Good evening, everyone!

Before I begin, Lala is not confirmed HN. I keep hearing she is, I keep hearing she’s eating food. I will confirm for certain but it looks like she’s not. I was sleeping last night when the feeds returned so I don’t know and haven’t noticed today.

Anyway, Friday in the BB house is done as far as ‘game’ goes, so let’s cover what happened…

  • Kamu won HoH

  • He nominated Lala, Lyric, and Mallory.

  • None are happy (nor are they expected to be)

  • Devens was picked this week and won the diamond power of veto

  • The powers and punishments were revealed on Unlocked

So let’s go through them, shall we?

  • Replay – You can play back to back HoH. Meh

  • Mystery Competitor – Someone from the past comes back and plays for you in the veto. Typically someone who is good at that comp

  • Never-Not Pass – Can’t be a HN for rest of season

  • BB Bribe – I forget specifics but you pay someone $5k to do something you want (vote a certain way, etc)

  • Diamond Power of Veto – After veto, you use your veto and you also get to name the replacement nom

  • Coin of Destiny – You flip a coin with the HoH to take their power (Claire did this in BB23)

Here are the punishments:

  • Lord of the Latrine – Where you have to announce when people are using the bathroom (Dx did it BB23)

  • Hamazon – You eat a ton of ham.

  • Camp Guide – You set up a camp, make hot dogs and take down the camp on command

  • Adam & Eve – Two people are tethered together in a skimpy outfit

  • Red Unitard – The classic from Jen

I am hoping for Lord or the Latrine and Camp Guide. The guide was absolutely brutal. I think it was Alex who had to set up a camp and just the entire setup cooking and takedown process took a solid hour or so. It gets old when you do that a dozen times.

The powers are pretty weak after DPOV. Mystery Competitor is nice and the coin is cool for a chance to take over HoH. Replay, meh. Bribe, meh. Never-Not, meh.

So it was quite the Friday and now that noms are in, let’s hope for a little drama going.

  1. BB28 Feed Update – Jul 24, 4:23 PM PT

    Devens won the Diamond Power of Veto and is only telling Dee about it for now. It lets him pull someone off the block at the veto ceremony and replace them with anyone not already safe, good for the next 6 weeks. Nomination ceremony is happening now, expected noms are LaLa, Lyric and Mallory.

  3. BB28 Feed Update – Jul 24, 5:55 PM PT

    Feeds are back after the nom ceremony, presumed Kamu put up LaLa, Lyric and Mallory as planned. House is pretty quiet, Kamu found LaLa in the gym and gave her a hug asking how she’s doing. Also Rome mentioned he would’ve nommed Dee, Angela or Devens instead, so that take is floating around.

  6. BB28 Feed Update – Jul 24, 6:26 PM PT

    Kamu’s HOH noms are Lyric, Mallory and LaTrice, with Devens landing the Diamond Power of Veto from the Time Capsule twist. LaTrice is spiraling in her pod after talking to Kamu about her nom reasoning, says she’s putting on her big girl panties and fighting for the veto. Meanwhile Jason has figured out he’s the backdoor target and is scrambling, wants to confront Dee and Angela and pitch himself to work with them against Kamu/Chuk, while Taylor and Lala are trying to talk him down from tipping his hand.

  7. BB28 Feed Update – Jul 24, 6:53 PM PT

    A little bit ago Lala & Jason concocted a plan of things they’re going to plant into Dee’s head Haley’s head Devens head & Angela, Of course things that were not true but they’re trying to break apart the group. Jason is currently speaking to Dee and starting that process of filling her head with BS.

    Kamu has nominated LaLa, Lyric, and Mallory with Jason as the real backdoor target. Word got out though, Jason, Taylor, and LaLa all figured out or heard the plan, and LaLa rushed to assure Kamu she wasn’t the leak. Kamu believes her and is now looking at Haley as the source of the leak. Jason is making rounds venting to Dee about Angela and Haley stirring things up.

    Jason tells lyric that he knows she was just put up as a pawn and that they plan on doing to him what they did to Rome and back door him.

    Mallory & Melody get Drew into the SR and are filling him in how Jason thinks he is going to be the back door option. Alao, how he’s going around telling the ones on the block if their names picked to pick him to play.

    Mallory saying he says he’s probably telling everybody else the same thing. He keeps going around telling everybody he’s going to be back doored which she says “He is!” they all start laughing.

    Jason is working the house hard, telling Dee he’s a free agent now that Rome is gone and could be loyal to her and Angela, offering to help take out Chuk, Thog, and Kamu. Meanwhile in the SR, Melody and Mallory tell Drew that Jason is running around asking people to play in the POV for him because he thinks he’s the target, and Drew agrees he’s probably right.
