’m not being a mean girl…’ lol good start to their alliance
Jimmy says ‘Okay so we’re going to put you up this week’ and Lauren gasps and is like ‘okay’ and starts to panic. Jimmy says she’s just kidding. She takes a deep breath. Poor girl lol
I’d guess most of the rest went to bed.
