Big Brother 28 – Friday Afternoon Feed Updates

Some late night awkwardness in the house, Jason tells Rome to go talk to Devens right now, and Rome ends up watching the Tool Shed alliance file down the stairs one by one while Devens just shrugs it off upstairs.

Late night chaos in the house, Jason is spiraling about who’s really working together, sprinting into the have not room asking if Barrett and Dee are playing him while Angela cackles. Rome is separately scheming about locking in Yash and calling their group the outcasts against the macho beasts. Feels like the game talk and paranoia is ramping up hard overnight.

Alright thank you Bean Bot. So to summarize, Devens won HoH and Lyric/Rome have to do the horizontal shuffle on a spinning wheel this week

House is slow today. Just Lyric up. Probably didn’t sleep too well last night

Early morning in the house, Lyric’s up going through her routine at the sink brushing teeth and blow drying her hands while the water runs a good while. Pretty quiet start to the day so far.

Rome and Lyric are up early whispering in bed but feeds keep getting drowned out, first by some banging turning wheel sound then BB has to remind Rome to put his mic on.

Okay, house is finally waking up for the day!

Lyric says Devens didn’t promise him anyway. Yea, that’s not a good sign

Feeds are back after being down and HGs are waking up to fallout from last night. Yash pulls Rome aside to tell him they were plotting to get him out but that he’s got him now, telling him to keep it quiet. Rome apparently had a rough game night overall, and there’s talk of a toolshed alliance combining Crossovers and Red Corner. Kamu is reportedly annoyed he hasn’t been called to the DR yet to talk about the comp.

I guess Rome rang the HoH door last night and Devens couldn’t answer. He apologized. Rome asked him straight up what’s going on and Devens said ‘I think we may be in trouble gamewise’ referring to him.

He continues ‘Look I love you, you’re an amazing dude. But you’re a big dog and I think things are going to get dicey’

So Devens all but told Rome he’s the target this week. I wonder if he’ll even bother with backdoor

Rome pulls Drew aside and recaps him on the Devens conversation. He also says he rang the doorbell last night but everyone did the ‘shush’ rather than just tell him they were talking

Angela is promising something is coming out very soon regarding house secrets

Big fallout from getting locked out of the HOH room last night, Rome is going around telling everyone lines are being drawn, going hard at Devens and Drew about siding with the other group. Rome now thinks him, Jason, and Lyric could all go on the block today. Angela is telling Lala and Latrice big stuff is about to come out, teasing a mama’s alliance. Noms are today.

Big morning of game talk in the BB28 house. Rome is making the rounds calling out Angela, Dee and others for ignoring/hiding from him last night, telling them he only trusts Dee and Drew and warning them shit is about to hit the fan. He’s picked up on the mega alliance forming against him and is now scrambling, telling Lala, Mallory, Latrice and others that he’s the target and they’ll try to backdoor him, while pushing Mal/Lyric/Melody to solidify votes. Meanwhile Jason is telling Drew and Taylor he thinks Angela swindled him in yesterday’s comp, and word is spreading that Devens told Barrett last night that Drew and Rome have a final 4 alliance.

Rome has been going around the house causing all kinds of havoc everywhere now he’s got Lala thinking she’s going on the block.

Taylor is telling Mallory that Drew & Barrett were moles for the other side. Now they’re both talking about all this stuff they confided in the 2 of them.

Taylor says she’s going to start calling Haley “fake ass Rachel Reilly”

House is up and buzzing with whispers already this morning. Jason is going around counting votes for each side in front of Drew. Devens as HoH is planning to backdoor Rome and Rome is starting to sense he’s on the outs after being shut out of an HOH meeting. Mallory checked in and got reassured she’s safe, but Devens isn’t revealing noms yet, with the house feeling divided between who got invited upstairs last night and who didn’t.

Angela is telling Devens that Jason is saying that Haley is the ringleader. They’re going to let everyone keep thinking that.

She also lets Devens know that Jason is going to be all theatrical when going on the block because he’s acting for TV. She called him a bad After School Special. Got to admit that was pretty funny.

Mallory is stressing out over Barrett saying that he barely even spoke to her this morning and now believing he is on the other side.

Angela telling the kitchen group on her season they completely messed up the whole OTEV competition. There was only one round because nobody paid attention to what they were really supposed to get.

House getting ready for nominations

Jason is crying to Barrett this morning, apologizing for last night and admitting he was being paranoid, brings up some flirting between them too. Barrett seems to be consoling him through it. Meanwhile Lyric tells Mal she’s getting suspicious of Yash for hanging out with ‘them’ all morning. Talk going around is noms will be Jason, Lyric and Melody with Rome as the target.

Angela in the SR with Yash trying to make Yash think that she’s the reason he’s safe this week. Come on Angela I was really starting to like you.

Lots of nervous energy in the house this morning. Melody tells Drew she thinks she might be a renom target, while Mallory grills Barrett trying to read the room and he tosses out Jason and Melody as possibilities. Devens is being cagey with Yash and Lyric, only teasing that today is going to be wild with a speech that starts nice and then napalms.

12 Mallory Melody and Jason are talking Jason tells the girls he believes that Drew jumped ship and went to the other side last night when Devin’s won the HOH (That’s not when it happened but good try). He’s telling Mallory to ask Drew if he was up in the HOH last night to see if he’ll lie.

I apparently need to proofread before I post especially when I do talk to text.

Melody’s talking strategy, wants to ramp up the aggression and sell Drew on the idea he’d have a better shot at the end against the other side. Rome tells Lyric to trust him, says last night’s moves were just seed planting. Meanwhile Mallory’s a little salty that Barrett kept quiet about a big convo he was apparently part of last night, and Jason, Melody and Mallory seem mostly out of the loop on what’s really going on.

So they apparently are still trusting Drew bc Jason Melody and Lala are talking while Drew is laying on the couch next to them. Lala asked Drew if he’s still on their side and he said of course. He did let them know I was up in the HOH for a little bit yesterday but wasn’t for any planning. So they are talking in front of Drew about how they’re going to go about getting Barrett back to their side.

Feeds went WBRB for a while, likely something to do with the Time Capsule twist, and came back with no visible changes. Jason is nervous and doing breathing exercises, telling Yash he’s worried about being nominated, while Angela apparently told him he’ll need to fight for veto. Yash reassures him that even if he goes up, all three current noms would stay safe. HGs are still being pulled into the DR getting asked about last night’s HoH comp.

Lots of game talk this hour. Jason is campaigning to Drew, Mel and Latrice that Barrett needs to be pulled into their group before he gets too starstruck by Angela, Devens and Dee, calling out what he sees as a divide and conquer move. Meanwhile Angela and Haley are hashing out how to expose Jason’s lies without getting emotional about it, and separately Mallory and Lyric are going back and forth about noms, with Lyric guessing Rome is the target but worrying her own name is being thrown around too.

I think they are keeping feeds mostly on for this time capsule except it seems they are shutting down when the person leaves and new one enters

Lots of scrambling before noms. Rome and Lyric both know they’re likely targets, Melody suspects she is too, while Jason seems to think he might be safe even though word is Angela pushed hard overnight to backdoor Rome and put up Lyric, Melody and Jason. Rome is already planning his blowup speech if he goes up, saying he’ll call Devens a liar in front of everyone. Drew is also relaying to Dee that Jason thinks he and Barrett were only brought in for numbers.

Angela is in a detective/egg outfit. She’s explaining to the group that she was chosen by America to play and that she ended up with the punishment.

Time Capsule results are in: Angela got America’s vote, had to redo her spinny chair/colors comp from her BB26 season, and failed it, so she’s stuck with the Hard Boiled Detective punishment (Vince’s Egg). Meanwhile Dev is running his nomination speech by Dee, planning to call out Rome for only wanting to protect Lyric and Jason while throwing others under the bus, with some jokes to soften it. Noms still haven’t happened yet, feels like they’re still a ways off.

She jokes with everybody that if they are conspiring against her that they can do it outside this week because she will not be going outside all week it’ll be too hot in the outfit. I’m glad to see Angela is getting a good laugh out of this.

They had to give her a special stool to sit on because whenever she sits down somewhere her outfit goes up and her headpiece comes down so she looks like an actual whole egg. I guess that’s the best way to explain it.

Angela is an egg.
