Devens won veto

I still have not seen the Veto and I haven’t heard anybody mention yet who won it. But I’m still looking.

In other news the stalker is sitting on the couch in the bathroom while Lyric is taking a shower. There’s a shocker!

It is sounding like Devens might have won it

Feeds are back and Devens has won the Power of Veto, a puzzle comp that sounds like it was a tough one. Talk around the house is that Melody comes down and Rome or Jason ends up as the renom, with Angela and Drew guessing Devens keeps Jason on the block for the blockbuster. Dee and Barrett are chatting about how lucky they are this week, saying they don’t care if it’s Rome or Jason who goes.

Melody’s talking to Dee and they just confirmed that Devens won the Veto.

Devens is HoH and won POV too, noms are Lyric, Melody, and Jason with the meeting Monday. House chatter is split on whether Devens uses the veto on Melody and re-noms Rome, or just keeps noms the same. Lyric and Rome are talking it over, with Rome getting a little showmance-y telling her if one of them goes it’s not the end of them.

Yash and Chuk chatting about laying low this week since they’re not on the block. Meanwhile Kamu and Dee are talking in the bedroom about sending Rome home, with Kamu saying he’s good with it since Rome’s already been through it with Devens. Lyric is campaigning hard to Chuk and Yash after a rough POV puzzle comp, telling them she really doesn’t want to leave week 2.

Lyric is making her final pitch to Yash and Chuk, telling them she’d never put them up and feels solid with them from the start. Yash and Chuk seem convinced, agreeing keeping Lyric is better for their game and that Melody or Jason should go instead. They’re also floating that Rome could be a target to backdoor later while Taylor and Angela debate timing on that move.

Fairly slow night so far. Lots of small campaigning while they wait for the backyard to open

Lots of scrambling after the veto ceremony blew up that side of the house. Yash and Chuk are picking through the wreckage, with Chuk shading Taylor to Yash over the house keeping her instead of him. Meanwhile Melody and Mallory are strategizing about getting Devens to use the veto on Melody and make it look like his own idea. Both think Lyric survives if she’s still on the block Thursday, with Jason more likely to go up as replacement than Rome.

Probably not much game talk until backyard opens because they’re all grouped

Lyric is campaigning hard to Dee, pushing to get taken off the block so Rome goes up instead, claiming Melody is already campaigning against her too. Dee gives her word she’ll pitch to Devens about using the veto on Lyric. Meanwhile hot tub crew is just vibing, short kings debate and White Lotus quotes flying around the house.

Random hot tub convo about steroids and hormones happening, then the crew moves to the living room. Angela, Jason, Barrett, Haley and Devens are chilling on the couch and Devens is pushing for group family dinners, with Angela and Jason planning a spaghetti and garlic bread menu.

Quiet evening in the house so far, Rome dozing off at the kitchen table and slop cupcakes being whipped up. Bigger stuff brewing though: Mallory and Lyric talked in the storage room, Mallory promising to warn her if the votes turn against her. Lyric’s hoping Devens will use the veto on her and mentioned he told her he loved her.

Dee and Jason have a little chat. He is talking about owning up to his Angela thing

Lyric finally in the HoH room to chat game with Devens. I guess day 12 is a good start

Taylor and Rome are coaching Lyric on how to work Devens for the veto, and Lyric goes up to the HOH to make her pitch. She promises she’ll never put him up and wants to work with him, saying she’s sorry she didn’t talk game with him earlier. Devens tells her she’s the one of the three he believes the most, then admits to himself after she leaves ‘dang, why do I believe her.’

Devens and Chuk huddled up in HOH talking strategy, Chuk giving the ok to use the veto on either Lyric or Melody but wants to run it by the Toolshed first. Devens is already eyeing Rome as the renom if that happens. Chuk also says he doesn’t want to bring Mallory, Melody, or Yash into the Toolshed, worried Yash is too clueless about house happenings to be trusted with info.

Melody is telling Lyric and Mallory she doesn’t trust Jason and won’t tell him anything, then dropping that Jason apparently wanted to pit Lala and Angela against each other. She’s even floated putting Jason up if she wins HOH. Meanwhile the girls are whispering to Devens about Rome’s list and how weird it was that Rome wanted to protect Jason.

Mallory, Melody and Lyric in the bunk room whispering about strategy and the different scenarios of what they would really like to happen. Somebody runs in and lets them know that the backyard is finally open (which has been open for a hot minute bc everybody else is out there hanging out) but once they hear that they go running.

Taylor goes the opposite direction She heads into the bunk room gets into bed and is talking to herself.

Playing cornhole is Devens & Kamu against Rome and Lyric. Lala doing laps in the backyard. We have Melody walking around with a pool stick in her hand. (I hope she doesn’t try to hit anybody with it? J/K maybe)

Drew and Melody are playing pool & Drew is whispering some things to her letting her know that it will most likely be her coming down off the block. That there’s no reason to bring Lyric off the block.

House is splitting into little groups tonight: Dee, Barrett and Haley chilling on the hammock while Mallory, Lyric and Melody whisper up a possible new alliance, with Melody’s crew reportedly eyeing Jason again. Meanwhile Jason and Chuk are having a heart to heart, Jason apologizing for his blow up and admitting he hoped America would vote him a power and that his people would rally behind him, saying he feels like he has no one left in the house. Elsewhere it’s just chill vibes, cornhole outside, pool time for Drew and Melody, and Taylor trying to force herself to sleep without her bonnet.

The house enjoying the outside We have some playing cornhole. We have some playing pool. We have some hanging in the hammock. We have Angela chilling & watching it all.

Jason and Angela having a whole frenemies moment tonight, patching things up after the egg fight drama. Angela’s pitching him hard for 3 weeks safety and her loyalty back, and Jason’s asking her for pitch advice on approaching Devens. Feels like a mini alliance forming there even as they’re still needling each other about gas and tushy rubs lol.
