Big Brother 28 – Monday Feed Updates + Veto Meeting Results

Devens is working an alliance with Drew Barrett and Yash while keeping Dee out of it, and separately offered Kamu anything from his HoH basket if he puts Latrice up as a have not. Veto meeting expected soon, with word that Devens plans to pull Lyric off the block and name Rome as the renom. Also some Barrett/Lala hugging going on and Barrett venting to Angela about not wanting to seem useless to his allies.

Veto meeting should be happening soon. Usually around noon

Barrett and Angela having a deep strategy sesh, calling Drew a ‘little Dr. Will’ and clocking Rome/Lyric as secretly still together plus other showmances. Angela gives Barrett a shoulder massage during the chat. Feed cuts away right as Rome and Angela start talking, then Rome tells her word is going around that she’s ‘the puppeteer’ at the top of the house, with Jason apparently behind the rumor. Rome also opens up that he ‘really loves this girl’ about Lyric. House otherwise seems to be in a holding pattern waiting on the POV meeting.

Feeds down for the veto ceremony, word is Devens is expected to use it on Lyric and name Rome as the replacement nom.

Feeds cut for the POV meeting about an hour ago. Word is Devin is using the veto on Lyric and Rome goes up as the renom.

Feeds back. Rome is likely on block. Just waiting to see if Lyric or Melody down

There have been 8 noms in total this season, and all 8 have been unique. Sure it’s only two weeks in but typically we have someone ride the block two weeks in a row.

Veto meeting happened, Devens used the veto on Lyric and put Rome up in her place as expected. Feeds came back to Lyric telling Rome she can’t imagine the house without him, then a full on makeout sesh, so that showmance is not exactly hidden anymore. Now the waiting game starts to see who the real target is over the next few days.

Mallory already locks in to keep Melody. So, that’s 1

Rome making his rounds after being put up, telling Chuk and Kamu he figured he’d go up and thinks Devens did the right thing pulling Lyric off since she didn’t deserve to be a pawn. He’s also confirming to multiple people that he and Lyric are broken up again. Meanwhile Mel and Mal are strategizing in the SR about who they can trust to keep them off the block, and Lala floats to Rome that if he doesn’t win, best case is Jason wins and Mel goes home instead of him.

Mel, Mal and Lyric talking strategy in the SR about wanting Rome to stay, but Mal doesn’t want to be caught on the wrong side of the vote if that can’t happen. Meanwhile Dev tells Hal that Rome thinks he has the votes to stay but doesn’t. Drew, Rome and Yash did a little celebration dance for completing a house mission, feeds otherwise pretty chill.

Mel is annoyed that Jas threw her name out as a renom option, and Kam says Jas did the same to him. Tay and Kamu are talking about how Tay is being perceived as attached to Lala’s side just from being seen around her. Tay’s take of the day: you listen to people when they’re mad or drunk because that’s when the truth comes out.

Feed chat happening about the Rome and Lyric breakup being fake, and Haley wondering out loud if Jason and Lala are still working together. Dee thinks yes, no reason for them not to be.

Lyric Rome and Mallory sitting outside talking & Rome said that he made a deal with Devens that if he brought Lyric down he would give him a week of safety meaning if he’s HOH he won’t put him up and if he’s on the block he won’t vote him out. Lyric asked him are you going to keep that deal and Rome said Yes bc I’m a man of my word.

Devens and Lyric had a meeting where he seems to think she’s loyal to him. Rome, Lyric and Mallory chatting about Rome’s status in the house. Haley tells Chuk while eyeing Rome and Lyric, “I knew they weren’t broken up, just look at them.”

Barrett and Drew talking F2 in the gym, getting close to a deal, Barrett saying there’s no one else he’d rather sit next to at the end, not even Devens. Meanwhile Mallory and Melody are hammock talking, Melody venting hard about Rome putting her in a bad spot and admitting she’s shit talking Rome and Lyric in her head now.

Dee Barrett and Drew trying to think of something to do to cause a little chaos with the house. Drew is set on wanting to hide the coffee pot. Barrett is like absolutely not I have to have my coffee……Well Barrett I would suggest making your cup of coffee the night before and put it in the fridge and have a little ice coffee in the morning. Because watching them all have another meltdown over coffee would be more entertainment for us.

Chill vibes in the house right now, lots of joking around with Mal, Melody and Angela clowning on each other. Drew’s been pushing a coffee maker hiding prank but Dee and Barrett keep shutting him down since they need their caffeine. Now they’re talking about hiding half the forks instead. Also some game talk about who gets the next power after Dee and Devens.

Kamu joins the group of Dee Drew and Barrett that they’re going to lose the yard at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning so then Kamu says Dee what are we going to do? Drew and Barrett all start snickering and Drew says yes Dee what are we going to do? I’m sure they’ll come up with something.

Kamu Drew Barrett and Dee talking about what other shows they would like to do Drew & Kamu definitely want to do the Challenge & think Haley would also do really good at the Challenge. Drew & Kamu also said definitely would love to do the Amazing Race. Kamu said my dad loves AR & always wanted to go on there & if I could go on the AR with my dad that would be awesome. I’d like to see Kamu on the AR with his dad.

They’re still talking about other shows & they’re talking about who would be good on what show and they just talked about Jason should go on RuPaul’s drag race. Then said if anybody’s watching please put Jason on RuPaul’s drag race. Aren’t they going to feel crunchy when they see the truth.

Backyard is reportedly getting closed down for 3 days. Drew’s in a mood, calling the cast bottom of the barrel and admitting he’s using BB as a stepping stone to the Challenge.

Not directly BB related but apparently CBS is replaying Survivor Season 50 because I just pulled up my DVR to put on Below Deck and it is recording Survivor Season 50 Episode 1. Not sure why it should only be recording new episodes but that’s my problem nobody else’s.

Angela informs Devens that she was informed today that she can take the costume off right before the HOH comp She has to wear for the live show and then she can take it off.

They are now talking about Thursday’s vote saying it should be unanimous. Angela saying they’re pretty sure Lyric will not vote against Rome though but Devens thinks if she’s going to be a lone vote she probably would vote against Rome. No she won’t.

Devens saying America’s going to hate him for trying to break up the showmance of Rome and Lyric. Angela telling him absolutely not that’s the game. Just a little note to Devens we are upset with you for not keeping them both on the block not for getting the pair split up.

Devens is doing his usual quiet dinner routine in the HOH room with his family photos and a beer. Angela’s egg punishment is almost over, she was told she only has to wear it through the live show and not the next HOH comp. Melody’s getting all 4 cams on her working out in the backyard.

Devens is telling Angela about a new Yash guys alliance forming with Drew and Barrett, naming Kamu, Haley, and Chuk as the wary ones, and Drew separately confirms the Drew Devens Barrett group to Angela too. Devens tells Angela he fully trusts her and Dee. Meanwhile Angela is stuck wearing the egg costume and is not a fan, venting the egg detective can kiss her ass. On the other side of the house, Rome is campaigning hard to Taylor, pitching himself as a shield since he is seen as the ringleader of the other side, while Mallory and Melody trash talk Devens and Rome in the gym. Taylor tells Rome whoever sits next to Melody is going home.

Devens & Haley talking about how adamant Lala is that she will not be a have not and how arrogant that is. They said almost everybody else has been there, there’s only a few that haven’t had to do it yet. Haley says Angela should get the break next week since she’s had the punishment all week. Then they swing back to ot not being okay that Lala is thinking she should not be a Have Not. I have to agree with them that she’s in the house she wanted to play big brother it’s time to be a Have Not.

Lala just comes out of the SR with the brand new coffee maker. I’m secretly hoping that Drew Barrett and Dee pull through with their plan bc it would be so great to watch in the morning when that thing is gone.

Dee Devens Angela and Haley trying to contemplate whether BB will allow them to bring the cornhole game in the house before they close the yard. My guess is no, what do you think?

Jason going over his votes to keep him safe with Lala in the kitchen. I’m afraid Jason is a little dilulu with a lot of these people he thinks are going to save him.

Devens says he got really excited when Derek followed him on Instagram. It’s funny to hear a Survivor Vet fangirl over a BB Vet. Do these guys know a little bit more about BB than they’re letting on?

Dee, Angela, Devens, Drew and Haley are strategizing about the next HOH, with Devens pushing that someone from their group needs to actually try and win it. Drew asks who’s been saying they don’t want it, and Devens points to Barrett. Also, the house’s replacement coffee maker has arrived, crisis averted.

Some of the house sitting down to a family dinner tonight, mostly cooked by LaLa. Feeds noting the group is happy to eat her cooking even though the talk behind her back hasn’t stopped.

I am sorry I have not kept up with the feeds that well tonight I’ve had some stuff that I needed to address that I’ve been putting off. But sitting here now we’ve had the big brother sign and the hideous music on for a very long time so I’m going to mute it keep an eye on it and if anything comes about while I’m still up it will definitely let you know.

Just as I was posting that feeds came back there is a group in the BY chit-chatting about chamomile so thanks BB for blocking that exciting footage. Like I said I’ll stay up for a little bit See if anything good happens if not talk to you all tomorrow.

Bedroom #2 with Haley Angela Dee & Kamu laughing and joking around about the silly stuff. Of course they keep shushing each other so that they don’t get yelled at for being too loud.

Jason talking his usual BS out in the BY rehashing stuff from the nom meeting and saying everything that happened was Devens fault bc he was lying and twisted all his words. Of course he did Jason.

Jason was also lying & throwing somebody else under the bus right after that conversation but honestly I missed it bc I was typing so if anybody heard it and knew what he was saying please feel free to share it.

For whatever reason screen #2 is not working so I don’t know if it’s a BB problem or a my problem? I have shut it down I rebooted it I have refreshed it and screen #2 still will not come up So I have 1, 3 & 4.

Is it just me or does BB just cut the feed so much that like times like tonight when it is on I struggle to understand what’s really going on?

Melody Jason Barrett and Mallory talking about people doing cam talk and then Mallory asked how do they even hear us talking to them? Why do I feel like sometimes I lose brain cells watching the feeds? Do you not wear a microphone around your neck? Seriously!
