Hey guys!

So, here we are. Mid May and it’s time to start dusting off the site and getting it prepped for Big Brother 28! And the perfect time to do it is after CBS announced the official start date for the season which will be on July 9th!

It is unknown how long the season will last, although my initial guess will be Oct 7th being the season finale which would put the season at around 92-93 days depending on when they actually move in. If they have it a week earlier, we’re looking at Sep 30 which is 86~ days. I believe that would be the shortest season in a long time. Considering the press release says ‘Biggest Season Yet’, my guess is 10/7.

Now, biggest season yet doesn’t mean longest. I don’t think they’ll push the 100 day mark at all. They make it clear to mention ‘most programming hours’ and considering they’re leaning heavy into the ‘Unlocked’ thing this year (including a live audience), I don’t think we can gain any insight as to the finale from that quite yet.

Just plan for 10/7, but 9/30 could also be an option.

They are also heavily leaning into the 1,000th episode happening this season, so expect a LOT of mentions of 1,000, 1k, or any variation of that. That could actually be the theme of the season. And judging by Wikipedia, BB27 ended on episode 975, which would put episode 1k at roughly September 3 (live eviction), so also look for something special that week (put a pin in that).

Note: this is assuming they are not counting the ‘unlocked’, but I don’t think they are.

What are you excited for the most??
