Big Brother 15 – Saturday Night Fever

I apologize for disappearing on the live update thread last night.  The plumber finally came, and after snaking the sewer line, he snaked my wallet.. plus he was a chatterbox.  Anyway, after that I decided to head up to the beach to spend time with my cousins before winter comes and turns New England into a miserable wasteland of snowbanks a permanent overcast sky.

Last night in the Big Brother house, it was a generally relaxing evening as the house is hearing news that Hurricane Amanda may be swept up in the same jet stream that took away Hurricane Aaryn.  Everyone played games, joked and really had a good time, which is actually nice to watch at times.  Sure, I’ll take drama 9 times out of 10, but when they get along, it’s sometimes better than watching them talk bad about each other behind their backs.

If you didn’t catch it in the update thread, McCrae won the power of veto in an elimination style bowling competition that featured them getting dizzy.  When the feeds returned, McCrae had a pale face and rushed to the bathroom to puke up his lunch.  Amanda was just staring at the ground in the HN room, and I thought it was due to sulking, but she was probably pretty dizzy (or both).

During the competition, Amanda was target #1 and at one point had to spin and bowl four times in a row.  Andy also picked her during the competition, so that made her question what he was thinking, but he came up with the excuse he was scared and didn’t know what to do.  It’s pretty much the same lines he fed Helen before stabbing her in the back, so if Amanda actually believes him, she probably deserves to go home.  She’s been very keen on the little things, but I have no idea how she can’t tell that Andy has flipped.

As it stands today, Amanda will be heading out the door this Thursday night, and quite possibly could be followed shortly by McCrae during the double eviction.  I know, how could some anonymous facebook status message with 0 sources behind it possibly be wrong?  (If you’re wondering what I mean, someone posted that Amanda was BFF’s with the producer and the game was rigged for her to win this season. A lot of people took that as fact and ran with it). With that said, if there is a special power unleashed on the house this week where Amanda gets protection, then I take back what I just said…

Oh, and the picture above was because the house was playing a game, and Andy was forced to wear a tutu for an hour (any bigoted comments will be deleted).

Enjoy your Sunday and your Labor Day weekend!
