Big Brother 28 – Sunday Feed Updates

Lots of scrambling this morning around the Rome/Jason renom situation. Kamu is pushing Dee to use the veto on Melody instead, while Melody and Lyric are salty about being woken up over it and Melody’s playing both sides, telling Drew she’ll target Rome and Lyric but also promising Kamu her trust. Jason was overheard in the gym rehearsing what sounds like campaign talking points right as Rome walked in. Mallory also cleared the air with Barrett after some side eyeing about his loyalties.

Lots of scheming chatter this morning. Drew tells Devens and Dee that Rome claims he and Lyric broke up (using finger quotes, so not real) apparently to convince Devens to use the veto on her. Rome also reportedly told Drew that if Devens won’t promise not to backdoor him, everything’s off between them. Meanwhile Devens is already asking who to target if Rome wins BB Comics, with Jason’s name coming up as a threat.

Jason and Rome are chillin after a workout talking mild game. Melody made her way to the HoH room to really keep distancing herself from that group of girls

Big strategy talk this morning: Devens and Drew are working out who to save between Melody and Lyric, leaning towards keeping Melody since they think she’d stay loyal while Lyric wouldn’t. Devens badly wants Rome out and is annoyed at how Lyric’s been treating him, saying Rome only tried to save her. Meanwhile Melody is telling Devens she no longer trusts Rome, and later tells Rome herself she’d vote him out 100 percent if it came down to it.

Lots of postgame processing happening. Lyric’s telling people she’s done with Rome and venting hard, while Mal and Mel are dissecting who might use the veto and whether it points to a renom. Meanwhile Devens and Jason, and separately Dee and Rome, are having clear the air talks about recent drama.

Jason is campaigning hard to Devens, swearing on his mother’s grave he won’t put him or Ang up and offering to be a loyal minion against the girls if he stays. Melody and Drew are on the other side plotting to target Rome if he survives and wins HOH, with Drew promising to vote however Melody wants. Kamu is now giving Lyric a pep talk before she heads in to talk to Devens too, so everyone seems to be working him ahead of veto.

Lyric is doing damage control, pitching to Devens that she wants him to backdoor Rome instead of her, distancing herself from him as a huge target. Meanwhile Melody is saying Haley would be her pick to go home next week. House also has photos planned for later, could be the in-house cam or something else.

Kamu and Devens talking about Lyric and I think they’re buying the whole breakup thing. Kamu thinks Rome is into her but she was just leading him on for safety then flirted with the other guys

Word from the Crossovers is they’ve agreed to swap targets, replacing Melody with Rome as the one who must go, and the group reaffirmed their loyalty to each other.

World Cup on one monitor, BB on another. Fun Sunday

Angela and Dee are deep in strategy talk, saying they don’t trust Drew, want the veto used on Lyric over Melody, and think Deven is too easily swayed by whoever pressures him. They also agree with Kamu that Rome is the target if he loses blockbuster. Meanwhile Haley is salty that Lyric ignored her outside and asked Chuk to scoot his chair closer, and BB had to warn Drew and Kamu about horsing around. Otherwise it’s a chill selfie camera and hangout kind of afternoon.

Lyric is back at it working on Chuk and Yash, and folks think Haley’s not gonna be happy about that. Lyric also mused about wishing this was Love Island, feeding into the vibe that showmancing has been part of her game. Meanwhile some chatter that Angela sees Melody as the bigger threat among the newbie women, which might be why she’s not fighting to save her.

Jason and Haley having it out after some drama, he tells her he won’t put her up with HOH if she wins and only promised safety to her, Devens and Angela. Haley says she felt hurt thinking he was being disrespectful but still wants to work with him, and warns him to be careful who he trusts. Jason admits he probably looks like an idiot to America right now. Meanwhile Mal and Barrett are talking about keeping Rome over Jas, with Mal saying there were no real alliances before.

Rome tells Yash he broke things off with Lyric, says he’s tired of playing to protect two people and won’t keep covering for her. He also claims he told Chuk he’d be his target if Chuk wins HOH just to throw others off. Meanwhile Haley and Angela are speculating Melody could be a renom target since she’s already played the game before, though Chuk pushes back on that logic. Kamu is also digging around trying to figure out who the mole is in the house.

HOH comp tonight is themed Achy Breaky HOH, Nashville 1992 country bar vibes, played in rounds with partners and a new rule added each round, odd numbers get a sit out.

Angela’s dealing with a rough egg suit punishment from her time capsule spinny chair comp, she’s in the SR crying about the heat saying it’s pure hell while BB gives her pads for pressure points. Barrett and Angela have a sweet moment in the LR gushing about playing the game together. Meanwhile Devens is all over the place with his noms, going back and forth on whether to save Lyric or Melody off the block, and he’s also venting to Drew and Haley that he doesn’t get why everyone’s mad at Rome.

Devens has put up Melody, Lyric, and Jason on the block. He’s telling Dee he wants to talk things over but is leaning toward taking Lyric off if that’s what she wants.

Chill evening in the house, Drew, Devens and Barrett shooting pool and chatting in the backyard before the boys circle up out there. Meanwhile Taylor is taking her braids out inside.

Lyric and Dee are hammock talking, laughing about the Angela/Jason blowup at noms and how the house went dead silent after. Meanwhile in the HOH the boys are doing a whole bubble bath cowboys bit, Devens in the tub in a cowboy hat with Drew, Barrett and Kamu around him waiting on champagne glasses. Lala is also weighing in on the week, saying she doesn’t think Jason goes home and the power needs to flip, naming Devens as a possible target and saying she’d have to backdoor Haley.

Bean Bot has been doing a lot of work but will do a little more as I go to bed. It’s been too long a weekend for me

The crazy thing is they think this will save them in the house lol Not the kissing, the fake breakup. It still sounds like Melody is coming off, but if Lyric actually does, I guess there is a chance.

Lots of scrambling on the feeds tonight. Angela is telling Lyric she won’t vote her out and is planning to push Devens to use the veto on her, while Lyric works every angle to survive. Meanwhile Lala is venting to Chuk that she feels betrayed after Rome allegedly exposed their alliance, saying she doesn’t know who to trust right now. Drew also told Devens he’s fine with the veto going on Lyric over Melody.

Lyric leaves just as Kamu comes in and Rome may have convinced them they were just having a breakup talk.

All 4 cameras on the kitchen We only have Barrett Jason Mallory and Yack and Mallory is making some kind of slop muffins for those on slop.

Taylor Lala and Chuk sitting on the backyard couches talking Taylor says she’s oblivious to everything and Lala says she’s in the kitchen alliance. LOL

Lyric and Rome getting cozy in the HN room, she was worried he’d been cold to her all day but he says it’s all an act to keep up appearances. Rome also fills her in that he made a deal with Devin/Dev not to be an early target, and thinks he can secretly work with him without anyone catching on. Sounds like a showmance and a game alliance brewing at the same time.

There honestly is nothing exciting to report at the moment We have a majority of them in the backyard Just doing random talking like places they like to eat.

Haley was telling Angela and Devens her whole plan of what she plans to do next week if she wins HOH. Now she is telling the same exact story to Barrett bc the other 2 have left the area.

Buried and Haley contemplating how tonight’s episode went. They both pretty much have it spot on. They were pretty sure that they were going to show Rome ringing the doorbell and everybody acting like they didn’t hear it. They also clocked that they would start the Nom ceremony they would show the nominees and they would probably start the argument between Angela and Jason and stop it there. They nailed that one

Lala telling Melody she’s pretty sure they are taking her off the block and adding Rome. Melody says I hope that’s exactly what they’re doing. Of course in a perfect world this is exactly what they need to do I just hope Devens does it.

You would think Angela has never played this game before. She is upstairs with Devens & Dee telling them that again she does not trust Drew and anything he says. Devens though is going to bat for him and saying he does trust him. Then they’re trying to convince him that taking Lyric off is the smartest choice bc taking her off and if Rome stays he it will work best for him. Saying that he would get more leeway with saving Lyric then he ever would saving Melody. Angela learn to read the room and in no Universe will Rome or Lyric forget that they were put on the block this week.

Dee tells Devens she’s so happy they’re playing this game together He says me too. She tells him I would you stuck with a bunch of 21-year-olds so then he tells her and now you’re stuck with just an old dude.

Melody is up in the HOH room talking to Devens. I really am hoping a light bulb goes off in his head.

Devens is leaning toward pulling Lyric off the block instead of Melody, with Angela and Dee pushing that plan since they think Lyric is gettable but Melody already belongs to the other side. Melody is pitching hard in the HOH room to stay safe, and Devens is telling her she’s safe either way but hinting he might not use the veto on her, framing it as an olive branch to Rome. Melody says she won’t endorse the Lyric plan but won’t blame him for it either.

Melody in HOH talking to Devens. Doing her spiel about why she should come down off the block. She’s saying she loves Lyric but she just can’t get a read on her she’s telling him that Mallory is still on the side of Rome bc she feels that Rome protected her this week & Melody tried to explain to her Rome did not protect you this week Devens did. He made it clear he was not putting up anybody from last week He explains to Melody if by chance Rome does come back he’s hoping to lessen the blow a little bit if he does choose to take Lyric off the block. She is saying she understands but you can tell by her facial expressions she’s not happy about it. She also says she knows that Lyric has been up there telling him to take her down He lets her know that Kamu & Drew are 100% in her corner. Melody makes it very clear even if you bring Lyric down Rome is mad as hell & it’s not going to lessen the blow it all. It will not change what he is going to want to do next week if he’s still there.

The conversation ends with Devens telling her he’ll definitely touch base with her tomorrow. But basically she’s going downstairs knowing that she probably is not coming down off the block. So I’m going to want to watch her to see what it is she has to say to everybody.

Lala and Jason talking in the BY she’s telling Jason she trusts him. I trusted Rome and it backfired. But I am definitely trusting you. Jason is telling Lala there was a conversation between him Devens and Rome when she came downstairs from somewhere mad I couldn’t hear exactly what Jason said after that. Then he said that Rome was talking about Lala to him & Devens and saying she’s crazy and throwing her under the bus.

I need some kind of recorder to tape the conversations on here so I can backtrack a little so that I make sure when I am typing what’s going on I catch the stuff I’m missing.

Haley and Devens in the SR talking about Lala. Haley says Lala’s going to be really angry when Rome goes on the block. (I am personally a little confused by that conversation because I thought Lala was done with Rome) So they start talking about how she is the oldest person in the house and she needs to start acting a little more mature. Conversation very short they start walking out and Drew walks in but then we get the big brother screen

Devens is in a scramble talking to Melody, actually offers to be a pawn for her down the road before seeming to catch himself mid sentence. Meanwhile Jason tells LaLa he predicts there’s gonna be a show tomorrow, so something might be brewing.

Haley and Devens are venting about Lala being mean, Devens saying age doesn’t give anyone the right to act like an asshole. Haley also pointing out that Mel’s been sitting with Jason and Lala a lot lately, reading into what that might mean.

Dee Devens (what looks like Barrett) and Lala talking & Devens asks Lala what surprised her the most about this game so far and she replied with how people can look you dead in the eye and lie to you

The feeds are cutting out a lot tonight so I will basically keep the computer on and try to put in what I can but if it just keeps going to the big brother screen I might call it a night.

Feeds are finally back Devens just talking to Lala they’re going over the whole putting Rome up on the block. Asking her opinion & letting her know she doesn’t have to give it if she doesn’t want to. She gives him no info at all. He is telling her all my friends told me not to win HOH early they both had a good laugh over that. Just some more chit chat about things that have already been said in other conversations and that was the end of that conversation.

We have a large group on the hot tub / half circle couch Jason Melody Drew Lyric Mallory Yack Rome & Kamu just B’SING about silly stuff talking about Taco Bell/Chick-fil-A etc. Lola walked in for a moment walks right back out as quickly as she walked in. Angela laying down in bed. Dee walks by her ask her if she’s sleeping she says no. Again all four cameras back on the group and the hot tub / half circle couch

Angela and Dee run to the SR laughing uncontrollably bc they’re apparently plotting to sabotage something but of course they take the feeds off them so you can’t hear what’s going on.

Dee & Angela still trying to plot about what they’re going to do, keep laughing about everything. They ran over a bunch of different scenarios. Melody comes in to get a snack. They claim to be in the SR just chit-chatting bc they didn’t want to upset Lala for chatting in the bedroom again. Melody agrees about what happened last night was not cool. They ask what’s going on in the group Melody says we’re still talking about fast food french fries. All three agree that conversation is going on for a very long time. They talked a few more minutes and she goes back to the group talking about fast food.

All four cameras back on the group talking about fast food. And I’m going to call it a night. Just as I said that big brother screens come on so hopefully I don’t miss anything good tonight. If I do I’m sure Steve & Mel will catch it and be able to fill you in tomorrow Good night.

Angela Egg and Dee are cackling in the hot tub area, scheming little ways to mess with the house and annoy LaLa. Meanwhile a big group chat has broken out about everyone’s fast food habits.
