Big Brother 28 – Saturday Feed Updates 7/18

House is gearing up for a big day: veto players get drawn today, then the veto comp itself and post-veto scheming later on. Feeds might get choppy during comp time as usual.

It’s POV day in the house. Feeds open with Jason up early brushing his teeth, pacing around the bathroom and kitchen, then sitting at the table looking over the memory wall as BB gives the first wake up call.

Early wake up call this morning, houseguests rolling out of bed. Taylor tells Lala she had a good dream about home, Lala says she’s feeling it today.

The house guests are up most are in the kitchen eating & random chit chat. We have two cameras showing Jason and Rome sitting on the half couch sulking.

Since they got them up so early I’m guessing an early Veto. Not sure if it is bc they want to get it done early or if it’s going to take a long time. I guess the day will tell.

The kitchen crew joking about yesterday’s nom meeting. Devens starts laughing & said this meeting has not been adjourned. Basically they’re joking now that the meeting was never ended.

Lyric & Rome alone talking (shocker) but Lyric telling him she’s sorry that this had to happen to him. Rome said this was bound to happen I was playing too good of a game somebody was bound to blow it up eventually.

Another one, Tell me you don’t watch Big Brother without telling me you don’t watch Big Brother. Jason is asking Taylor who gets to pick the players for the Veto and how do they get picked. Was he not at the Veto picking last week?

Rome and Jason talking HOH plans in the jacuzzi, guessing Mallory or Yash would be replacement noms if Rome wins POV. Rome tells Lyric he’s gonna protect her no matter what even if it costs him his own game, saying she means too much to him. He also says he needs to apologize to Haley. Meanwhile Lyric and Melody are laying low on game talk today, chatting about whether the next comp could be OTEV.

Lyric Rome Melody all talking Lyric says if she gets HG choice she’s picking Rome He said of course you are. Melody said she is picking Drew. Rome said Jason said he was going to pick me if he got the HG choice and I told him not to bc I wouldn’t take him down. Melody said duh you wouldn’t take him down. And back out the door Melody went.

LaLa and Jason in the bunk room laughing about what went down at the Nom meeting yesterday. Lala saying they were bouncing insults off each other like they had been practicing it. Jason busted out laughing promising nothing of this was practiced at all. I always wondered what was in the air in the BB house because I’ve never seen people forgive others so quickly for such harsh things that have been said or done. Esp when it’s people you have known less than 2 weeks.

Melody came into the bunk room & said I am hearing I am the target. Jason looked at her & said there is no way you are the target. All 3 of them agreed that there’s nothing they can really think about or know what’s going to happen until after today’s veto is played.

I’m sorry this is just too funny Angela is trying to eat her breakfast. But apparently the costume is so bulky she can barely get her hands to her mouth. And of course the cameras are all zoomed in on her.

Veto picks happening this morning, Lyric grabs Rome and Melody grabs Drew for houseguest choice. Rome’s a bit in his head about yesterday and gets emotional, Lyric talks him through it and tells him to move forward. Lots of game talk in the pod room and jacuzzi, Melody’s worried Mallory becomes replacement nom, and the group is side eyeing Barrett for playing both sides with the big dogs. Lala says the only person she really wants out right now is Haley.

Feeds are down they’re probably picking players for the Veto comp

Feeds cut to animals around 9:36 for veto player picks, so we’re waiting to find out who’s playing in this week’s PoV.

Feeds are back I am almost positive that one of the pics was Barrett not sure about the other one yet I will let you know as soon as I figure it out.

Lyric & Rome right back to there makeshift bed. I call it the half couch but it’s the bucket looking thing that’s got like half a circle mattress in it. Anybody knows the correct term for it feel free to let me know. At this point I just feel like calling it Lyric & Rome’s bedroom.

Feeds went down for veto player picks and are back now. Barrett and Angela are confirmed as the two extra houseguests playing in the veto comp.

Barrett and Devens talking in the HOH room saying the picks could have never went better. Barrett let’s Devens know, no matter who wins somebody is coming off that block. Then a light bulb just went off in Devens head and he’s says: OH, everybody’s going to use it which means he is going to go up! (Meaning Rome) This is so perfect then he says I am so bad at this game. LOL

Rome and Drew going over each person in the house trying to figure out who is lying about their profession. Rome says Lyric is definitely a singer. They think Chuk might be an attorney (You got both of those wrong)

All feeds on the workout room You have Melody Rome and Drew. Melody has made it very clear she’s still is very angry with Jason and does not want to F with him. She also says she hopes this competition is the word competition because she has her word that she wants to do already. She’s mentioned that a couple times today and every time somebody asks her what it is she’s like I’m not telling you.

Devens is HOH with Lyric, Melody, and Jason on the block, and Angela and Barrett drew as the extra POV players for today’s veto comp. Devens is already stressing to Barrett that everyone will probably use the veto on themselves, which would send Rome up as the replacement nom. Rome told Drew his real name is actually Jack, not Rome, treating it like a huge secret, and also called out a possible Drew/Melody connection while insisting his own showmance with Lyric will keep him safe.

Devens and Barrett chatting it through and Devens is realizing Rome is likely going on the block since everyone will use the veto, saying it was all Angela’s idea. Meanwhile Rome tells Drew the story behind his name in a lighter moment.

I haven’t been doing many updates because there’s really nothing to update. We have 4 screens on Rome Lyric & Drew hanging out in the kitchen talking about pizza. Basically everyone’s just waiting around for the veto to start. Also they keep jumping back to the big brother screen so as soon as you start to get into a conversation they cut it.

Drew talking to Devens & Devens says they’re definitely going to put Rome up. Drew said that’s a great idea bc he made it clear if he was HOH he was putting up Devens Angela and Chuk.

Drew telling Dee and Devens about the four seasons alliance with Rome Melody and Lyric. Then jokes with them and says that’s actually my real alliance That is a real serious alliance I’m going to bail on y’all for that one. Devens said go ahead I’m just going to put you on the block and they all had a good laugh.

Basically Drew is up in HOH spilling all the tea he has gotten from the other side in the last day. Including Yash no longer trusts the other side and if they work it right that could be a number for them.

Melody is definitely a grudge holder if she keeps that up she might not have anybody in a week or two. She is doing some cam talk in the workout room and hyping herself up saying she can do it! She’s going to win the veto then says she’s going to go after Devens so he can go home and take care of his kid. Not cool Melody not cool. Everybody is there to win the cash prize. Whether they joke about it or not.

Angela and Yash having a sweet bonding moment, Angela telling him she can feel they’re on the same page. Meanwhile Devens is locked in with Drew and Dee in the HOH, confirming Rome is still the target and he’s losing votes like Melody and Yash to the other side. Devens is worried Angela might use the PoV on Jason, and says if Lyric wins and doesn’t use it to save Rome he’ll make sure she pays for it. Also hearing Barrett may throw the veto to Melody to help the plan along.

Devens says he tried to end the meeting yesterday three different times and every time he tried to end it something else sparked up.

Everybody’s eating lunch and we get cats on two of the screens.

All 4 screens are officially on cats so I will keep an eye on this the best I can and will let you know when the Veto is over.

Melody is hyping herself up hard before veto, working out and repeating “I’m Melody fucking Morris, I can do this” while cam talking about the noms fight. Meanwhile some HGs are upstairs in HOH laughing and rehashing that same nom fight. Feeds are split now, half the house on lunch and the other half heading down for POV with Devin, Jason, Lyric, Melody, Angela and Barrett playing.

I still have not seen the Veto and I haven’t heard anybody mention yet who won it. But I’m still looking.

In other news the stalker is sitting on the couch in the bathroom while Lyric is taking a shower. There’s a shocker!

It is sounding like Devens might have won it

Feeds are back and Devens has won the Power of Veto, a puzzle comp that sounds like it was a tough one. Talk around the house is that Melody comes down and Rome or Jason ends up as the renom, with Angela and Drew guessing Devens keeps Jason on the block for the blockbuster. Dee and Barrett are chatting about how lucky they are this week, saying they don’t care if it’s Rome or Jason who goes.

Melody’s talking to Dee and they just confirmed that Devens won the Veto.

Devens is HoH and won POV too, noms are Lyric, Melody, and Jason with the meeting Monday. House chatter is split on whether Devens uses the veto on Melody and re-noms Rome, or just keeps noms the same. Lyric and Rome are talking it over, with Rome getting a little showmance-y telling her if one of them goes it’s not the end of them.

Yash and Chuk chatting about laying low this week since they’re not on the block. Meanwhile Kamu and Dee are talking in the bedroom about sending Rome home, with Kamu saying he’s good with it since Rome’s already been through it with Devens. Lyric is campaigning hard to Chuk and Yash after a rough POV puzzle comp, telling them she really doesn’t want to leave week 2.
